In 1875, the building was sold to the local grange chapter, which enlarged the building in the 1880s, adding to its length. This additional space provided interior space for a stage, which was used for grange rituals and dramatic presentations. The town purchased the building from the grange in 1889, although it continued to be used by the grange in addition to serving as a place for town functions. It was used by the town as a meeting space until 1990, and continues to be used for social functions.

In September 1882, a line was opened from Woodville to Grange, built by the Grange Railway and Investment Company. Unlike the Adelaide to Port Adelaide route, which was built and operated by the South Australian Government, the Grange line was a private venture, constructed to tap into potential development in the area between Woodville and the coast. La Grange enjoyed the favor of Montpensier for a time, following her through her exile and partaking of notable events such as breaking into the city of Orléans with a group of boatmen. Walton Grange No. 1454 is a historic Grange building located at 137 Stockton Avenue in Walton in Delaware County, New York, United States. Designed by architects Randall and Gilbert of Walton and built in 1886, it consists of a two-story administration building with an attached gable roofed drill shed. It was occupied from 1886-1896 by the 33rd Separate Company then vacated in 1896 and converted for use as a school and a Grange hall. Grange Technology college became an academy in 2013 The college went through a transitional period in 2011 where it moved to a new advanced facility managed by Amey, the investment reportedly costing around 50 million pounds. From July 1978 to 1980, Grange served as infantry company commander, C Company, 1st Ranger Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, which supported Operation Eagle Claw in April 1980.

Moor Grange County Secondary School in 1973 Moor Grange County Secondary School was located in the Leeds postal district of Leeds 16 at the junction of Parkstone Avenue and the West Park section of the Leeds Ring Road (A6120). Although it was named Moor Grange it was actually located in the Ireland Wood area with Moor Grange Estate being located just across the ring road. The school was a boys' school and its main section was four stories high. The science block was located on the top of a two-storey building above the wood work, metal work, science and art rooms.
Sir William Kirkcaldy of Grange, painted by Jean Clouet Edinburgh Castle was initially delivered by its Captain, James Balfour, to the Regent Moray, who appointed Sir William Kirkcaldy of Grange as its Keeper. Grange was a trusted lieutenant of the Regent, but after Moray's murder in January 1570 his allegiance to the King's cause wavered. The organization was founded in 1870; the building was completed in 1889. The Pilot Hill Grange #1 recently left the Grange family and is now The Cool Community Center in Cool Ca. Grange, often called Grange in Borrowdale, is a village in Borrowdale in the English Lake District. It lies just off the B5289 road to the south of Derwent Water and south of Keswick, in the county of Cumbria, historically part of Cumberland, Historically part of Cumberland, the village is overlooked by Grange Fell and Castle Crag, which flank either side of the narrow section of Borrowdale in which it sits. Its origins date back to medieval times, when the monks of Furness Abbey built a monastic grange on the site. The double-arched bridge that links the village to the B5289 across the River Derwent was built in 1675.

Eger and the other members of Eagle Grange No. 1 were quickly successful in establishing themselves as a force with which to be reckoned. The Pennsylvania State Grange was established on September 18, 1873 in Reading. Representatives from 22 local Granges met on Blenizer's Hall and elected the man who said that the first Pennsylvania Grange was established to "keep the peace in the family", Frank Porter, as the first Overseer of the Pennsylvania State Grange.

