On December 1, 2010, Sandoval received his first Grammy nomination as a compiler and engineer for the Rhino release Where the Action Is! Los Angeles Nuggets 1965–1968. Under the moniker Andrew, Sandoval has issued four albums (From Me to You, Happy to Be Here, What's It All About and A Beautiful Story) and two EPs (Happily Ever After and Million Dollar Movie). Nathan Scott died of natural causes at his home in Sherman Oaks, California, on February 27, 2010, at the age of 94. He was survived by his son, Grammy-winning saxophonist Tom Scott; his second wife, Frances McCune Scott; his daughter, Linda Colley; his brother and two grandchildren. His first wife, Margery, died in 1995.

Hanky Panky was described in the Daily Telegraph as 'one of the most inventive striptease routines ever devised'. "Legend in My Mind" was recorded on April 25, 1972, during a session for 1972's Here I Am Again.

Marvin phones Dick to have one delivered, and Dick's suspicions are aroused when he sees that Marvin is sleeping on the couch. In 1991, they debuted with the mini album L, and later released thirteen singles and seven albums. Madonna recruited producer Patrick Leonard and engineer Bill Bottrell to help her with the project. Tim demands that the robot get up to his room immediately, to which the robot replies "You said it, baldy". The sounds of them engaging in hanky panky are heard as Graeme and Tim lament over where they went wrong as parents. The robot comes back down and Tim decides he needs to lay down the law. Sean Piccoli, from the Sun-Sentinel, praised the singer's ability to "summon the vampy humor of 'Hanky Panky'—a Bette Midler moment if ever [Madonna] had one". In May 2000, the song was performed by actress Alicia Witt on the third-season finale of the American television series Ally McBeal, titled "The Musical, Almost". An Indie cover version by the band Killer Nannies In America, was included on the 2000 tribute album The Material Girl: A Tribute to Madonna.

"Vogue" was the highest entry, peaking at number-one for 1 week in April; "Dear Jessie", "Hanky Panky" and "Justify My Love" were the other singles to reach the top 10. Rapper and DJ MC Hammer had three top-ten entries, including his biggest hit and signature song, "U Can't Touch This", which peaked at number 3 in August. Cliff Richard, Jimmy Somerville and Jive Bunny and the Mastermixers were the other artists to reach the top 10 with three singles in 1990. Beats International were one of a number of artists with two top-ten entries, including the number-one single "Dub Be Good to Me".

Shot in black-and-white, the video takes stylistic inspiration from the 1920s and 30s; in it, Madonna and her dancers can be seen voguing different choreographed scenes. Critics noted the way in which Madonna used her postmodern influence to expose an underground subcultural movement to the masses and for making the sex and gender roles ambiguous in its portrayal of people. The video has been ranked as one of the greatest of all times in different critic lists and polls, and won three awards at the 1990 MTV Video Music Awards, out of a total of nine nominations. The album's second single, "Hanky Panky", was released on June 30, 1990.

As an artist, Tudanger had releases on Mercury Records and Wes Farrell's Chelsea label; though well-received, these were not successful. His song "Let Me Be Forever," as recorded by Steve Feldman, became a #1 hit in several South American countries. The Definitive Rock Chorale was a studio group and a vehicle for the Rashkow/Greenwich writing team, and utilized the vocal talents of NYC "A List" background and jingle singers, including Ron Dante, Toni Wine, Jimmy Radcliffe, Tony Passalaqua, Cashman, Pistilli and West and Ellie Greenwich herself. Their release "Variations On A Theme Called Hanky Panky" charted and became a minor cult classic.

Box Emotions is the second studio album by Japanese pop-rock band Superfly, released on September 2, 2009. It debuted at the number-one spot on the Oricon weekly album charts, making Superfly the first female artist in six years, since Chitose Hajime, to have her first two albums debut at the top of the charts. For the Japanese iTunes Store Rewind of 2009, Box Emotions was the album of the year. "Hanky Panky" was sent to radio stations as a promo single, and "Haru no Maboroshi" was sold as an album preview and pre-order bonus on the iTunes Store; it is still available as a separate single through iTunes.

In 1976, he starred in the movie Mohammad, Messenger of God (also known as The Message) about the origin of Islam and the message of Muhammad, in which he played Muhammad's Ethiopian disciple Bilal al-Habashi. He appeared in the 1982 film Hanky Panky, and played Banda in the 1984 miniseries Master of the Game. He was not cast in Roots (1977), being considered insufficiently American, but secured a role in the sequel, Roots: The Next Generations (1979), playing an African interpreter. Sekka is widely known among science fiction fans for his role as Dr. Benjamin Kyle in the television series Babylon 5's pilot movie, The Gathering (1993).

In the U.S., Fernet-Branca is branded as a tribal rite of passage drink for craft bartenders, and has been referred to as "The Bartender’s Handshake".

Although the magazine that Mizer ran (Athletic Model Guide) took a liking to homosexual men, "who could disguise their interest as a fascination with physical culture." However, it ended up that the magazine additionally grabbed the attention of many young women as well.

Following its release, "Hanky Panky" was initially blacklisted at some radio stations when they faced objections from audiences about the lyrical content. Nevertheless, it debuted on the Billboard Hot 100 at number 40 the week of June 30, 1990, as "Vogue" was descending from the top ten. The single quickly climbed up the chart, ultimately peaking at number ten the week of July 28, 1990. It was eventually certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) on September 19, 1990, for shipments of 500,000 copies. Billboard ranked it at number 36 on their list of "Madonna's 40 Biggest Hits" on the Hot 100. In Canada, the song debuted at number 92 on the RPM Top Singles chart, and reached a peak of number 18 on the week of September 1, 1990.

