Madame Giry walks alone at night on a desolate pier, reminiscing about an amusement park called Phantasma, Coney Island's former "City of Wonders". The ghost of Miss Fleck, a freak show performer who once worked with Giry at the park, appears out of the darkness ("Prologue"). When Fleck urges Giry to recall the "good old days" and blames her for "what happened", the audience is suddenly transported back in time as the old, tattered billboards are restored, the lights of Phantasma are illuminated, and an assortment of the park's performers appear in a dreamlike sequence ("The Coney Island Waltz/That's the Place That You Ruined, You Fool!"). It is now ten years after the events at the Paris Opera House and the setting is Phantasma on Coney Island in New York.

An excited group of vacationers arrive, overwhelmed at all that Phantasma has to offer. They speculate about the park's reclusive, masked owner and creator, a wealthy tycoon known only as Mr. Y ("Heaven by the Sea"). Meg Giry, Christine Daae's friend from the Opera who was somewhat more intrigued by than afraid of the Phantom in their youth, is now a headlining burlesque performer at Phantasma. Madame Giry, her mother, and the Opera's former ballet mistress is now a business manager and choreographer for the show.

Coming out of the loser's bracket, Garireo's final match against Dogura's Azrael was considered highly impressive by journalist. Ehren is the son of the former Chancellor Ehren Furst and is the nephew of Chancellor Kent, as well as the Lord of Toeu. He was the first knight to meet Yuna, and not knowing her to be the Queen mistakes her for a hopeful knight. He calls her an idiot, and informs her that she is trespassing on the Hwerusute family's lands. After discovering her true identity, he helps with her studies of the law and the language of Phantasma.

Relius's main goal is to recreate the world to his desires, despising a world where the Master Unit controls everything. Though his plans are stopped in Chrono Phantasma and he becomes despondent for a time, Relius quickly recovers and decides to watch how the end of things will play out. He grooms Carl as his successor over the course of the series, and at the end of Central Fiction decides to leave the real world and enter the Boundary. His current fate is unknown.

When Yuna Lee's mother moves to Germany to pursue a music degree, Yuna is left to stay with her father, a university professor, and her three older brothers, who are overprotective of her. Rieno makes a deal with Yuna that, because he has saved her life, she must become his queen. Indebted to him for saving her life, Yuna is torn between her normal world back home and life as Phantasma's Queen.

She does this by escaping the palace with her Guardian Knights (minus an injured Ehren) in the middle of the night disguised as traveling friends. She also commissions to build schools and hospitals in order to improve the living conditions of her subjects. #Her political and romantic situations seem to mirror those of Queen Elizabeth I of the Great Britain in the history of the real world. :Yuna also goes so far as to journey with the both her Guardian knights and all of the other knights of Phantasma (including the infamous Rieno) into the Forest of Darkness, claiming that wherever her knights go, she will go personally, too.

Hemel, the maker of the sleeping pill that allows the citizens of Phantasma to sleep through the long winters between queens, is Schiller's grandfather; Schiller is a skillful healer, himself. Schiller is expected to be able to woo Yuna skillfully, but has held back from doing so, so far. Rieno gets Schiller to reveal that he is the descendant of the bloodline of Light (Rieno himself has extremely Dark blood), which is connected to the people of Light, who appear as glowing spirits and are very beautiful and elfin in appearance. Yuna trusts him the most out of all her guardian knights because he reminds her of her brothers.

He has a romantic fascination with Litchi, always willing to go charging in headlong if he sees someone making her upset. He is overzealous in every way, subtlety not usually at the forefront of his mind (this is only reinforced where his Astral Heat in Continuum Shift destroys almost all of his clothes), however his fiery spirit and will have earned him the respect of a few characters, most notably Hakumen. He also wants Ragna's bounty to rebuild the glory of Ikaruga. In Chrono Phantasma, it is revealed that Bang's giant nail is the Nox Nyctores, Phoenix: Rettenjō (鳳翼・烈天上 Hōyoku: Rettenjō), which greatly shocks him, and he decides to seek more answers about his weapon.

In Continuum Shift, Tsubaki learns from Hazama that she was originally Jin's secretary in the previous timelines before Noel took her place in the current. This revelation, along with Hazama's goading, leads her to hate Noel due to the perception that she took everything from her, though Hazama intentionally did not tell her that she died in the previous timelines. In the end, Tsubaki was placed under the control of Izanami through the Mind Eater spell, turning her into a cold and emotionless enforcer of Izanami's will. However, in Chrono Phantasma, Tsubaki is freed thanks to the efforts of Jin, Noel, and Makoto and is able to unlock the true power of her weapon, Izayoi.