In 1825 Thomas Dick Lauder the then owner of the Grange, sold off a large area of land for development (now the area between Dick Place and Grange Road. This linked to a new access road to the east (now called Newington Road). Lauder controlled development of the land through a strong feuing plan and developments required his approval. Gaston Grange is north of New Copse and south of Gaston Wood. This area was part of the Bentworth Hall estate and is now privately owned. The railway line between Woodville and Grange opened in September 1882. It was a private railway, constructed by the Grange Railway and Investment Company, and Albert Park at this time was a simple request stop on the line. For most of its lifetime, Albert Park has been a single platform station on a single track branch line. Neversink Valley Grange Hall No. 1530 is a historic Grange meeting hall located at Huguenot in Orange County, New York. It was built in 1934, and is a one-story with raised basement, rectangular wood frame building with a medium pitched front gable roof. It has a projecting entry block that includes a vestibule and stairs to the upper and lower levels. In addition to a Grange hall, the building served as an early community center.
The Dick Lauder family plot, Grange Cemetery, Edinburgh He died at Grange House, and was buried in a newly created family plot in the then new cemetery at Grange, Edinburgh. The school was founded in 1996, when RGS Worcester purchased a traditional English farmhouse in Claines named “The Grange”. The Anson Grange No. 88 is a historic commercial building and Grange hall at 10 Elm Street in North Anson, Maine. With a construction history dating to 1849, it is North Anson's oldest commercial building, and the only one to survive a pair of fires that devastated the community in 1863 and 1913. Since 1906 it has served the local Grange chapter, and the community in general as a social venue. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2004.

Forest Croft Taymount Grange Forest Croft and Taymount Grange are two 1930s Art Deco–style mansion blocks situated at the top of Taymount Rise in Forest Hill, London. Forest Croft was built in 1937 to designs by Arnold Andre Higuer, on a site previously occupied by a house called The Mount. It comprises 63 flats. Taymount Grange was built in 1935 to designs by George Bertram Carter on the site of Taymount, a 19th-century house, and the former Queens Tennis Club.

Saighton Grange originated as a monastic grange. It was later converted into a country house and, as of 2013, the building is used as a school (Abbey Gate College). It is located in Saighton, Cheshire, England. The only surviving part of the monastic grange is the gatehouse, which is recorded in the National Heritage List for England as a designated Grade I listed building, and is one of only two surviving monastic manorial buildings in Cheshire, the other being Ince Manor.

Rachel Chiesley (baptised 4 February 1679 – 12 May 1745), usually known as Lady Grange, was the wife of Lord Grange, a Scottish lawyer with Jacobite sympathies. After 25 years of marriage and nine children, the Granges separated acrimoniously. When Lady Grange produced letters that she claimed were evidence of his treasonable plottings against the Hanoverian government in London, her husband had her kidnapped in 1732. She was incarcerated in various remote locations on the western seaboard of Scotland, including the Monach Isles, Skye and St Kilda.
The A930 runs through the town east to west from Barry to Barnhill. The western political boundary of the town is marked by West Grange Road, leading south from the West Grange roundabout on the A92, the cycle track that goes from West Grange Road over the Seven Arches viaduct over the Dighty Burn (once part of the Dundee to Forfar Railway), around Monifieth High School grounds, between Inchkeith Avenue and Balmossie Place, and down North and South Balmossie Street to the river bank.
Wilston Grange was formed in 1945 as "Wilston Football Club", renamed Wilston Grange in 1947 and entered the QANFL in 1950. Their original home ground was Emerson Park, Grange, and the club relocated to Hickey Park for the 1964 season. No.6880 Betton Grange is a steam locomotive which is under construction as a "new-build" project, based on the Llangollen Railway in Denbighshire, Wales. Described as "building the 81st Grange", the project started in 1998, and the locomotive was expected to be operational by 2013. All of the original GWR 6800 Class Grange locomotives were withdrawn for scrap by the end of 1965; this project is a creation, from an assemblage of original GWR and newly manufactured components, of a member of this class.
The Former Upton Grange No. 404 is a historic former Grange hall on Maine State Route 26 in rural Upton, Maine. Built in 1899, this now-vacant wood frame building has seen a variety of commercial, civic and social uses. It was first used as a factory for the manufacture of spruce gum before being acquired by the local Grange chapter in 1911, and was used for social events as well as town meetings. It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places in 2000.

World War I brought deaths and wounded men from the front were also seen in the village as Thorncombe Park was used as a hospital. In 1921 the war memorial at the crossroads was built, designed by architect and local resident Frederick Hodgson. In 1887 Bramley Grange was built on the site of the earlier White House for Colonel Webster (who would later develop Bramley Golf course).

