The Country Bear Vacation Hoedown was a summer overlay for the Disney theme parks attraction Country Bear Jamboree. In Disneyland, it opened in February 1986 replacing the original show. Perrey and Kingsley were among the first musicians to release a single or album making extensive use of the Moog synthesizer, and, in addition to original compositions, their albums featured electronic versions of popular songs. The synthesizers used by Perrey and Kingsley imitate different acoustic instruments. Disney Paint the Night Parade (, Jyutping: dik6 si6 nei4 gwong1 ying2 wooi6) premiered at Hong Kong Disneyland on October 1, 2014. This is the first time Walt Disney Parks and Resorts created a fully LED parade, and features seven original floats containing over 740,000 individual lights. The Hong Kong version of the parade uses a newly arranged version of the Main Street Electrical Parade's theme song, "Baroque Hoedown," alongside a Cantonese arrangement of Owl City's "When Can I See You Again?" from Wreck-It Ralph. In the original version of the Hong Kong version of the parade, there was a show stop in which the performers were able to interact with the interactive LED Paintbrushes sold to audience members.

"Hoedown Throwdown" was created for the 2009 musical film Hannah Montana: The Movie, in which Cyrus stars as a famous pop star sent to reconnect with her Southern roots and family. The film's director, Peter Chelsom, felt the movie needed a big dance- number, similar to the "Macarena" (1995) or the "Funky Chicken" (1950s). Chelsom knew he wanted a song in which Cyrus' character, Miley Stewart, called dance steps that captured Cyrus' "real silliness physically" and her "great abandon". In addition, Chelsom wanted the song to represent the two worlds of Stewart, the main theme of the film, by "combin[ing] Miley Stewart’s L.A. hip- hop/pop style with her country roots".

He has completed all of these challenges , one of which was suggested by TV presenter, Phillip Schofield, and his daughter Molly, challenging McDonnell to perform the dance that accompanies the song "Hoedown Throwdown", made popular in the film Hannah Montana: The Movie. McDonnell has since posted a wide range of videos on the site including his most viewed "My American Accent". In 2008, McDonnell participated in a video-blog collaboration with four other YouTube personalities, titled FiveAwesomeGuys, a spin-off project of the FiveAwesomeGirls which featured hayleyghoover and italktosnakes and ran from 28 January to 31 December of that year. In May 2009, McDonnell created an alternate YouTube account, CharlieAtE3, which followed McDonnell when he traveled to E3 2009.

24' Wagon Wheel and Pick Axe at Fort Assiniboine Fort Assiniboine is home to a Hudson Bay style historical museum, known as the Fort Assiniboine Museum and Friendship Club Drop-In Centre, and the "World's Largest Wagon Wheel and Pick Axe". A boat launch east of the hamlet provides river-boaters access to the Athabasca River. There is also a private R.V. park and marina, which hosted the Athabasca River Voyageur Canoe Bridade in June 2017, celebrating Canada's 150th birthday. A farmer's market is held every Friday afternoon from May to September in the Recreation and Agriculture Building, which also hosts agricultural and sports events throughout the year including the annual Hamlet Hoedown Rodeo & Fair, held each August.

Kinmonth wrote a second song for the program, "Farm Animal Song (1-10 Hoedown)", which aired during its 45th season and was performed by Kinmonth and voice over artist, Kate Murphy. In 2012 he composed the music for Tender, a short comedy film, produced by Liz Tomkins for QPIX. Kinmonth was the music and sound designer for The Cube Globe, a digital interactive learning and display space created by the Queensland University of Technology (QUT) for the 2014 G20 Leaders Summit held in Brisbane. Kinmonth was the composer for the TV miniseries, Texas Rising: The Lost Soldier (2015). He also served as the music editor and composer of additional music for Vikings: Athelstan’s Journal.

As it is primarily a parody and satire site, Sarcastic Gamer's parody songs form an important part of its appeal. Solo dancing (outside the context of the big circle dance) is known in various places as buck dance, flatfooting, hoedown, jigging, sure- footing, and stepping. The names vary in meaning, and dancers do not always agree on their use. Buck dancing was the earliest combination of the basic shuffle and tap steps performed to syncopated rhythms in which accents are placed not on the straight beat, as with the jigs, clogs, and other dances of European origin, but on the downbeat or offbeat, a style derived primarily from the rhythms of African tribal music. Traditional Appalachian clogging is characterised by loose, often bent knees and a "drag-slide" motion of the foot across the floor, and is usually performed to old-time music.

