Ninja Sex Party (often abbreviated as NSP) is an American musical comedy duo consisting of singer Dan Avidan and keyboardist Brian Wecht. They formed in 2009 in New York City and are currently based in Los Angeles. They are also known as two thirds of the video game-based musical trio Starbomb, together with frequent collaborator Arin Hanson. Avidan joined Hanson's YouTube Let's Play webseries Game Grumps as co-host in 2013.

The plot is set in Britain at the end of the 21st Century and dissolves around an experimental type of robot that can think for itself, EGR3 (called Eager). Eager learns by experience as a human does, is intellectually curious and capable of emotion. He can feel wonder, excitement and loss. His inventor sends him as an assistant to an old-fashioned robot, Grumps, who acts as butler to the Bell family.

On June 25, 2013 it was announced that Jafari had left Game Grumps in order to focus on JonTron, and was replaced by Ninja Sex Party singer Dan Avidan on the same day. The announcement was met with backlash by certain fans for its sudden and unexpected announcement without any lead-up, as well as the channel announcing the debut of the spin-off series, Steam Train, on the same day that Jafari's departure was disclosed.

By 2016, Morrow became intertwined with competitive gaming, and next served as host and video game journalist, for Bleacher Report's daily esports news show, Estream. From 2015 to 2017, Morrow teamed up with Jesse Cox to create, develop and executive produce a single camera sitcom about esports called, Good Game. Their original treatment was produced into a six-episode scripted series in 2017 as a YouTube Original, by Dan Harmon's Starburns Industries, and in association with Game Grumps.

Specialized in particle physics, his work included research on string theory, supersymmetry, and quantum field theory. He retired in 2015, choosing to join Game Grumps while focusing on his musical career. He is also the co-creator of The Story Collider, a science-based story telling podcast recorded in front of a live audience. In Ninja Sex Party, Wecht plays the character of "Ninja Brian", an uncommunicative, homicidal masked ninja, in both live shows and music videos.

Though much-loved, Grumps is running down and can no longer be repaired. Mr. Bell works for the all-powerful technocratic corporation, LifeCorp, who supply the robots which cater to every human need. His children Gavin and Fleur learn of an underground group which opposes LifeCorp, and there is danger of a robot rebellion brewing. The ultra-high-tech, eerily human BDC4 robots are behaving suspiciously and the Bell children and Eager are drawn into a great adventure.

Schneider is the official celebrity spokesperson for the Taiwan Tourism Bureau and the Ten Ren Tea company in Taipei. Schneider was spokesperson for State Farm Insurance, but was dropped in 2014 due to his anti-vaccination views. In May 2016, Schneider was featured as a special guest on the Let's Play webseries Game Grumps, alongside his wife Patricia, commentating over Midway's Mortal Kombat Trilogy. They reappeared on the show in November 2017, then commentating over Konami's Contra.

Jonathan Aryan Jafari (; born March 24, 1990), better known by his Internet pseudonym JonTron, is an American comedian, reviewer, and YouTuber. He is best known for his titular YouTube web series JonTron, where he reviews and parodies video games, movies and other media. Jafari is also the co-creator and former co-host of the Let's Play webseries Game Grumps, and co-created the video game entertainment website Normal Boots. , his YouTube channel JonTronShow has 6.4 million subscribers and 1.04 billion views.

Starbomb is an American musical-comedy group composed of Dan Avidan and Brian Wecht of musical-comedy duo Ninja Sex Party together with Flash animator and Internet personality Arin Hanson. The songs of Starbomb consist of video game parodies; Avidan provides sung vocals, Hanson provides rapping vocals, and Wecht performs instruments. All three are also known as a part of YouTube Let's Play web series Game Grumps. To date the group has released three studio albums, Starbomb, Player Select and The TryForce.