Ovingdean Grange is a Grade II listed manor house situated on the south coast of England in the village of Ovingdean, east of Brighton. One of the oldest and most historical residences in Brighton, it gave its name to the novel Ovingdean Grange by the popular 19th-century writer William Harrison Ainsworth.

It has a central French-type tower, with a steeply pitched pyramidal roof flanked by pinnacles. Paley designed stations for the Furness Railway, starting with the Strand Station in Barrow (1863); he probably also designed the station at Grange- over-Sands (1866). The Grange railway company, with its rolling stock of two locomotives and four carriages, was not a financial success and was forced to operate on a shoestring budget right from the start. Following its collapse, the South Australian Railways took over operation in 1891, using a steam tram in place of the more conventional locomotive and carriages. The Grange line was fully bought out by the State Government in 1893, and in 1894 it was extended as the Henley Beach railway line from Grange southwards to Henley Beach along Military Road. Stuart Organ is a British actor. He is best known for his portrayal of the character Mr. Robson in the children's television drama Grange Hill. The village itself was probably centred on Church Lane, being part of the ancient road that linked the River Tees to Guisborough and Stokesley. State Highway 159 (SH 159) is a Texas state highway that runs from La Grange to Fayetteville in Fayette County, through Industry and Bellville in Austin County, and ends at Hempstead in Waller County. The Foxboro Grange Hall is a historic Grange building at 11–15 Bird Street in Foxborough, Massachusetts. It is a three-story wood frame structure, five bays wide at the upper levels and three storefronts wide on the first level, with a hip roof and clapboard siding. Built in 1897, it is one of few wood-frame commercial buildings in the town, and is a reminder of the town's agricultural past for its historic use as a Grange hall. The first floor has been adapted for retail use.

The La Grange Village Hall, also known as the Lyons Township Hall, is a historic building at 53 S. LaGrange Road in La Grange, Illinois. Built in 1900, the building houses the offices of the village of La Grange and Lyons Township. It historically also hosted most of La Grange's community events and is home to an American Legion post. The architecture firm Stiles & Stephens of Chicago designed the building in the Georgian Revival style, which was one of the classically inspired styles popular for large public buildings at the time.
This includes the addition of a west wing in the 1840s, and another wing to the west in 1885. Although the museum expanded the complex in the decades after acquiring the property, The Grange itself saw little work done to it for the next half- century. As a part of its 1967–1973 expansion project, the museum restored The Grange to its 1830s configuration, and repurposed the building into a historic house. The Grange was operated as a historic house until it was later repurposed by the museum as an exhibition space and members' lounge.

Tudor Grange Academy Worcester is a mixed secondary school in Worcester, Worcestershire, England. It occupies the site of the former Elgar Technology College that was disbanded following its inability to improve under the special measures received from Ofsted. Tudor Grange Academy Trust then sponsored the school, renamed it after the Solihull school named "Tudor Grange Academy Solihull" and heavily renovated the site. The new academy was established in 2009 and was the second academy school of its type to be set up in England, opening for the new school year in September.
Outwood Grange School was established in 1972 through the merger of Outwood and Stanley secondary schools, with John L Snowdon as its first headteacher. The Department for Education stated that when Michael Wilkins became headteacher of the school in 2001 it was performing in the bottom 10% of schools. In 2001 BBC secondary school league tables placed Outwood Grange School at 1581st of 3571 secondary schools in England for GCSE results, achieving a 54% pass rate compared to a 50% national average. In 2002 it became Outwood Grange College after achieving specialist technology college status.
In 1938 the Union Hall Associates sold the building to the local grange chapter, which had been meeting on the premises since 1894. Little modification has been made to the building since 1893. The East Andover Schoolhouse was built in 1903 to replace the old District 10 schoolhouse, which had been located just south of the grange hall. Located just east of the grange hall, the building served as a public school until 1962; its most significant alteration in this period was the addition of a wood and coal shed to the rear.
The Chicago Bears, led by star running back Red Grange, came to town attracting a then pro football record 73,000 fans, and giving the Giants a much needed financial influx. The La Grange Village Historic District is a national historic district encompassing a large section of the village of La Grange, Illinois. The district includes over 1000 buildings, most of which are residences. Development in the district began in the 1870s after the Chicago, Burlington and Quincy Railroad began serving two stations in La Grange; nearly all of the buildings within the present-day district were built between then and 1930. Several popular architectural styles of the period are represented in the district, including large collections of Prairie School, Queen Anne, and Victorian houses.