In Sep 2012 Donnelly was named by the ITLG in the "Hollywood 50", honouring the most influential Irish or Irish American entertainment and technology executives in Hollywood. In 2013 Donnelly launched the All-'Merican Festival Fustercluck in Temecula, California. Fustercluck is described as a 5k adventure full of hilarious Hillbillies and Hipsters followed by an epic hoedown where many of the fellers from Deliverance and Duck Dynasty make an appearance. The first event featured a 5k adventure through wild Southern California forests being chased by crazed hillbillies, followed by a fun Redneck Games competition and festival featuring the Honky Tonk Hubcap Hurl, Bobbin' For Pigs Feet, Cornhole, Redneck Horseshoes, Mud Belly Flop Contest, White Trash Beer Pong, BBQ Cook Off, Live Americana, Bluegrass and Country Bands.

He later said, "I had my faithful roady Rocky tune the instrument to A 440 just prior to the audience coming in, but once the audience came into the auditorium and the temperature rose up then everything went out of tune." His willingness to experiment with the Moog led to unexpected results, such as the time he stumbled into the signature sound for "Hoedown", one of ELP's most popular tunes. He later said, "We'd started working on that arrangement and then I hit, I don't know what, I switched a blue button and I put a patch cord in there, but anyway 'whoooeee'." The so- called "Monster Moog", built from numerous modules, weighed , stood feet tall and took four roadies to move.

"Baroque Hoedown" is a song created by early Moog synthesizer pioneers (and frequent collaborators) Jean-Jacques Perrey and Gershon Kingsley, also known as Perrey and Kingsley. It was first released on the album Kaleidoscopic Vibrations: Electronic Pop Music From Way Out in 1967 and was once described as being a "harpsichord gone country". The composition later became the theme song for Disneyland's Main Street Electrical Parade in 1972 and all of its subsequent iterations around the world, as well as for Hong Kong Disneyland's Disney Paint the Night Parade and, for a time, Walt Disney World's Electrical Water Pageant. It was also incorporated into Disneyland's Light Magic, Paint the Night Electrical Parade and Remember... Dreams Come True as a tribute to the Main Street Electrical Parade.

About the time "The Savers" was being used on television, engineers with the Walt Disney Company were at work on a new parade at Disneyland Park, the "Main Street Electrical Parade". The idea was to cover floats with thousands of electronically controlled colored lights and to set the show to music. Paul Beaver and then later Disney musician Don Dorsey helped rework a Perrey-Kingsley composition called "Baroque Hoedown", an upbeat, almost sparkling number best described as "harpsichord gone country". It would become the underlying theme song of the parade for the next three decades at Disneyland, Magic Kingdom, Tokyo Disneyland, Disneyland Paris, Disney California Adventure Park, with newer arrangements still heard in updated versions of the Electrical Parade at the Magic Kingdom and Tokyo Disneyland.

Prachya graduated from Nakhon Ratchasima Technology College in Nakhon Ratchasima Province, Thailand, in 1985, majoring in architecture. He began his career in 1990, working as an art director and later as creative director at Packshot Entertainment, an advertising firm. He directed music videos and won several Best Music Video Awards at Thailand's Golden Television Awards. His first feature film was made in 1992 and called The Magic Shoes. It was followed in 1995 by Dark Side Romance, a karmic thriller-romance. By 1998, Open Maker Head and BaaRamEwe 1999 was concentrating on producing films, including the vampire movie Body Jumper, the action-comedy Heaven's Seven, the horror movie 999-9999, the musical Hoedown Showdown, the frankly sexual comedy Sayew and the arthouse drama Fake.

Led Zeppelin used the name of the house in the title of their songs: "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" (the name of the house being accidentally misspelled on the album cover), and "Bron-Yr-Aur". "Bron-Y-Aur Stomp" is a country music-inflected hoedown on Led Zeppelin III, in which Robert Plant sings about walking in the woods with Strider, his blue-eyed merle dog.