McLoughlin toured throughout September–October 2017, in the US with the How Did We Get Here tour, and then returned to the UK and Europe to tour with the Game Grumps for the Ready Player 3 tour. In January 2018, it was announced McLoughlin would produce exclusive content for Twitch as part of a multi-year deal with Disney’s Digital Network. In February 2018, McLoughlin released dates for a US and Canada run of the How Did We Get Here tour.

Season 6 featured Hannah Hart, Daniel Radcliffe, Felix Kjellberg, Jamie Spafford and Barry Taylor from Sorted Food and Lilly Singh ("IISuperwomanII"). Season 7 featured Lady Antebellum, Rosanna Pansino, Kaelem, Lindsey Stirling, Joseph Garrett, Barry Taylor and Ben Ebbrell from Sorted Food, Mamrie Hart, Zach King, Amy Schumer and Bill Hader. Season 8 featured Anthony Padilla and Ian Hecox from Smosh, Shay Mitchell, Grace Helbig, Chester See, Colleen Ballinger, Dan Avidan and Arin Hanson from Game Grumps, Steve Zaragoza and Lee Newton. Season 9 featured Jenn McAllister, Kevin Smith, Redfoo, Hank Green and Tony Hale.

In 2013, Hanson performed the introduction to a version of "Knight in Shining Armour" by Dougal & Gammer released as part of the compilation Clubland X-Treme Hardcore 9. In 2013, Hanson, along with Game Grumps co-host and Ninja Sex Party singer- songwriter Dan Avidan and instrumentalist Brian Wecht, formed the band Starbomb. They released their first album, named Starbomb in December 2013, which went on to become No. 1 on the Billboard Comedy Charts. Starbomb went on to release their second album one year later December 2014, titled Player Select.

Avidan also joined animator Ross O'Donovan as co-host of the show Steam Train where both play PC games. This expanded the channel's output to three videos a day: two standard Game Grumps episodes and a single Steam Train episode. Steam Train later expanded to include Hanson as a co-host at times, as well as featuring one of the group's editors, Barry Kramer, and Hanson's wife Suzy Berhow. The expansion also introduced a new Steam Rolled series, where four-player games (not necessarily PC games) are played by the group.

Hart Pomerantz is a Canadian lawyer and television personality, best known for his collaboration with Saturday Night Live producer Lorne Michaels in The Hart and Lorne Terrific Hour, and to Canadian audiences for his many appearances as a regular on This Is the Law, where he brought a unique sense of irreverent humour to the show along with his legal knowledge. He also hosted the 1974 quiz show Double Up and the short-lived 1998 Prime talk show Grumps. His brother, Earl Pomerantz, was also known for television comedy.

"Concert Interruptus" develops the characters of Luke and Paris, both of whom were previously "grumps with rare moments of humanity". Along with the following episode, "That Damn Donna Reed", it advances the relationship between Lorelai and Luke in a way that previous episodes did not. However, the main focus of the episode is Paris' growth; Paris was previously only seen as a bully, with the exception of her storyline in "Paris is Burning". This episode is part of the development that leads Rory and Paris to become friends.

Never Give Up is a 2D platformer developed by Massive Monster and Tasselfoot and published by Armor Games on August 13, 2019. The game follows a stick figure man named Blue who awakes in a strange facility and tries to escape it. The main gameplay consists of several level "sets", each of which contain several increasingly difficult iterations on the same level. The game is a reboot of the Give Up series, also published by Armor Games, and includes full voice acting by Arin Hanson of Game Grumps.

He sees a humpback whale dramatically breach the surface. Ben remembers that his father had said to him as a child that anyone who searched for Grumps would "know him when you see him"; Ben is satisfied that he has, and returns home. He and Samantha discuss his prospects and their impending breakup, and he goes home to see his family. The final sequence reveals the movie's narrator (Campbell Scott) recording the final chapter of an audio book, revealed to be One Week by Ben Tyler, a memoir of his motorcycle trip.

