As a result of the high premium paid for mānuka honey, an increasing number of products now labelled as such worldwide are counterfeit or adulterated. According to research by UMFHA, the main trade association of New Zealand mānuka honey producers, whereas 1,700 tons of mānuka honey are made there annually representing almost all the world's production, some 10,000 tons of produce is being sold internationally as mānuka honey, including 1,800 tons in the UK. In governmental agency tests in the UK between 2011 and 2013, a majority of mānuka-labelled honeys sampled lacked the non-peroxide anti-microbial activity of mānuka honey. Likewise, of 73 samples tested by UMFHA in Britain, China and Singapore in 2012-13, 43 tested negative. Separate UMFHA tests in Hong Kong found that 14 out of 56 mānuka honeys sampled had been adulterated with syrup.

54 Nude Honeys () was a Japanese punk rock band formed in 1992, in Tokyo. The band was primarily composed of the bass guitarist and co-founder Vivi, the guitarist and co-founder Kotome and the vocalist Yuri. The band and its membership went through a number of reconfigurations between 1992 and 2007, the year in which the band was disbanded. The group has been jokingly likened to the satirical heavy metal group Spinal Tap, due to the number of different drummers that have been involved in the band over separate line-ups.

In late 1965, Wilson devoted some Pet Sounds sessions to experimental indulgences such as an extended a cappella run-through of the children's song "Row, Row, Row Your Boat" that exploited the song's use of rounds. Granata called the piece "very low-key and relatively simple", but an "effectively lavish layer of recorded vocal harmonies". Humorous skits and sound effects were also recorded in an attempt to create a psychedelic comedy album. At least two sketches survive, "Dick" and "Fuzz", which feature Brian, a woman named Carol, and the Honeys, a girl group that included Marilyn.

Wilson's other non-Beach Boy work in this period included tracks by the Castells, Donna Loren, Sharon Marie, the Timers, and the Survivors. The most notable group to which Wilson would attach himself in this era would be the Honeys, which Wilson intended as the female counterpart to the Beach Boys, and as an attempt to compete with Phil Spector-led girl groups such as the Crystals and the Ronettes. He continued juggling between recording with the Beach Boys and producing records for other artists, but with less success at the latter—except for Jan and Dean.

Later on Kayaka goes back to America, and Toi is fired (but then later joins up with Kayaka's family) for cutting the funding to Yuzuru's tuition, and after a while they get married a bit before Renge and Yuzuru. In the last chapter, after six years of high school, the Honeys are free. This causes much distress to Yuzuru who has stood faithfully by his side for 6 years and she now must give up the earring that ties her to him. But again, Renge reminds her that he's considered no one else, and that they're still together.

Yuzuru performs badly in both her studies and sports, and constantly refers to herself as "such a measly Honey" or "a Honey like me" (because she's afraid of displeasing him, and not being the best she can be for him). She needs to be reassured occasionally that she's not at fault and that even though she doesn't do things the way other Honeys do, Kai still loves her and wants HER, not any other Honey. She detests Kai at first but finally falls in love with him later on. Since Chihaya once encroached upon her, Yuzuru is afraid of him.

Marilyn and the Honeys reunited for a comeback record in 1983 called Ecstasy, and they again reformed in the 1990s and performed at occasional venues in Southern California. Marilyn has appeared in numerous documentaries and other programs about the Beach Boys, Wilson Phillips, and the music of the 1960s and 1970s. She was portrayed in The Beach Boys: An American Family, and in the earlier Summer Dreams: The Story of the Beach Boys. In 2012, she also made appearances in her daughters' reality TV series Wilson Phillips: Still Holding On. She was also portrayed in "Love and Mercy" (2014).

First organized as the Philly Roller Girls in 2005, the league debuted in 2006 as a four-team home league, comprising the Broad Street Butchers, the Heavy Metal Hookers, the Hostile City Honeys and the Philthy Britches. The home teams competed for a league championship called the Warrior Cup. Later in 2006, Philly launched a travel team called the Liberty Belles, made of members of the home teams, that by November had hosted Gotham Girls Roller Derby (New York City) and traveled to face the Sin City Rollergirls (Las Vegas). Home events were held at Millennium Skate World in nearby Camden, New Jersey.