Prior to the production of The Living Desert, Disney was releasing his films through RKO Radio Pictures. But due to a long-frayed relation with the studio, which had little enthusiasm for the producer's documentary releases, Disney opted to sever his relation with RKO and create his own distribution subsidiary – Buena Vista Distribution, which he named after the street where his office was located. The Living Desert received some criticism for bringing unsubtle humor to its scenes of desert life – Bosley Crowther of The New York Times called Disney to task for adding jokey musical effects to several of the film's scenes, including hoedown music for a sequence involving a scorpion mating dance. Nonetheless, the film was a commercial success: the US$300,000 production grossed US$4,000,000 at the box office.

Then, Emerson improvises behind Lake's singing in the first 8 bars of the second "A" sections. A short piano interlude leads into a composed band jazz section where the theme Lake has previously sung is developed and expanded much further (on the original recording, another piano interlude leads into strumming the grand piano strings). The short Greg Lake folk-style acoustic guitar section that follows in the middle of the original recording, where Lake briefly switches from playing electric bass guitar, with Palmer playing water-like percussion sounds, then a rhythmic hoedown-like strummed guitar chord section, with hand-clapping on 2 and 4, followed by plucked guitar arpeggios, gives an idea of what the original style of song may have sounded like, before Emerson's arrangement of the majority of the piece. Then another piano interlude leads into a modal jazz band improvisation, followed by the "head out" and coda.

Rock critic Robert Christgau, writing for Rolling Stone magazine in 2007, called Younger Than Yesterday "the Byrds' first mature album, a blend of space-flight twang and electric hoedown infused with the imminent glow of 1967 yet underlined with crackling realism". Critic John Nork gave the album a glowing review on the Analogue Planet website, calling it "a scrumptious smorgasbord of eclectic musical styles and groundbreaking innovation", before concluding that "in every sense, Younger Than Yesterday is an utterly brilliant album, arguably the Byrds' best." Alan Bisbort, writing in the book Rhino's Psychedelic Trip, described Younger Than Yesterday as "an essential snapshot of an incense- scented, acid-drenched world in motion: a kaleidoscope whose every turn yielded some fantastic window on the age". Sarana VerLin has toured extensively throughout the Detroit/Ann Arbor area as well as touring Michigan, Florida, Canada, Chicago, New York City, Boston, Cleveland, Toledo, Ohio, and England. In 2009 she performed solo and with various musicians during the summer tour, performing at Metro Times Blowout, Hamtramck Blowout, Scarab Club Musings Series, Dunegrass, and Michigan Earth Day Festival as well as individual venues. In May 2010 she toured 2 weeks around Exeter with music partner Billy Brandt. Arriving back in the US in June to begin the heavy summer touring season, she performed solo, as a duo with Billy Brandt, or with full band lineup (Brandt on guitar/mandolin/vocals, John Holk on bass/vocals, Drew Howard on dobro/mandolin, Chris Degnore on guitar, and Todd Glass on drums.) Festivals included WYCD Downtown Hoedown, Mackinac Island Music Festival, Arts, Beats and Eats, Crazy Wisdom Concerts, and St. Dunstan's Cranbrook Concert Series.

Copland's fanfare was used in 1977 by British prog-rock band Emerson, Lake & Palmer on the album Works Volume 1. The track became one of the band's biggest hits when an edited version was released as a single that year. It peaked at No. 2 in the UK. Keith Emerson had long been an admirer of Copland's Americana style, previously using Copland's Hoedown on the band's Trilogy album in 1972. This version was played to start the medal ceremonies of the 2012 Olympic Games in London, as well as being used by English Football League Championship side, Aston Villa Football Club An excerpt of Fanfare for the Common Man was used to open the Rolling Stones Tour of the Americas '75, and their Tour of Europe '76 supporting their Black and Blue album. The excerpt was also included and credited as such on the band's 1977 Love You Live live album.

Jubilee USA with the Bob Bohm Trio, March 1960 In 1955, Brower became a regular performer on ABC- TV's Ozark Jubilee in Springfield, Missouri for several years, and in 1960, was playing with the Ft. Worth-based Bob Bohm Trio. He soon moved to Nashville, Tennessee and became a much sought-after session musician.. He accompanied, among others, Elvis Presley, Patsy Cline (viola), Roy Orbison, Marty Robbins, Loretta Lynn and Brenda Lee; in 1963, former Doughboy John "Knocky" Parker called Brower "one of the finest jazz violinists...[He] is now the leading hillbilly violinist in Nashville." In the summer of 1961, he appeared on NBC-TV's Five Star Jubilee. In 1962, "Cousin" Cecil Brower And His Square Dance Fiddlers released the album, America's Favorite Square Dances (Mercury MGS 27015, also issued on Smash SRS 67015 and Cumberland green label 29509); and in 1970, Cumberland issued the group's Old Fashion Country Hoedown (Cumberland 29500).