In September 2012, Barry Kramer was brought onto the show as an editor. Hanson and Jafari worked on the show together until June 25, 2013, when Jafari announced he would be leaving the show due to desires to focus on his own show. Many fans were upset by Jafari's departure from Game Grumps, with many expressing disappointment in the decision's last-minute announcement, as well as the channel's decision to announce the beginning of Steam Train on the same day. After Jafari's departure, Ninja Sex Party vocalist Dan Avidan succeeded him as co-host of the main show.

Because of the controversial nature of the game, it was quickly popularized by gaming streamers and influencers such as the Game Grumps, PewDiePie, Jacksepticeye, NerdCubed, MattShea, and others. The game holds a very high rating on Steam, with an 87% "very positive" overall rating as of November 2019. The game so far has few reviews by critics, John Walker of Rock, Paper, Shotgun named the game as "Worst Game of the Year" for 2017 citing issues of misogyny. Mark Steighner of Darkstation criticized the game as being "a juvenile take on sexuality, liberal profanity, and objectification of women".

In summer 2013, Avidan began making comments about creating a new music project with Wecht and Hanson. The project wasn't officially announced until December 2, 2013, when the group released a preview of their song "I Choose You to Die" on Ninja Sex Party's official YouTube channel. They also announced that their first album, the self-titled Starbomb, would be released only two weeks later on December 17, 2013. Leading up to the album's launch date, the group released further previews on the Ninja Sex Party and Game Grumps YouTube channels, the latter of which was hosted by Avidan and Hanson.

Brian Alexander Wecht, also known by his character name Ninja Brian, is an American musician, Internet personality and theoretical physicist. He is best known as a member of comedy musical duo Ninja Sex Party and video game-based comedy music trio Starbomb. He is additionally a member of the affiliated Let's Play webseries Game Grumps, all three alongside Dan Avidan. Wecht originally worked as a theoretical physicist, and notably held research positions at Harvard University, the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, the Institute for Advanced Study, the University of Michigan, and the Queen Mary University of London.

Episodes usually consist of two hosts or more, playing a video game, featuring their commentary, experience with (and opinions of) the chosen game, as well as related and unrelated discussions, along with stories from their lives. Many of the games played on the show are sent in by fans, who mail in games to the Grumps’ PO box in Glendale, California. The channel previously uploaded two or three 10-minute episodes on average each day, but changed to having one longer 30-minute episode each day. Lengthier games often result in ongoing series, which continue airing until completion, unless ending early in favor of beginning a new series.

He released a video 5 days later on June 24 titled "update" announcing the news and that he would not be able to make videos for a while. Two days later on June 26, Fischbach released a video titled "Special Message from Miranda's Dad", where Mark talked more about Miranda and Miranda's dad, Michael, thanking Fischbach's fanbase. In October 2019, Fischbach announced a new Choose Your Own Adventure story similar to 2017's A Date With Markiplier, a YouTube Originals production titled A Heist With Markiplier. Produced by Fischbach and Rooster Teeth, this series contains 31 possible endings and stars other YouTubers such as Rosanna Pansino, Matthew Patrick, and Game Grumps.

Of the entrants, two winners would be selected, one from the male entrants and other from the female entrants. On November 2, 2018, it was announced that streamer and influencer 'Lety Does Stuff' and the members of Game Grumps, Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan, were selected as the winners. On April 11, 2019 Eek! Games announced the winners of their indie music artist contest. Popskyy and his song “FUNKBOX” was the winner, along with special mentions to Fokushi and the song “Dreamer”, Treclar and the song “Whip-its”, Kitanic Demon and the song “Chillax with KitanicDemon” and Fletnyx and the song “Chocolate Chip Cookies.

In June 2017 Rooster Teeth launched its own podcast network, called The Roost, representing creators such as h3h3Productions, Game Grumps, Shane Dawson, Getting Doug With High by Doug Benson, Tiny Meat Gang by Cody Ko and The Valleyfolk by Joseph Bereta, Elliott Morgan, Lee Newton and Steve Zaragoza, among others. In July 2018, The Roost added The Last Podcast on the Left, hosted by Ben Kissel, Marcus Parks, and Henry Zebrowski. On September 5, 2018 it was revealed that The Roost would also support both current and upcoming podcasts from The Beam, another podcast network, as part of a partnership between Rooster Teeth and Hello Sunshine.

