One possible side effect of being stationed in a dead-end job for too long is the feeling of a lack of motivation and boredom. These characteristics often cause an individual to spread negative vibes to other co-workers which, in turn, can create problems within the workplace. The negative vibes can lead to an individual becoming short-tempered, replacing the patience that the worker once had when first starting the position. The lack of motivation experienced by individuals within a dead-end job can lead to discouragement in the direction of their career path and can cause their level of performance to suffer by either taking longer to complete a certain activity or task and/or making more mistakes than usual due to a lack of concentration.

After forming a friendship with Somerset, Tracy confides to him that she is pregnant and has yet to tell Mills, as she is unhappy with the city and feels it is no place to raise a child. Somerset sympathizes, having had a similar situation with his ex-girlfriend many years earlier, and advises her to tell Mills only if she plans to keep the child. Somerset and Mills investigate a set of murders inspired by the seven deadly sins: a man forced to eat until his stomach burst, representing gluttony, and a defense attorney killed after being forced to cut a pound of flesh from himself, representing greed.
This interpretation of the character, however, differs from that of the television series. Hammer portrays Kuryakin as a short-tempered, violent and volatile (the end credits state he has "Volatile personality disorder") KGB assassin traumatized by the past of his parents, particularly his father, a top government official, who was caught stealing from Joseph Stalin's party funds and was exiled to Gulag. Kuryakin was the youngest man to ever join the KGB Special Forces, becoming one of their best "within three years," which was a way to deal with the shame his family was left in. Several of the original The Man From U.N.C.L.E. double TV episodes were put together with additional footage in order to create eight feature films which were placed on general release in the years 1964 to 1968, starring David McCallum as Kuryakin.
Tigar's most notable film roles were in Lethal Weapon 2 (1989), as a bomb squad leader, and in The Avengers (2012), in which he has a brief but pivotal part as a German resister to Loki. He starred as the short-tempered Captain Jensen in L.A. Heat from 1997 to 1999, appearing in a total of 47 episodes. Tigar appeared in the TV movies The Hemingway Play (1976), The Rock Rainbow (1978), The Golden Gate Murders (1979), The Babysitter (1980), The Big Black Pill (1981), Thursday's Child (1983), Special Bulletin (1983), Missing Pieces (1983), Great Day (1983), Dirty Work (1985), Second Serve (1986), The Betty Ford Story (1987), Roe vs. Wade (1989). The Big Valley cast with Breck at far right From 1965 to 1969, Breck starred on The Big Valley as Nick Barkley, foreman of the Barkley ranch and son to Barbara Stanwyck's character, Victoria Barkley. The second of four children, Nick was hotheaded, short-tempered, and very fast with a gun. Always spoiling for a fight and frequently wearing leather gloves, Breck's character took the slightest offense to the Barkley name personally and quickly made his displeasure known, as often with his fists as with his vociferous shouts. Often this proved to be a mistake and only through the calming influence of his mother and cooler-headed siblings, Jarrod (Richard Long), half-brother Heath (Lee Majors), sister Audra (Linda Evans) and Eugene (Charles Briles; written out after season 1 when he was drafted into the Army), would a difficult situation be rectified.
In a hentai parody of Tokyo Mew Mew, a team of magical girls named after various desserts work as waitresses at the maid café Alamode, which is a front for the Global Defense Organization, dedicated to fighting an alien invasion of rapist monsters. Their founder's son, Shuta, is assigned to manage the café while his father is away, and the girls discover that Shuta has the ability to give them a power-up by having sex with them. The team consists of pure-hearted heroine Pudding, short-tempered lesbian newcomer Tiramisu, shy bespectacled Parfait, hyperactive Jelly, and flat-chested kimono-wearing Panna Cotta. The girls are powered by people's happiness (hence the waitressing day-jobs), and when Shuta makes the girls extra happy (via sex), they gain an Angel Blade-style “outfit,” functional wings, and a burst of extra power.
In 1999, Johnny Truelove is a young drug dealer living in the San Gabriel Valley, in Southern California. His father, Sonny, supplies him with marijuana, which Johnny distributes to his gang of friends, which include Frankie Ballenbacher, Johnny's right-hand man; Tiko Martinez, the muscle of the group; Elvis Schmidt, a ridiculed member of the group who is indebted to Johnny; and Jake Mazursky, a short-tempered junkie who is also in debt with Johnny. Jake goes to his parents’ home in Claremont and makes a failed attempt at borrowing money from his father Butch and stepmother Olivia, who themselves are dealing with their other rebellious son: Zack Mazursky, Jake's younger half-brother who looks up to him. That night, a fight breaks out between Jake and Johnny when the former tries to pay Johnny only part of his debt.
Late in his career, Stiller earned the part of the short-tempered Frank Costanza, father of George Costanza, on the sitcom Seinfeld, a role which Stiller played from 1993 until 1998. Stiller's character as initially envisioned was a "meek" and "Thurberesque" character that required him to wear a bald cap. After a couple of days of rehearsal Stiller realized the character wasn't working and asked Seinfeld co- creator Larry David if he could perform the character in a different way, which was more in line with his final characterization on the show. For his portrayal of Frank, Stiller gained widespread critical and popular acclaim, including being nominated for an Emmy for Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series in 1997 and winning an American Comedy Award for Funniest Male Guest Appearance in a TV Series in 1998.