Trilogy, the band's third studio album, was recorded at Advision Studios with Offord between October 1971 and January 1972. Its cover art was designed by Storm Thorgerson and Aubrey Powell of Hipgnosis. "Hoedown" is an adaptation of Rodeo by Aaron Copland. Released in July 1972, Trilogy reached No. 2 in the UK and No. 5 in the US. "From the Beginning", an acoustic ballad featuring an extended synthesizer solo, was released as a single which reached No. 39 in the US. Lake has picked Trilogy as his favourite studio album by the band. The album was supported with a North American tour in March and April 1972 which included a spot at the Mar y Sol Pop Festival in Manatí, Puerto Rico on 3 April. Following dates across Europe, including their first in Italy, the band performed at the Concert 10 Festival at Pocono International Raceway in Long Pond, Pennsylvania on 9 July 1972.

Patrick Sarniak is an American musician, songwriter and actor from Detroit, Michigan. Sarniak is known for being a guitarist in the world music band Muruga Cosmic Boogie (originally known as Muruga & The Cosmic Hoedown Band), and for his collaborations with Muruga Booker and Tony "Strat" Thomas. Sarniak grew up in Dearborn, Michigan, and began playing guitar as a teenager, performing in many local bands through the years. In 2013, he began playing guitar with Muruga Cosmic Boogie, alongside Tony "Strat" Thomas. Patrick Sarniak has performed on stage or has been involved in studio recording projects that include David Winans II, Dwight Adams, Barry Harris, James Carter, Perry Robinson, Steven “Muruga” Booker, and George Clinton. He also performed on stage or has been in projects with members of Kid Rock, Public Enemy, Ted Nugent’s Amboy Dukes, Mitch Ryder’s Detroit and The Detroit Wheels, and various members of George Clinton's P-Funk All Stars.

Within a year, a recording contract was forged and with MCA's backing, World Entertainment War recorded their self-titled debut album at Pearlman's Alpha Omega Studios in Studio C of the Hyde Street Studios in San Francisco, as was specified in their MCA contract. Backing vocals were performed by Jonnie Axtell, Atom Ellis, Eugene "Bud" Harris, and Paul K. Johnson, II. Additional background vocals were provided by members of the diverse and loosely-knit team of occultists (Pagans, Druids, Ceremonialists, Goddess worshippers, and Faery- Folk) whose expertise Brezsny had recruited, and among whose often glaring doctrinal differences Brezsny had made peace, resulting in collaborative and highly theatrical rituals that became a signature of the band's iconoclastic live performances. "Imagine instead a pagan revival meeting mixed with a dance therapy session and a cynics' pep rally and a tribal hoedown and a lecture at the "Anarchists Just Wanna Have Fun" Think Tank". Mark Senasac engineered, mixed, and produced, with Ulrich Wild also engineering, and Stephen Marcussen did the mastering.

Nurmio started his musical career in the English language with American roots music, mostly country, folk and blues, in Dusty Ramblers and later on, during his solo career he has occasionally taken on an alter ego to more or less to go back to his roots in English. First it was Judge Bean, Jr, loosely inspired by a shady judge character in an old western movie, but it has since evolved into Judge Bone, by which name he has in recent years made two albums: Judge Bone & Doc Hill: Big Bear's Gate (a duo recording with his long time drummer Markku Hillilä on Bone Voyage, 2008) and in 2015 Tales of Judge Bone, vol 1 (Sony Music), which actually was credited to Tuomari Nurmio & Hoedown. The latter is a long time Finnish roots music band (Esa Kaartamo: voc, guitars; Mika Kuokkanen: voc, guitars; Ninni Poijärvi: violin, voc; Jarmo Nikku: guitars. mandolin, banjo; Olli Haavisto: steel-guitar, dobro, weissenborn; Masa Maijanen: bass; Topi Kurki: drums) that likes to feature outside singers and players to play the guest's music or common favourites.
