A Drake's Ring Ding The company marketed the snacks on the East Coast as Big Wheels, to avoid confusion with Ring Dings, a similar and pre-existing treat by Drake's Cakes. The names were consolidated in 1987, when a short-lived merger of Drake's with Hostess's parent company (then Continental Baking Company) briefly resolved the Ring DingDing Dong conflict. However, in the direct sequel Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, the reference to the actual President Barack Obama as well as brief glimpses of Bush in a news broadcast suggest that the president shown in the original is in fact President Bush. Many wrestling personalities, fans, and workers have openly criticized Herd for his lack of knowledge of the wrestling business and lack of respect for established wrestlers. Ric Flair in particular stated that Herd "knew nothing about wrestling, other than the fact that the station he ran had a hot show".