In 2009, Philly moved into a temporary new home venue, the 23rd Street Armory, where they were consistently drawing sold- out crowds of over 700 fans per event. Gary Usher continued to mine this genre of music with numerous 'bands' made up of session musicians doing one-off recordings. They were from the conglomerate of session musicians known as The Wrecking Crew, which had a rotating lineup of the same basic people. For instance, if Hal Blaine wasn't the drummer, then it was Earl Palmer. These fictional bands issued recordings as The Sunsets, The Four Speeds, Gary Usher and The Usherettes (aka: The Honeys), The Competitors, The Go-Go's, The Devons, The Ghouls, The Super Stocks, The Indigos, The Revells, The Kickstands and The Knights.

The Honeys (a slang term for girls or girlfriends, and specifically for female surfing enthusiast) consisted at first of sisters Barbara, Diane and Marilyn Rovell, performing under the name of the Rovell Sisters. Their cousin Sandra Glantz later replaced Barbara, and joined the group as Ginger Blake. They were discovered on the amateur talent show circuit by producer Gary Usher, who featured Blake on his 1961 single "You’re the Girl"/"Driven Insane", and the whole band as the Usherettes in 1963 on "Three Surfer Boys"/"Milky Way." Marilyn and Diane had met the Beach Boys when the boys performed at a Hollywood club called Pandora's Box in late 1962.

A native of Fukuoka, he began playing as a catcher for the Mikuni Honeys in grade school, then went on to join the Futsukaichi Lions in junior high where he got to participate in national tournaments. Upon entering high school, he secured the outfielder post for the Fukuoka Koudai Joto High School. He was elected as team captain in his second year, but his team never made it past the elimination rounds to summer Koshien. He attended the same high school as fellow Tiger's teammate Ryutaro Umeno who was a year ahead, and like Umeno, he started as an outfielder and graduated as a catcher.

Hosted by country music artists Buck Owens and Roy Clark for most of its run, the show was equally well known for its corn pone humor as for its voluptuous, scantily clad women (called the Hee Haw Honeys) in stereotypical farmer's daughter outfits. Hee Haw's appeal, however, was not limited to a rural audience. It was successful in all of the major markets, including network-based Los Angeles and New York City, as well as other large cities like Boston and Chicago. Other niche programs such as The Lawrence Welk Show (which targeted older audiences) and Soul Train (which targeted black audiences) also rose to prominence in syndication during the era.

At a New Year's Eve party in December 2011 Sasha Carlson, formerly of Pineapple Head, Colours and The Coshercot Honeys/Brain Slaves first brought up the idea of forming a band with Toto Vivian, whom he had met on a previous trip to London in 2010. In February 2012 Carlson moved to London from Australia and began writing and recording songs with Vivian in Vivian's flat in Hackney. The duo then expanded their lineup to include Vivian's former INTL bandmate Tom Beal on bass, who had also previously been a member of Shropshire band Ripchord. INTL also featured Oliver Burslem and Andy Jones, who went on to form Yak.

This association has been in existence since 1971/72, and is home to Huntsville Honeys Senior C Team, and the Huntsville Sting Bantam BB team. The town has a lacrosse team, the Huntsville Hawks of the OLA Junior C Lacrosse League as well as a full complement of Minor Lacrosse, from Paperweight to Midget age players. The town also had an Ontario Provincial Junior A Hockey League team called the Huntsville Otters, which has had players move on to major junior A in the Ontario Hockey League. There has been a new Junior C Hockey team reintroduced to the town as of 2012 season.

After forming in late 2005 through The Coshercot Honeys performed shows throughout Auckland, and following some personnel changes in 2006 (the addition of second guitar and a new keyboardist, though still without a bass guitar), the band began to gain wider attention with high energy live shows and more experimental song writing. Reviewer Joanna Hunkin compared them with Franz Ferdinand. In April 2007 the song "We're All Lions" was played on Auckland student radio station 95bfm and other student radio throughout the country. The remnants of 1ERY (7 officers and 230 men) returned to Tidworth, where the Regiment was brought up to strength by drafts from the 2nd Regiment, before moving on to Bovington to rejoin 1st Armoured Reconnaissance Brigade. The album's sessions began immediately after the recording of Lei'd in Hawaii, a failed live album, and the release of Smiley Smile, their previous LP. Like Smiley Smile, Wild Honeys core instrumental combo consists of organ, honky-tonk piano, and electric bass. The Beach Boys were inspired to regroup as a self-contained rock band, partly in response to critical assertions that they were "ball-less choir boys". They also purposely distanced themselves from psychedelia and high- scale recording or thematic conceits—the prevailing rock trends of the time. It was the second album to credit "the Beach Boys" as producer instead of Brian, who gradually withdrew from the band following the difficult sessions for the aborted Smile project.

