Denise Garrido (born December 8, 1986) is a Canadian model and beauty pageant titleholder. She is one of the most decorated beauty queens in Canadian history. Garrido was the first Canadian to win two National Grand Slam Pageants, Miss Earth Canada 2008 and Miss World Canada 2010, and she appeared to be the first to win all three National Grand Slam Pageants when she was wrongly crowned as Miss Universe Canada 2013. She played Miss Texas in the segment "Five Beauty Queens Walk Into A Bar" by Julia Brownell, alongside British actresses Lily Newmark and Tamsin Egerton. Andy Warhol's Interview magazine says Bellamacina, "is garnering critical acclaim for her way with words and her ability to translate the classic poetic form into the contemporary creative landscape." Bellamacina is represented by Tavistock Wood for acting In 2020, Bellamacina played the lead character Sally in Jamie Adam's British comedy Venice At Dawn, a modern day Bonnie and Clyde love story, alongside Fabien Frankel.

173 and 176 Perry Street are the two towers on the left, with Meier's 165 Charles Street on the right 173 and 176 Perry Street are a pair of high-rise residential buildings facing West Street in West Village, Manhattan, New York City. It was designed by Richard Meier & Partners, and are the first project undertaken by Meier in Manhattan, although they stand a short walk away from his 1970 renovation of the Westbeth Artists Community. Construction of the buildings began in 1997 and was completed in 2002. Reporter Penelope Green of The New York Times referred to Meier's paired towers as "beauty queens".

The swimming pool, pictured during renovations in 2007 In 1972, Stocks House achieved some notoriety when it was purchased by American Playboy executive Victor Lownes and English Playboy Playmate Marilyn Cole for £115,000. They renovated the house and fitted it out with a private disco, games room and swimming pool and installed a massive jacuzzi - reputedly the largest in the country. The mansion was used as a training camp for Playboy bunnies and Lownes was well known for leading a "lothario" lifestyle and hosting extravagant parties at Stocks. His most notorious party lasted a full 25 hours and featured a funfair in the grounds, and guests drank champagne and cavorted with models and beauty queens.

Several key facts are switched in the film, for example, replacing the setting from Sinaloa to Baja California. The basic structure of Zuñiga's story remains, however, such as the allegations of corruption in the pageant organization, Zuñiga's presentation to the media at the time of her arrest, and her allegations that she was not involved in narcotrafficking. Both Zuñiga and the main character, Laura Guerrero, even wear the same clothing when presented to the media and when crowned beauty queens. Charmers, Philippine Daily Inquirer Balingit won the Binibining Pilipinas Universe 2003 title and represented her country at the Miss Universe 2003 pageant which was won by Amelia Vega of Dominican Republic. As Zoglin wrote in Hope: Entertainer of the Century, "Bob Hope had affairs with chorus girls, beauty queens, singers and showbiz wannabes through his 70s; he had a different girl on his arm every night. He was still having affairs into his 80s..." The Miss Panama pageant, was born in 1952 when an invitation was received by tourism authorities to select a contestant for the purpose of sending advertising a Panamanian representative to Miss Universe contest in California, United States, which had been created that same year by the company Pacific Mills to promote its brand of bikinis "Catalina". In 1977, Carolina Chiari acquired the rights of the pageant and created a televised contest. The winner went to Miss Universe and the 1st runner-up went to Miss World, until 1980. During the 1980s, the pageant was broadcast and promoted by Channel 2, which was the official Government network, giving place to endless rumors about affairs between the beauty queens and authority figures.

Eden as Jeannie in a variation of the famous "Jeannie costume" seen only in the pilot episode Bewitched was the number-two show on television in 1964, and following on its heels, in 1965, producer Sidney Sheldon signed Eden to star in his upcoming fantasy sitcom I Dream of Jeannie that would air on NBC. After various brunette starlets and beauty queens unsuccessfully tried out for the role, Eden was approached by Sheldon, who had seen her in The Brass Bottle and had received numerous recommendations for Eden from various colleagues. The film was also responsible for finally naming Narda's grandmother; Narda referred to her as "Lola Isabel" (Grandmother Isabel), and it is part of her continuity now.

On September 17, 2019, during the reunion episode of season six of Bachelor in Paradise, Weber was announced as the next Bachelor by host Chris Harrison, over castmates Tyler Cameron and Mike Johnson. Drayer said in an interview that while she loved baseball, she knew she could not play or manage because she was female, and had initially dismissed journalism as a career option because when she was in college in the late 1980s, "pretty much the only women who were working in sportscasting were ex- beauty queens and basketball players."
