However, Tenebrous wasn't too surprised at Plagueis's betrayal and instead congratulated him with his dying breath, because his conscience would soon be able to enter his apprentice's body.

After decades of torture and being killed and then brought back to life over and over again, Plaugeis finally allowed Venamis to die, having served his purpose. However, he later revived again in the presence of his new apprentice, Darth Sidious, until Venamis' organs finally ceased to function, and he died for the final time.

After graduating from the Royal Conservatory in Brussels De Pauw founded the mime theatre group Radeis International (1976), and after that Schaamte, the theatre company that would be the start of the Brussels Kaaitheater. He both writes and performs in highly regarded theatre plays such as Larf and Weg (both with music by Peter Vermeersch, and has received many awards for his works, such as the Océ Podium Prize for his entire oeuvre in 2000. He has led theatre companies such as Het Net (Bruges), Victoria (Ghent) and Het Toneelhuis (Antwerp). With the latter company, he played the main role in "Tenebrous Heart", after Joseph Conrad's novel, performed in Paris in 2011.

Although a fairly short concerto, the Jolivet calls for masterful levels of technique and control, and great variety and depth of character.

If the characters find the wand but are not in possession of the circlet, they can send the wand away either by using great magic, or they can accomplish the same feat if one of the characters sacrifices his own life to reactivate the wand's ability to shift from one plane to another. Tenebrous is being eaten up from the inside by the power of the Last Word, so he will die if he doesn't find the Wand of Orcus in Agathion, assuming the characters destroyed the wand or sent it away. According to the fourth edition Monster Manual, some legends say that the skull atop the wand "once belonged to a god of virtue and chivalry who dared challenge Orcus in battle" while other legends identify it as the skull of a human hero, implying that it was magically enlarged to its current size; regardless, the goodness that once resided in this skull has been warped and perverted to monstrous evil.

This one time lineup included members of Krieg, Engorge, Tenebrous & Malevolent Creation. It was this festival Valac entered the band replacing Necrol as session guitarist. During the beginning of 2008, a decision was made to take Kult ov Azazel back to its original form keeping the core of the band a 3 piece and utilizing session members for live occasions. Writing for the new album was finalized and in late October 2008 the band entered Mana Studios again to record "Destroying The Sacred". Released June 2, 2009 through Arctic Music the album, as with past releases, has received excellent reviews from both the US magazines/zines as well as international ones. Support for the album kicked off on July 5, 2009 in Philadelphia, PA when Kult ov Azazel co-headlined the Hostile City Death Festival with Valac as session guitarist. When rehearsing for upcoming shows in October 2009 Kult ov Azazel brought Armanen in to cover guitars for live performances. That same month the band headlined the Milwaukee Blackened Festival and a one off show in Los Angeles, CA on Halloween night.