There is a confusing range of systems for rating the strength of mānuka honeys. In one UK chain in 2013, two products were labelled "12+ active" and "30+ total activity" respectively for "naturally occurring peroxide activity" and another "active 12+" in strength for "total phenol activity", yet none of the three were labelled for the strength of the non-peroxide antimicrobial activity specific to mānuka honey. There have been increasing turf disputes between producers operating close to large mānuka tree clumps, and also cases reported of many hives being variously sabotaged, poisoned, or stolen.

He is Yuzuru's master and was born into a very rich family—"The Renge Family" (Lotus Clan). At first, Kai thinks Yuzuru is only a toy for him to play tricks with (and sexually harass), however soon he falls in love with her. Since the other masters of the 9 flowers found their true honeys in elementary school, Kai was envious and desperately wanted to find his own honey for himself. Although Kai thought Yuzuru was just another weak and careless honey which was not meant for him and thought she was going to quit, he soon sees that they were meant to be and does whatever it takes to keep her by his side.

The original group included founder, Dan Anthony, (formerly Jaramillo) vocals and lead guitar, Roger Stafford lead vocal and rhythm guitar, Wilson Smith later replaced by George Haraksin on drums, with Jack Schaeffer on tenor saxophone and Ed Loewe rounding out the group on bass guitar. While playing the sock hops they often performed as backup band for touring recording artist, Jan and Dean, The Hondells or The Honeys. While at the Cinnamon Cinder they backed up weekly such acts as Jackie DeShannon, Dick and Dede, The Ronettes, Little Stevie Wonder, The Coasters, The Rivingtons and Chuck Berry. Producer Gary Usher signed the newly reformed group, The Forte' Four to a recording contract at MCA/Universal and released several singles on Decca Records.

Hee Haw produced a short-lived spin-off series, Hee Haw Honeys (not to be confused with Hee Haw's female cast members), for the 1978–79 television seasons. This musical sitcom starred Kathie Lee Johnson (Gifford) along with Hee Haw regulars Misty Rowe, Gailard Sartain, Lulu Roman, and Kenny Price as a family who owned a truck stop restaurant (likely inspired by the "Lulu's Truck Stop" sketch on Hee Haw). Their restaurant included a bandstand, where guest country artists would perform a couple of their hits of the day, sometimes asking the cast to join them. Cast members would also perform songs occasionally; and the Nashville Edition, Hee Haw's backup singing group, frequently appeared on the show, portraying regular patrons of the restaurant.

The Turf Wars mode offers a player to pick a team (if you are playing for the first time, you'll be able to choose between the Skater Boys, Hardcore Honeys, Shakedown or Tagging Crew), and begin a Turf War, challenging other teams into playing on their home pitches. Each team has a specific, personally themed playing area (from obvious things like a skate park to warehouses, highschool pitches etc.). After each game is finished, depending on the outcome of it, the player obtains a certain number of skill points, which they can use the improve the statistics of their own team. The campaign here is partially linear, giving the player options on which location/turf they will attack by using a map of the city.

With a rating of seven out of ten, NewMusicReviews named the single decent, stating that although it might not find multiple chart-success it may still receive plenty of "action." Awarding the song three stars out of five, DJBooth showed great praise for the song stating that although their album doesn't have a release date, that all may change following possible success with the single. Felipe Delerme of FADER praised the song for bringing back the "glory days of Glam&B;," adding that they saved a spot in an "R&B; Honeys desktop folder" for a group like this to perform this kind of song. Delerme ended his review by stating that the song's release could mark the return to a simpler time.

Hagino Yuzuru is an ordinary girl at Houjou High School. When she works a part-time job during summer break, she gets into trouble with Renge Kai of the Kuge course which many rich people take. After the summer break, she finds that she was chosen as Kai's "HONEY". The HONEY is a partner of a MASTER (usually, Honeys are used for companionship and to aid their Masters so that they can graduate and go on to run their respective family businesses, and usually are so close that they become lifetime partners), a Kugeka (in Japanese, Kugeka means "nobility") course student, to take care of him until he graduates from the school, and the HONEY is chosen from the normal course student.