Hergé introduced Captain Haddock in The Crab with the Golden Claws as the whisky- sodden captain of the Karaboudjan, a merchant vessel used—without Haddock's knowledge—by his first mate Allan for smuggling drugs inside crab tins. Because of his alcoholism and temperamental nature, his character was weak and unstable, at times posing as great a hazard to Tintin as the villains of the piece. He was also short-tempered, given to emotional expletive-ridden outbursts, and capable of infuriating behaviour; at one point he even attacks Tintin when, while traversing the Moroccan desert, he has the sun-induced delusion that Tintin is a bottle of champagne. However, Haddock is a sincere figure in need of reform, and by the end of his first adventure Tintin has gained a loyal companion, albeit one still given to uttering the occasional "expletive".
Susan Storm's younger brother is a short-tempered teen, who is enamored with good- looking girls and has a rock-star attitude. The obvious "cool factor" of his powers only serves to heighten these personality traits: Johnny's powers engulf him in flames that enable him to fly and shoot fiery projectiles. This power sometimes has detrimental effects on his body, as Johnny burns, or more accurately fuses, his own body-fat to provide his 'fuel', and every so often, he "hibernates" and sheds off the skin cells that protect him from his own flames, growing new ones. Regardless, he finds the idea of being a real superhero incredibly exciting and firmly intends to sign up with The Ultimates once he is old enough, rather than continue hanging around the Baxter Building with the nerds and geeks.
Unlike the ride, the character is depicted without a hat but retains his cloak and is shown to be short-tempered and rude, on the manner that he refers to the game's protagonist, Zeke Halloway, as "beggar" and is always upset when his playing is interrupted. However, despite some of his negative attitudes, he is also shown to be a little bit nice and appreciates Zeke's efforts to restore the Mansion and thanks him for setting him as well as his friends and the other spirits free from Thorn's control. The character gives Zeke a second weapon upgrade. While the character does not appear in the 2003 film adoption, there is a homage to him wherein one of the supporting characters, Ezra (Wallace Shawn) is shown wearing a cape and a hat and plays an off-key rendition of Richard Wagner's Bridal Chorus during the film's botched wedding ceremony.
In 1999, Afeef played the role of a friend counselling his best friend on dealing with his obsessed girlfriend in Ahmed Ibrahim's Nuruhunvi Loabi. Also, he starred opposite Reeko Moosa Manik, Niuma Mohamed and Mariyam Nazima as an unlucky lover in Easa Shareef-directed Emme Fahu Dhuvas (1997) which follows a devious woman who sunders her best-friend's upcoming marriage by creating false accusation and staging misleading impressions. He next starred in Ali Shameel's drama film Hithi Nimun (2001) opposite Mohamed Shavin, Mariyam Nisha and Sheereen Abdul Wahid, which follows the storyline of a stubborn young man who abandons his girlfriend when he discovers about her pregnancy. He was applauded for his performance as the short-tempered husband and a helpful friend, in the Abdul Faththaah-directed critically acclaimed television series, Thiyey Mihithuge Vindhakee (2003) which was considered as one of the best series production in television industry.