Starbomb was a very hinted-at project with leaks and rumors circulating in June and July 2013 shortly after Avidan joined the online Let's Play webseries Game Grumps. It was half-confirmed by Avidan during his guest appearance on the July 12, 2013, stream of Polaris video gaming show Friendzone!, stating that he was thinking of names for a new music project he was starting with Brian Wecht, his partner in Ninja Sex Party. Due to the majority of the first Starbomb album's criticism being aimed at its constant use of extremely sexual lyrics, Player Select takes a different approach by severely reducing the amount of sexuality in its lyrics.

In Whoville each Halloween, a "Sour-Sweet Wind" blows and a chain of events causes the Gree-Grumps and Hakken-Krakks to arouse the Grinch into descending to Whoville in his paraphernalia wagon and wreaking havoc in the town on "Grinch Night." All of Whoville dreads the smell of the wind as an omen, and everyone retreats to their home as the whole village goes into lockdown. Euchariah, a young Who with astigmatism, goes out to the "euphemism" and blows away. He runs into the Grinch as he is picking brickles out of his fur, the end result of a failed attempt to hunt down the last Wuzzy Woozoo.

Burnie Burns confirmed in What's Trending that the series would continue with Season 11, which premiered on June 14, 2013; and Season 11 was later followed by Season 12 and Season 13. In 2016, Season 14 was released as the first anthology season, consisting of several canon and non-canon stories created by in-house writers as well as several outside writers; Freddie Wong of RocketJump, Chris Roberson (creator of iZOMBIE), Ben Singer and Chad James of Death Battle, Ernest Cline (author of Ready Player One and Armada), Arin Hanson and Dan Avidan of Game Grumps, etc. Season 15 debuted in 2017, continuing the canonical story following the events of Season 13.

Arin Joseph Hanson (born January 6, 1987), also known by his Internet pseudonym Egoraptor, is an American Internet personality, animator, and voice actor. He is well known for his Internet animations, as well as being the co- founder and co-star of the popular YouTube Let's Play webseries Game Grumps. He is also a member of the video game-based parody musical trio Starbomb. Hanson has created numerous animated web series on his Egoraptor YouTube channel, including The Awesome Series, in which he parodies various video game franchises, including Pokémon, Metal Gear, and Ninja Gaiden, as well as Sequelitis, a series of animated video essays in which he critically and humorously compares the quality of a video game and one of its sequels.

Fischbach is primarily known for his playthroughs of indie and horror games, including the Five Nights at Freddy's series, Amnesia: The Dark Descent and its sequel, Garry's Mod, Happy Wheels, Surgeon Simulator, SCP – Containment Breach and Slender: The Eight Pages, among others. Fischbach has collaborated on sketch comedy and gaming videos with a number of fellow YouTubers, including Crankgameplays, Jacksepticeye, LordMinion777, Muyskerm, PewDiePie, Matthias, Game Grumps, Cyndago, Yamimash, Jacksfilms, CaptainSparklez, Egoraptor and LixianTV, who currently works as his editor. He has also collaborated with celebrities such as Jack Black and Jimmy Kimmel. He has had acting appearances in TomSka's asdfmovie series, Smosh: The Movie, Disney XD's Gamer's Guide to Pretty Much Everything, YouTube Rewinds 2015 and 2016 and Five Nights at Freddy's: The Musical.

Some of the more popular gamers that create these videos have become internet celebrities and seen as a type of "professional fan", according to Maker Studios' Dar Nothaft; other gamers tune into these videos to get a different perspective on games rather than professional review sources. Felix Kjellberg, known by his online pseudonym PewDiePie, has monetized his "let's play" videos which reach over 100 million subscribers and over 25 billion views, . PewDiePie's influence on game sales has been considerable, and games that are featured in let's plays on his channel frequently see large boosts in sales, creating what is called "the PewDiePie effect". Some other people or groups include Achievement Hunter, The Yogscast, Smosh Games, Jacksepticeye, Markiplier, DanTDM, Game Grumps, Stampylonghead, and Machinima.com.

