The Green Distillery was an Irish whiskey distillery which was established in Cork City, Ireland in 1796. In 1867, the distillery was purchased by the Cork Distilleries Company (CDC), in an amalgamation of five Cork distilleries. Production of whiskey at the distillery likely ceased soon afters its acquisition by the CDC. However, the distillery is known to have remained in use a bonded store by the Cork Distilleries Company for several years thereafter.

This impressive metal relief was found in a parlous state and had to be heavily restored by conservators afters its discovery. The central figure in the restored lintel shows the lion-headed eagle Imdugud who is the symbol of the god Ningirsu. Flanking either side of the god are two stags, one of whose heads has been restored. The relief was beaten out of a very large piece of copper and almost seems to stand apart from the background.

In 2005, MercyMe launched a tour with Jeremy Camp, The Afters and Monk and Neagle in support of their album, Undone. After releasing Undone in 2004, the band took a time to rest before their next big release, so they decided to work on a Christmas record. Cloak & Dagger showrunner Joe Pokaski discussed a potential crossover between his series and Runaways in August 2018, saying "hopefully there's some karma we can fulfill there" since Cloak and Dagger appear in the Runaways comics. As part of a marketing partnership between Hulu and Freeform, Runaways airs on Freeform following its Hulu release while Cloak & Dagger is made available on Hulu afters its Freeform broadcast. In August 2019, Marvel and Hulu announced that Cloak and Dagger would be appearing in an episode of Runaways third season, with Loeb describing this as "the adventure everyone has been waiting for and we've only hinted at." After racing in third place he took the lead inside the final furlong and accelerated away to win by two and a half lengths from Flat Spin. The four day ADE conference program is based around the DeLaMar Theater (ADE Pro, ADE Green and ADE TECH), De Brakke Grond & Compagnietheater (ADE Sound Lab & Beam Lab) and Generator Hostel (ADE University). ADE also opens its doors to non-professional musicians with ADE Sound Lab, where aspiring artists and producers are invited to meet some of the world’s most popular and in-demand artists, DJs and producers face-to-face in order to get expert opinions on their work. The event's latest initiative is ADE by Day, which started in 2011 (then named: ADE Playground) as a new technology showcase, but since 2012 features around 50 events, surprise daytime appearances by top DJs, art exhibitions and performances, special product lines, film screenings, and discounts in shops and bars. In 2012 it was also announced that ADE would officially go from a four-day event to five days due to the rapidly growing number of 'afters' events on Sunday.

Bong Revilla In January 2013, then House Minority Leader Danilo Suarez, Lakas–CMD vice-chairman, said that their party is likely considering Bong Revilla to be their candidate. Revilla later revealed that he is open to running for president and his involvement in the Priority Development Assistance Fund scam (PDAF scam) would not affect his political ambition. Afters being jailed at the Philippine National Police custodial center in Quezon City due to the PDAF scam, Revilla in May 2015 said that he is still open to running in 2016, as no law prohibits incarcerated people from running. When pushed further, Revilla said ""No comment," as he may not be able to "get free: because of it. While still in detention for his involvement in the PDAF scam, Revilla told reporters that his presidential ambition caused his detention, and that he was a "at a loss" on what to do once the filing of candidacies started, On his plans for the presidency, he said that " I’m not in a hurry. I’m still young", and that he wanted to clear his name first before running.

Centennial Park, named in honor of the village's centenary, was opened that year. The Park District had begun buying the land for Centennial Park in 1967, but did not finish buying the last parcels until 1972. In 1971 the Park District proposed building a sports complex at this site. Previous plans to construct a sports complex (featuring a swimming pool, children's park, bath house/warming house, natural ice rink, and a toboggan hill) on the site of the Community Playfield were blocked afters voters narrowly opposed it in a 1968 referendum. However, the Park District was successful in its proposal for a sports complex at Centennial Park, which was approved by voters as part of a $1.78 million parks renovation plan in a February 1971 referendum. The sports complex was completed in 1972 with a public swimming pool and indoor tennis complex. In 1974, following lobbying from local ice skating and ice hockey enthusiasts, the Park District broke ground on an expansion project that added an indoor ice complex and additional tennis courts to the sports complex. Centennial Ice Center opened to local ice enthusiasts the following year.

Hawk Nelson continued to gain popularity and was voted "Favorite New Artist" by CCM Magazine in their February 2006 Reader's Choice Awards. On April 4, 2006, Hawk Nelson released Connect Sets EP with six acoustic tracks, including "Bring Em' Out", "Thing We Go Through", and "California". Bassist Daniel Biro The band released their second studio album, Smile, It's the End of the World, on April 4, 2006. The album was also co-written by Trevor McNevan of Thousand Foot Krutch. The album won a GMA Canada Covenant Award for "Modern Rock/Alternative Album of the Year" in 2006. The album's first single, "Everything You Ever Wanted", went on to hit No. 1 for 9 weeks on the R&R; Christian CHR chart, and was the fourth most-played song of 2006. The band spent the middle of 2006 touring the major Christian music festivals, and also took part in Jeremy Camp's Beyond Measure tour. Hawk Nelson released a three-track Christmas EP titled Gloria on November 21, 2006, and then toured with TobyMac's Winter Wonder Slam tour along with The Afters, Family Force 5, and Ayiesha Woods.