There is also an endowment fund to support the park's long-term maintenance. Founded in 1636, Calday Grange Grammar School is Wirral's oldest surviving grammar school. It was established as a free grammar school on the present site by local landowner William Glegg. From when it started with 12 pupils, the school has grown into an establishment of over 1300 students – which includes over 400 male and female students in the Sixth Form. Calday Grange Grammar School became a trust school on 1 January 2009, transferring ownership of the school land and buildings to a Charitable Trust called "The Calday Grange Trust".

Location external and some interior scenes in Grange Hill were originally filmed at real schools in London. The first of these would be Kingsbury High School in North West London, which was used as the Grange Hill setting for the first two series. For series 3 (1980) exterior filming moved to Willesden High School (now Capital City Academy) in Willesden Green, which was similar in looks to Kingsbury and was also situated in a residential area of the capital. In 1981, Grange Hill moved to Holborn College (now Fulham Preparatory School) in Greyhound Road, Hammersmith.
The Yankees arose as a result of a contract dispute between Grange and his previous team, the NFL's Chicago Bears. During the early 1920s, Grange was the star attraction for the Bears, and his play had done a lot to promote the fledgling NFL. However Red's agent C. C. "Cash and Carry" Pyle challenged the Bears owner George Halas in 1926, by stating that Red's contract was owned by himself, and not Halas. Pyle then approached Halas to demand for Grange a generous salary and one-third ownership of the Bears.
The terminus at Grange was relocated in the late 1980s on the eastern side of Military Road to eliminate a level crossing. The old station was formerly a stop on the Henley Beach line, an extension of the Grange line which closed in 1957. A station named Holdens, located between Woodville and Albert Park stations adjacent to what is now the SA Manufacturing Park, was closed in 1992 and subsequently demolished. Until 1996, Grange line services previously operated as a shuttle from Woodville station at night and on weekends, connecting with Outer Harbor line services.
In 1990 the Kedron Football Club and the Wilston-Grange Football Club formed a team known as the "Kedron Grange Football Team" to compete in the Queensland Australian Football League. The amalgamated team was known as the "Demons" and wore the Wilston-Grange striped jersey with Kedron red socks. The club played for seven seasons in this form, losing the 1994 Grand Final to Morningside by two points. Oscar Hugh La Grange was born on April 3, 1837, in Fulton, Oswego County, New York. In 1845, he and his family moved to Ripon, Wisconsin. René de Béthoulat, seigneur de La Grange-Fromenteau (or Bétoulat, Lagrange, Fourmenteau; – before 1660) was deputy governor of the French colony of Saint- Christophe, on Saint Christopher Island, from 1638 to 1639. When the governor arrived the two men began quarreling, La Grange was imprisoned on a charge of high treason, and later was shipped back to France.

In 2007 BBC Children's ordered major changes to Grange Hill so that it fitted in with the new requirement that all programmes under the CBBC banner must appeal to an audience age 12 and under – younger than the traditional age group for Grange Hill, which was the same as to slightly younger than the secondary school characters. Under a deal signed in 2005, Lime Pictures was contracted to produce Grange Hill until 2008, so changes began to be made. For series 31, Lime Pictures creative director Tony Wood set about the task of meeting CBBC's new requirements. The South Australian Government is considering electrifying the Outer Harbor line or converting it to light rail. A light rail conversion would also require the conversion or closure of the Grange line.