In 2016, Morrow and Cox made a deal to develop and executive produce, Good Game, as a six-part series for YouTube Originals, with Dan Harmon's Starburns Industries and popular YouTube channel, Game Grumps. The project was announced at VidCon 2017 by YouTube CEO Susan Wojcicki. Filming took place in Los Angeles, California, in 2017, with an ensemble cast starring Arin Hanson, Dan Avidan, Michele Morrow, Jade Payton, Rahul Abburi and Michael Marisi Ornstein; co-starring Oliver Cooper and Jesse Cox. Morrow and Cox encouraged the casting of professional gamers, Internet celebrities, and gaming enthusiasts in guest roles, including, Terry Crews and Naomi Kyle as the Killcore shout-casters, a cameo by Dan Harmon, and members of esports organization, Counter Logic Gaming, including Stephanie Harvey, who appeared as the nemesis team.

Wecht appeared in an episode of Hot Pepper Game Review episode on September 16, 2013, "reviewing" the video game Dark under his Ninja Brian persona after eating a "very spicy" chili pepper; the episode is a joke, as Ninja Brian simply stares at the camera in silence for the entire episode, not blinking a single time in almost four minutes. Although his mouth is not visible, Wecht confirmed that he did eat the pepper while filming. He also appeared in the fourth episode of the second season of Child Genius in 2014, having set questions about string theory for the participants, and reacting to their answers. He voiced the character of Quizzmaster Quinn in the video game Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator, a 2017 visual novel video game made by members of Game Grumps.

The campaign reached this goal in late March and went on to collect a total of $311,502, fulfilling all announced stretch goals for additional features, by its end on April 13. Additional features earned through Kickstarter stretch goals include a four-player battle mode, a mission-based challenge mode, an additional mode that swaps all the characters' genders, and additional playable story campaigns for three boss characters. To promote the Kickstarter, Yacht Club distributed copies of their initial Penny Arcade Expo demo to several prominent gaming personalities on YouTube, including Two Best Friends Play and Game Grumps. Shovel Knight features a chiptune soundtrack in the style of older video game titles from the NES era and were composed by Jake Kaufman, with two contributions by Mega Man composer Manami Matsumae.

Suzy Berhow (left), Arin Hanson (center, bottom), Barry Kramer (center, top), and Ross O'Donovan, pictured in 2015, are all members of Game Grumps On January 6, 2017, it was announced that the show's middle slot would no longer upload on a consistent schedule. While Steam Train and Grumpcade were not canceled, the format was changed so that they would be released only upon the creators' discretion on an occasional basis. A few substitute shows were created to fill the empty slot on certain days. These include Doodle Doods, an artistic show hosted by O'Donovan and Chris O'Neil, The G Club, a media-centric podcast show, and Dragons in Places, an audio-only podcast detailing a Dungeons & Dragons campaign. In December 2017, Kramer announced that he would be departing from the show to focus on his own pursuits.

Wreden stated "the best way to convey what our game is about is through an additional piece of content, completely separate from the main game, that carries the style and tone of the main game without actually spoiling it." This includes a section modeled after a waiting room, which was one of the first elements designed for the demo. According to Wreden, "It catalyzed this sense that even very mundane tasks like sitting in a waiting room are fun if they're not what you're ‘supposed' to be doing". Wreden had sent personalized versions of the demos to Game Grumps and Adam Sessler of Revision3 for Let's Play versions, each including a few re-recorded lines directed at these players; Wreden considered that based on the higher-than-average viewcounts for these videos that this helped towards marketing of the game, and that the demo received similar coverage as the full title, effectively helping to generate media buzz equal to two game titles for the additional two months of work it took to create the specialized demo.
