The school's service supports teachers in communicating science, and it is involved in national initiatives aimed at improving science education. In particular the program is orientated to the primary school sector, where usually are the largest deficits, and it is imperative to enthuse children with scientific and technical ideas as early as possible. Advent's first for-hire project was Alone yet Not Alone, produced by Enthuse Entertainment and co-produced by Advent founders, George Escobar (who also co-wrote and co-directed the film) and Michael Snyder. Alone yet Not Alone is based on the true story of Barbara and Regina Leininger, who were taken captive by the Delaware Indians in 1755 during the French and Indian War. The novelization of the story, upon which the film is based, was written by a descendant of the Leiningers, Tracy Leininger Craven. Principal photography took place at historical locations in Virginia, Tennessee, North Carolina, and Pennsylvania.

From then on the castle at Sanquhar began to steadily crumble to a ruin, until 1895 when John Crichton- Stuart, 3rd Marquess of Bute, purchased it and attempted to enthuse a restoration of his ancestral home, following successful restorations at Cardiff Castle and Castell Coch in Wales. This was undertaken by Robert Weir Schultz and the squarer and more structurally sound sections rebuilt at that time can clearly be identified. Work ended following the death of the Marquess in 1900, and what is left of the site is a mix of restoration and original stonework, but still very far from any sense of completion. It is designated a scheduled monument.

One attempt to make Oklahoma a black state was to appoint Edward Preston McCabe as the Governor of the Oklahoma Territory. This would make it easier for black families to settle within the region during the land rush. This plan fell through the cracks, as there seemed to be less and less excitement of immigrating to the new land, and instead McCabe had to settle to being a treasurer in Logan County of Oklahoma. The attempts of people like Eagleson and McCabe were not completely futile as their support of the black family did enthuse many to continue to move to the Oklahoma Territory.

Ironically, the first new film released in Soviet Russia did not exactly fit this mold: this was Father Sergius, a religious film completed during the last weeks of the Russian Empire but not yet exhibited. It appeared on Soviet screens in 1918. Beyond this, the government was principally able to fund only short, educational films, the most famous of which were the agitki – propaganda films intended to "agitate", or energize and enthuse, the masses to participate fully in approved Soviet activities, and deal effectively with those who remained in opposition to the new order. These short (often one small reel) films were often simple visual aids and accompaniments to live lectures and speeches, and were carried from city to city, town to town, village to village (along with the lecturers) to educate the entire countryside, even reaching areas where film had not been previously seen.