Initially, it appears that Hazama has no will of his own and is simply a body and alias for Terumi, yet Chrono Phantasma reveals that the two share control of the body. Whenever Terumi is in control of Hazama's body, he discards the former's fedora hat and spikes up his hair, while gaining a manic look to his face. In Central Fiction, after separating from Terumi following a near-fatal clash with Platinum the Trinity, Hazama has decided to no longer be Terumi's vessel and wants to pursue his own desires to comprehend the emotions of others.

The BlazBlue he possesses is only a fragment of an imitation; the true Grimoire is actually destined to be wielded by Noel Vermillion. In Continuum Shift, Ragna is given the Idea Engine by a dying Lambda which enabled him to access the true Azure. He realizes that Saya is possessed by Izanami and decides to give up vengeance to protect his loved ones in Chrono Phantasma, and later in Central Fiction decides to protect the girl inside Amaterasu from the Entitled-people whose dreams are strong enough to remake the world. He and Jin (including his future-past counterpart Hakumen) soon learned that Noel/Mu can be used to recreate Saya, whose soul remains in her old body, possessed by Izanami.

At the end of the series, Lambda is shown to have become a nun alongside Noel, and cares for a catatonic Nu. Lambda is in many ways a foil to Nu: she is calm, soft-spoken, and quiet, and while she loves Ragna like Nu does, she wishes to protect and aid him rather than murder him like Nu does. While Nu gradually becomes more aggressive and insane throughout the series, Lambda becomes more determined and stable, and in the end is shown to be able to live a normal life. When being re-introduced in Chrono Phantasma Extend, Lambda became her own character to differentiate from Nu’s play style, although most of her moves remain the same as Nu’s.

She was also the caretaker of Ragna, Jin, and Saya, and was killed by Yūki Terumi's attack on the church in 2192. Despite this, in Chrono Phantasma, Kokonoe makes a copy of Celica's soul, using a time when Celica temporarily entered the Boundary and placing it in a cloned body, reincarnating her in the modern time as a time-displaced being called a 'Chronophantasma.' However, this Celica has a short lifespan as she was created for the sole purpose of activating 'Kushinada's Lynchpin,' A weapon capable of disrupting the flow of seithr, before her status as a Chronophantasma makes her fade away. Due to another method being found, Celica is able to remain in the present for longer than expected.

Their first performance was at the Baker's Arms hotel in Abbotsford in April 1992. During late 1992 to early the following year Turner's living room was used as a recording studio, Scuzz Studio, for the group's first cassette album. Eight of its twelve tracks were produced and engineered by Turner, with the other four tracks by Julian Wu. Turner runs Dirty Three's record label, Anchor & Hope Records and has provided the cover art for all of their major albums after the first. Since 2003 Turner has had his artwork displayed in galleries in Australia, UK, US, Italy and Ireland. Outside of his work for Dirty Three, Turner issued his debut solo album, Tren Phantasma, on US label, Drag City, in September 1997.

Scooby-Doo, Shaggy, and Scrappy-Doo are on their way to Miss Grimwood's Finishing School for Girls, where they have been hired as gym teachers. Once there however, they find that it is actually a school for girl ghouls. The pupils include Sibella, the daughter of Count Dracula; Elsa Frankenteen, the daughter of Frankenstein's monster; Winnie, daughter of the Wolfman; Phantasma (usually called Phanty for short), the ghostly daughter of a phantom; and Tanis, the daughter of the Mummy – all parodies/tributes to the Universal Monsters of the 1930s–40s. Other residents of the school are a floating white hand; an octopus who is the school's butler; Legs, a spider that helps with the upcoming volleyball match; Miss Grimwood, the headmistress; and her diminutive pet dragon Matches.

Meg brandishes a gun to make the Phantom finally pay attention to her as she describes the lengths the Girys have gone to over the years to ensure the success of Phantasma, including Meg's offering herself to men in high places to "grease the wheels of [the Phantom's] high-flying deals". The Phantom apologizes for his failure to truly see Meg and her contributions, but when he unthinkingly mentions Christine, Meg becomes enraged and accidentally fires the gun, shooting Christine. The Phantom rushes to Christine and orders Madame Giry to go for help while Meg looks on in stunned horror at what she has done. Christine reveals to Gustave that the Phantom is his real father and she tells the Phantom that her love for him will never die.

By the following year, which coincided with his complete dropping out of the DJMag's list of the top 100 DJ's, the first signs of his change of heart in the musical style began to flourish, which had become more apparent over the course of time since and transformed into the new representative standard of his current works, as depicted in "Disco Davai" among such, which bear no resemblance to what he originally was recognized for. At the end of 2014, Leon started working on his third album under his new alias WSTLNDR. The 12-track work, called Atmostopia, features his complete return to his original creative roots which were not seen in his repertoire since the release of Phantasma. The album was released on Black Hole on September 14, 2015.

