This transformer induces current in the rotor without a direct electrical connection, thus there are no wires to the rotor limiting its rotation and no need for brushes. The two other windings are on the bottom, wound on a lamination. They are configured at 90 degrees from each other.

During the 1990 World Violation Tour, the band played a different version of the song, known as the "Split Mix", including their massive live performances at the Giants and Dodger Stadiums, which were being broadcast live on MTV. On 8 November 2001, shortly after their final Exciter Tour concert in Mannheim, Germany, the band played "Never Let Me Down Again" during the MTV Europe Music Awards in Frankfurt, which aired in the US on MTV2.

Impact Exciter is the eighth studio album by Japanese voice actress and pop singer Nana Mizuki. It was released on July 7, 2010 in Japan in two editions: a CD only edition and a limited CD+DVD edition. The limited edition includes a special box, a 77-minute DVD and a 48-page hardback photobook. This also became Mizuki's first foreign released album because of the cooperation between King Records and Gold Typhoon Music in Taiwan.
Annihilator mainman Jeff Waters was able to get the rights back to most of Exciters' catalogue titles from the old labels and get them a new deal to re-release these titles. As well, Waters re-mastered these titles and new booklet infos, including comments from the original 3 band members, as well as additional photos were added to the re-releases. In 2006, Exciter played Keep It True VI in Lauda-Königshofen, Germany. Shortly thereafter, Bélanger left again due to irreconcilable differences.

He produced a full specification for a three-phase plant in 1902, and toured Europe, talking to electrical manufacturers, who he found more supportive of his plans. In 2001, Depeche Mode released Exciter, produced by Mark Bell (of techno group LFO). Bell introduced a minimalist, digital sound to much of the album, influenced by IDM and glitch. "Dream On", "I Feel Loved", "Freelove" and "Goodnight Lovers" were released as singles in 2001 and 2002. Critical response to the album was mixed, with reasonably positive reviews from some magazines (NME, Rolling Stone and LA Weekly), while others (including Q magazine, PopMatters, and Pitchfork) derided it as sounding underproduced, dull and lacklustre.

A header tank, which contains enough water for a complete refill of the system, is connected into the inlet pipe to the winding. A small demineralising plant is provided to treat the water, should the conductivity of the make-up water supply be too high. The main exciter is a 3,000 rpm 3-phase machine directly coupled to the main generator shaft. Cooling is effected by a closed air ventilation circuit with pannier mounted coolers supplied with cooling water from the condensate system.

The process is reverse amplitude dependent, meaning that more is applied as the input level drops and less as the signal gets hotter. Distributed Mode Loudspeaker (DML) is a flat panel loudspeaker technology, developed by NXT, in which sound is produced by inducing uniformly distributed vibration modes in the panel through a special electro-acoustic exciter. Distributed mode loudspeakers function differently from most others, which typically produce sound by inducing pistonic motion in the diaphragm. On the outside, this type of resolver may look like a small electrical motor having a stator and rotor. On the inside, the configuration of the wire windings makes it different. The stator portion of the resolver houses three windings: an exciter winding and two two-phase windings (usually labeled "x" and "y") (case of a brushless resolver).
Metallica (pictured in 2009) began using Ennio Morricone's Ecstasy of Gold as its concert introduction in 1984. After recording was completed, Music for Nations founder Martin Hooker wanted to arrange a triple-bill UK tour in March / April 1984 with Exciter, Metallica, and The Rods. The Hell on Earth Tour never materialized because of poor ticket sales. To promote Ride the Lightning, Metallica commenced the Bang That Head That Doesn't Bang European tour on November 16, in Rouen, France, with British NWOBHM band Tank as support.

