David Davies. Llandinam Bridge is located in the northern section of the village of Llandinam and is near the main A470 road as well as its byroad west over the River Severn. The bridge is made of cast iron and consists of a single segmental arch which is long and rises by . It consists of three curved cast-iron ribs which are deep and wide and are made from five X-shaped lattice panels.

Known informally as Byroad, the Tribhuvan Highway is the oldest of Nepal's highways and links Naubise, west of Kathmandu with the Indian border at Birganj/Raxaul. It was named in memory of King Tribhuvan (1906–1955). Its construction was completed with Indian assistance in 1956, and it provided the first serviceable road connection with India. The first regular daily bus service on the highway was operated by Nepal Transport Service in 1959.

In the lower Potenza valley, on the left bank of the river Flosis (modern River Potenza), some 15 km from the estuary of the river, lies the Roman town of Ricina. The area today is in part occupied by the small hamlet of Villa Potenza, part of the comune of Macerata, and is partially used as farmland. The town is located at the junction of the river Flosis with a crossroad of the Via Salaria Gallica Gallica and a byroad of the Via Flaminia.

From 2000 onwards the Potenza Valley Survey Project, a project of Ghent University directed by Frank Vermeulen, attempts to map all buried structures of the ancient town. The survey methodology involves a series of aerial photography operations, large-scale geophysical prospections and intensive artefact surveys and studies. Due to all this new information it is now possible to map most parts of the town’s infrastructure in detail. Roman Trea was situated along an important byroad of the via Flaminia, which connected Rome directly to the harbour city Ancona, via most of the Potenza Valley.

Asthall barrow is located along the strip of the A40 connecting the towns of Witney and Burford; it is immediately north of the A40 where it connects to Burford road, and just south of the byroad leading off Burford to Asthall and Swinbrook. The barrow is prominently located, and gives its name to surrounding structures, such as Barrow Plaintation, Barrow Farmhouse, and Asthall Barrow Roundabout. It overlooks the Thames Valley from Lechlade to Wytham Hill. To the north it looks out at Leafield barrow; to the south appears Faringdon Hill and beyond it the Berkshire Downs at White Horse Hill, while to the southeast Sinodun Hill near Dorchester appears, with the Chilterns in the distance.