In 1997 Travon joined forces with prominent songwriter and producer Rhett Lawrence (who has produced Mariah Carey, Whitney Houston, BeBe and CeCe Winans and so on). Though originally brought in as a keyboardist and programmer, Travon quickly was recognized by Lawrence as a songwriter. The musical relationship between Rhett and Travon yielded many collaborations in song writing that led to songs on BeBe Winans (“Thank You”), The Honeys and multi-platinum selling EMI (UK) artist Eternal. Eternal scored an overseas hit from this writing team (“Angel of Mine”). Monica also recorded and released “Angel of Mine” as a single from her The Boy Is Mine CD. “Angel of Mine” went on to #1 on the Billboard pop chart for 4 weeks.

On April 18, 2004 Jill Gibson was one of 400 invited guests who gathered at The Roxy Theatre in Hollywood, California, to celebrate Jan Berry's life and music at a tribute called "Jan Berry: A Celebration of Life". Other guests included Judy Lovejoy (her former singing partner), Dean Torrence, Don Altfeld (her former songwriting partner), Ann Marshall, Ryan O'Neal, Nancy Sinatra, Lou Adler, Lloyd Thaxton, Diane Rovell and Ginger Blake of The Honeys. The night featured live performances of Jan & Dean songs performed by artists who had once worked with Berry in the 1960s.

When reviewed for The Horror Honeys website, it was stated of the film that "It's not the perfect revenge film, but it is an interesting snapshot of the era and there are far worse ways to kill an evening". Hee Haw continues to remain popular with its long-time fans and younger viewers who have discovered the program through DVD releases or its reruns through the years on TNN, CMT, RFD-TV, and now Circle TV. In spite of the popularity among its fans, the program has never been a favorite of television critics or reviewers; the Hee Haw Honeys spin-off, in particular, was cited in a 2002 TV Guide article as one of the 10 worst television series ever. In the third season episode of The Simpsons "Colonel Homer", Hee Haw is parodied as the TV show Ya Hoo!. On at least four episodes of the animated Fox series Family Guy, when the storyline hits a dead-end, a cutaway to Conway Twitty performing a song is inserted. The hand-off is done in Hee Haw style, and often uses actual footage of Twitty performing on the show.

The lyrics to "Young Girls" follow the verse–pre-chorus–chorus pattern. It begins with the singer "dumbly" trying to get noticed by "these bright-eyed honeys", since he can't help to fall for their "dubious charms", despite "recognizing [the] sin while indulging in it". The song's lyrics are in the same vein as Gary Puckett & The Union Gap's "Young Girl" and The Knack's "My Sharona" as pointed out by HitFix's Melinda Newman. Once clearance of the village was well in hand, the Recce Trp came up and pushed on carelessly into a wood occupied by German troops and SP guns. Shecter relocated to Las Vegas from New York City in 2003, where he first began many of his start-ups including the Hip Hop Honeys DVD series. He was recognized as a dance music promoter and representative for numerous DJs throughout the city, including Mark Ronson, Stretch Armstrong, DJ Premier, Milo Berger, also known as DJ Mighty Mi of The High and Mighty, and brokered a deal for Adam Michael Goldstein, also known as DJ AM, with the Pure Group in 2006. DJ AM’s arrival in Las Vegas started a popular style of music in the city called “mash-up”, which is a song created by blending two or more pre-recorded songs, usually by overlaying the vocal track of one song seamlessly over the instrumental track of another. The style was popular in Las Vegas for several years, and helped pave the way for Electronic Dance Music (or EDM), which became mainstream by 2012.

He went as far as to mostly likely allow Chihaya to forcefully drop his other honeys, thereby most likely being in some sort of alliance with him, and went as far as to send men to remove Yuzuru's earring, cut her fundings without permission, even attempt to allow Kayaka to almost rape Kai while he almost sends Yuzuru to be raped by Chihaya. However after the plan backfires on Kayaka and almost beats Kai for hurting her, despite knowing what she was trying to do, he allows the fundings to be recovered and was fired. But he was somehow hired to be Kayaka's care taker and resolved to steal her heart, which eventually succeed as they marry sometime before Yuzuru and Kai.