It was during his duel against EVE that Yuya regain his memories of his brothers when they were separate beings while managing to overwhelm her with renewed resolve and defeat Reiji before they, Ren, and Issac depart to confront G.O.D's creator. Yuya initially uses a Performapal/Odd-Eyes deck with his ace monsters being Odd-Eyes Phantom Dragon and Odd-Eyes Phantasma Dragon, later changing to a Four Dimensions Dragons Deck with all four dragons and God-Eyes Phantom Dragon as his ace monsters. ; :Pretending to be one of Yuya's alternate personalities, being serious-minded compared to Yuya, Yuto is a duelist from future who uses Xyz Summons.

After separating from Hazama in Chrono Phantasma, his former host nearly killed by Platinum, Terumi survived being destroyed by Hakumen by using self-observation as revealed in Central Fiction along with using the fear and hate of others to maintain himself temporary. With only a week left before he dissipates, unable to reclaim Hazama within the Embyro, Terumi raids the tomb of Clavis Alucard to acquire a relic known as Hihirokane that was meant to destroy him. Terumi bides his time until Noel absorbs and imprisons Izanami into her soul and becomes Saya again to force Hakumen's soul out of the Susanoo Unit and merge back into his body. Restored to his true self, Terumi absorbs Saya (Noel and Izanami together) to access the Azure as he attempts to wipe out all of existence.

Both Meg and her mother are eager to curry favor with their employer to secure their future; as Meg prepares for a performance as "the ooh la la girl", she wonders whether it will please him ("Only for Him/Only for You"). After the show, Madame Giry informs Meg that she has arranged for her to meet an important client, suggesting that Meg has been covertly performing sexual favors for key individuals, in the interest of political and financial expediency for Phantasma. In a dark, private lair in a tower high above the park, the Phantom (now revealed as Phantasma's owner and mastermind) interacts with an automaton that resembles Christine ("The Aerie"). In spite of the years that have passed and his many successes, the Phantom still longs to be reunited with her ("Til I Hear You Sing").

The sequel to Phantom, written by Lloyd Webber, Ben Elton, Frederick Forsyth and Glenn Slater, is called Love Never Dies. It was loosely adapted from the 1999 novel The Phantom of Manhattan, by Forsyth. Set in 1907 (a decade after the conclusion of Phantom according to the production's announcement, but actually 26 years later, as the original show was set in 1881), Christine is invited to perform at Phantasma, a new attraction at Coney Island, by an anonymous impresario. With her husband Raoul and son Gustave in tow, she journeys to Brooklyn, unaware that it is the Phantom who has arranged her appearance at the popular beach resort. The original production was directed by Jack O'Brien and choreographed by Jerry Mitchell with set and costume designs by Bob Crowley, and opened at the Adelphi Theatre in the West End on 9 March 2010. Though it ran for over 17 months and closed on 27 August 2011, the production received mixed reviews.

Buhler applied the theory of deixis to narratives. He proposed the concept of Zeigfeld, or deictic field, which operates in three modes: the first, ad oculos, "operates in the here-and-now of the speaker's sensible environment;" the second, anaphora, "operates in the context of the discourse itself considered as a structured environment;" and the third, what Buhler calls deixis at phantasma, operates in the context "of imagination and long-term memory." Buhler's model attempts "to describe the psychological and physical process whereby the live deictic field of our own bodily orientation and experience" is "transposed into an imaginative construction." According to Buhler, "the body-feeling representation, or Körpertastbild (what psychologists would probably now call the body schema), becomes loosened from its involvement with the HERE//NOW/I deictic coordinates of waking life in our immediate environment, and becomes available to translation into an environment we construct both conceptually and orientationally"; this deictic coordinate system is used "in the constructive environment to orient ourselves within 'the somewhere-realm of pure imagination and the there-and-there in memory'".

In truth, Noel suffers from amnesia, and is actually Mu-12, a Murakumo Unit created by Relius Clover, the predecessor of Nu-13 and the final boss in the console version of Continuum Shift. After being rescued by Ragna, Noel seeks out Rachel in Chrono Phantasma, who helps her learn to control her powers as Mu. In Central Fiction however, Noel separates from Mu to protect the gate to the Azure, and it is revealed that she is the Master Unit's link to the world, due to being based on the Origin itself. Once Noel merges with Mu once again, she is able to merge with Izanami and imprison her within her soul with help from Ragna, recreating Saya, though she prefers to still use 'Noel' as her name, so as to prevent Izanami's mind from taking full control over her just recreated body. At the end of the final game, Noel is able to merge with "The Origin" within the Master Unit, having no choice but to allow Ragna to take the Unit outside of the world so that time will not loop nor will the world be destroyed any further, despite her and Jin's previous objections.