In February 2002 Bomb Factory played in The Power to Explode tour with the band Fulltrap.
A similar record was set with the release of Mizuki's 21st single "Phantom Minds" (2010), which was the first single released by a Japanese voice actress to top the weekly Oricon singles chart since its inception. Mizuki released her eighth studio album Impact Exciter in 2010, which peaked at No. 2 on Oricon. Her second compilation album, The Museum II (2011), peaked at No. 3 on Oricon. Mizuki's next four studio albums were Rockbound Neighbors (2012), Supernal Liberty (2014), Smashing Anthems (2015) and Neogene Creation (2016).
During the 1990 civil action brought against the band, "Exciter" was played backwards to the court. Lead vocalist Rob Halford demonstrated that, when played in reverse, the song appeared to contain the phrase: "I asked for a peppermint, I asked for her to get one." This action showed that by playing any song in reverse, phrases could be formed by the human brain. The same point applied to "Better by You, Better than Me", which had a sound that could be interpreted as "do it".

"All Hell's Breaking Loose" made its live debut in New Orleans on January 8, 1984. Just one day later, Kiss performed to their smallest crowd drawn in a major venue when just 1,507 filed into the Mississippi Coast Coliseum in Biloxi. The poor sales were blamed on the close proximity of the New Orleans and Biloxi shows, which took place just one day apart. "Exciter" was performed briefly, making its first appearance on October 11, and its final known live appearance on March 7.
The integrated processors included in mobile phones have become so fast, that synthesizer applications (apps) can play with the same capabilities as the classic analog or digital synths. "Goodnight Lovers" is Depeche Mode's thirty-ninth UK single, released on 11 February 2002. It is the fourth and final single for the album Exciter. The single did not qualify for the UK Singles Chart because it contained three songs in addition to the single itself, one more than UK singles rules allow. It did however qualify for the Budget Albums Chart and went straight to Number One before falling rapidly, the first Depeche Mode single to reach Number One in an official UK chart.
The little compensator in operation is geographically oriented, so the support rod for the weight points east and west. At the top of the gyro assembly, above the compensator, right on center, is an exciter coil fed with low-voltage AC. Above that is a shallow black-painted wooden bowl, inverted. In mid-1985, the group toured the United States and Canada for the first time, supporting Killing Is My Business... with Canadian speed metal band Exciter. Bomb Factory is a Japanese band with styles that originated in heavy metal and punk rock music during the early 1990s and later developed into the hardcore punk and melodic hardcore sound found on most studio releases. The band was formed in 1991 and remains active to this day. Since the formation, Bomb Factory has released a substantial amount of material and has become widely known throughout Japan. In the United States and Europe, Bomb Factory gained initial popularity with the inclusion of the theme track "Exciter" on Tecmo's Dead or Alive 2 video game.
It was the only Depeche Mode album to debut higher in the United States than in the United Kingdom. As of April 2006, Exciter had sold over 426,000 copies in the US, and has been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA); it has also been certified gold in Canada for shipments of 50,000 units. The plant that appears on the cover is the Agave attenuata, a species of agave sometimes known as the "lion's tail", "swan's neck", or "foxtail" for its development of a curved stem, unusual among agaves.
Although born in Toronto, John grew up in Ottawa and started teaching himself to play guitar at 14. His birth father was notably a sideman for the Beaumarks, with a lean towards Buddy Holly. John was infatuated with guitars and motorcycles, hanging around the local music shop (Domenic's - managed by Exciter guitarist John Ricci) watching and learning everything he could. Bates' early guitar bodies were made by his brother Bruce in high- school workshops while John attached and soldered whatever electronics and necks he could scavenge from old Silvertone guitars.

Escapexstacy is the debut album of Finnish gothic metal band Poisonblack. It was released on February 17, 2003 in Germany, February 25, 2003 in the United States and Canada, and March 8, 2003 in Japan. Amy Sciarretto gave a favourable review in CMJ New Music Monthly, writing that "Escapexstacy boasts gorgeous and progressive Euro-rock, which never gets too heavy..." The song "The Exciter" was featured in an episode of Viva la Bam, entitled "Where's Vito?", during a scene where Vito Margera destroys Bam Margera's beloved Hummer via being pushed into a quarry.

Each program disc was encoded with 57 concentric optical tracks that spun on a turntable inside the machine.