The hour-long show, recorded in the US by disc jockey Jack Spector, was to be broadcast five evenings a week. The contract covered a two-year period and was worth over £10,000 to the station. By the end of the year, rumours began circulating about unrest in the PWL camp and, next year, Matt Aitken would be the first to depart. The continued success of Kylie, and the Australian soap opera's Neighbours on BBC 1 and Home and Away on ITV, saw more actors releasing singles this year in the hope of replicating the success of Kylie and Jason Donovan. The most successful of these was Craig McLachlan (who notably appeared in both series) and his band Check 1–2 who scored a number 2 in the spring with "Mona" and went Top 20 with its follow-up, "Amanda". Madonna scored her 7th number 1 single with "Vogue", from her hit album I'm Breathless which made No. 2, charting in the same position as her follow-up single "Hanky Panky".

With no medical evidence to base their case on, O'Brien, Thompson and Kincaid hire Cleveland's best private detective, Chester Purkey (Cliff Osmond), to keep Hinkle under constant surveillance. However, Gingrich sees Purkey entering the apartment building across the street and lets Hinkle know they are being watched and recorded - and after Sandy arrives, warns him not to indulge in any hanky panky with her. He proceeds to feed misinformation to Purkey; he incorporates the "Harry Hinkle Foundation", a non-profit charity to which all the proceeds of any settlement are to go, above and beyond the medical expenses. When Sandy questions Gingrich about this in private, he tells her that it is just a scam to put pressure on the insurance company to settle, and that there will be enough money in the settlement for everyone.

Rosenblatt was born in Brooklyn, New York, and started singing and playing guitar in his teens. In 1961, he was introduced to song plugger Sid Prosen, who in turn introduced him to young songwriter Paul Simon, then using the pseudonym Jerry Landis. There she meets a fellow writer, Jeff Barry, and Gus Sharkey, a music producer (in the vein of Phil Spector). Despite skepticism from Gus, Ellie writes and records her first hit single. (‘’Why Do Lovers Break Each Other’s Hearts?’’) At an office party celebrating her hit single, Ellie and Jeff meet again and begin flirting with each other. (‘’Today I Met The Boy I’m Gonna Marry’’) The office party culminates into a huge dance party, with each side singing about the opposite sex (‘’I Wanna Love Him So Bad/Do Wah Diddy’’). Ellie and her friends reflect on Ellie’s first date with Jeff and what their future holds. (‘’And Then He Kissed Me’’) On their second date, Ellie believes her and Jeff are going all the way, but Jeff’s intention was only to co-write music with her. (‘’Hanky Panky’’) Jeff and Ellie get engaged despite objections, (‘’Not Too Young To Get Married’’) and they elope a few months later. (‘’Chapel Of Love’’).

The band played several concerts but never recorded (a conscious decision by Ryder Prangley to 'eliminate any commercial expectations'). During this time Ryder Prangley acted in the pilot for the comedy movie Big FM, playing the part of a Welsh glam rock DJ and also moved into music production, producing the first two singles by My Passion ("Bitter Too" and "Hot in the Doll's House"), the first single "Diamonds" by Lilygun, the double A-side single "Straight To Video" / "Marlborough Road" for Jonny Cola & the A-Grades, amongst others. He was also a member of Paul St Paul and the Apostles led by Paul St Paul, alias Xavior Roide, previously frontman of the Romo band DexDexTer, who had supported the Witches on tour in 2005 as a solo vocal/piano act. He also became involved in London's East End cabaret scene, regularly performing at Hanky Panky Cabaret where he invented the 'sans bouche' mime style after being drafted into a production of The Importance of Being Earnest at the last minute and not having time to learn the lines.

South Front of West Wycombe Park in 2014 West Wycombe Park was built in the 18th century by Francis Dashwood, 11th Baron le Despencer, who was from non-aristocratic family that had made its fortune in trade. He had visited France and Italy on the Grand Tour and was a founder of the Society of Dilettanti, as well as being a freemason, a founder of the Divan Club, and a member of the Hellfire Club, whose members no longer feared eternal damnation, dressed as monks and nuns, and engaged in sexual "hanky panky", in caves on the estate after using Medmenham Abbey, that would have meant jail or being burned at the stake for their grandparents and great- grandparents, and that permissiveness would have meant social ostracism for their grandchildren. Now, thousands of people visit the caves. Dashwood could be a serious churchman and sought to compile a simplified, more rational Book of Common Prayer, in collaboration with Benjamin Franklin, that book being widely used by the Episcopal Church in the United States.

The Tommy James and the Shondells version of "Hanky Panky" became a Number One hit in July 1966, shortly before the release of this album; when originally released by the Raindrops, it was a very different song with a slower and more sensual beat. Cool Jerk – which is, incidentally, one of the few covers recorded by the Go-Go's – was a popular pop and R&B; hit that was released by the Capitols in July 1966, again within weeks of the release of this album. Another cover, "(Just Like) Romeo and Juliet" was a 1964 hit by the Reflections; another version of the song by Michael and the Messengers was included on the original Nuggets: Original Artyfacts from the First Psychedelic Era, 1965-1968 compilation album. One of the lesser known covers on the album, "Wine Wine Wine" was written in 1962 by The Nightcaps; a version that was recorded by Bobby Fuller several years before his smash hit "I Fought the Law" was included on Pebbles, Volume 2.