During those moments when Johnson's violent side emerged, according to an acquaintance Robert Heide, Johnson could be aggressive and short-tempered and speak in a deeper voice and, as Malcolm, would "become a very nasty, vicious man, looking for fights". This dual personality of Johnson's has been described as "a schizophrenic personality at work". When this happened, Johnson would often get in fights and wind up hospitalized and sedated, and friends would have to organize and raise money to bail Johnson out of jail or try to secure release from places like Bellevue. In the 1979 Village Voice article, "The Drag of Politics," by Steven Watson, and further elaborated upon by Stonewall historian Carter, it had perhaps been for this reason that other activists had been reluctant at first to credit Johnson for helping to spark the gay liberation movement of the early 1970s.

Mars situated in the 5th house generally gives a miserable domestic life, misfortunes through children and ill-health, whereas Saturn gives an evil mind, stupidity, illness, poverty, sorrow through children, variable fortune etc. Rahu though equally unfavourable makes one hard-hearted and unconventional, and Ketu, while proving bad in effects, gives one inclination towards spirituality. Mars situated in the 9th house makes one wield power and authority, be generous, become renowned for good qualities, affluent and happy but does not make one a dutiful son; Saturn makes one lead a lonely life and probably no marriage; Rahu makes one impolite and miserly, gives fame and wealth but a nagging and domineering wife, and Ketu makes one eloquent but short-tempered, haughty and bad in conduct. The Sun occupying the 5th house makes one impatient and intelligent but devoid of domestic peace and happiness, poor and short-lived, and when occupying the 9th house it gives enmity with spouse and much unhappiness.
This is mostly due to the fact that Kel often makes a sarcastic remark about Roger's baldness and short-tempered attitude and tends to injure him and damage the Rockmore house during his visits. He usually tolerates Kel's presence, due to his friendship with Kenan, but he has been prone to get mad with Kel when he goes too far in his stupid actions. In the episode, Get the Kel Out of Here, Roger bans Kel for good from his house after Kel almost killed him, refusing to listen or forgive him (In the finale of the same episode, Kenan added that the only reason that Roger allows Kel to come back to his house is because he jumped out of the bedroom window after Kel, hit a tree with force, and forgot all that happened). Though he's a caring father, Roger has little to no patience with Kenan's schemes and punished his oldest child multiple times as a result of his troublemaking.

While shooting an underwater scene in the Crays' backyard with their pet alligator, "Alice," Derek tries to dramatize the footage by climbing on her back, which causes her to get upset and try to shake him off.
During those years, Ministers who were perceived as not performing, were charged with criminal offences or found in a conflict of interest, lost their portfolios and/or resigned promptly, and in one instance were removed by the Assembly after being created Minister Without Portfolio.Future Lies with Fellow MLAs Okalik was perceived as strategic, intelligent, a very quick and thorough study in his work, while his adversaries characterized him as short-tempered and aggressive, especially in his second term. During his almost ten years in office he was a reliable advocate for Nunavut among Canadian First Ministers, leading a public challenge to Prime Minister Jean Chrétien on the terms of access to medical care for Nunavut,"Northern Premiers take on Chretien" revitalizing the Northern Premiers Forums, and being a founding member of the Council of the Federation. " About the film she added, "The Impossible is one of the most emotionally realistic disaster movies in recent memory – and certainly one of the most frightening in its epic re-creation of the catastrophic 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami." Justin Chang of Variety magazine gave a positive review, praising Bayona's directing and Sánchez's writing: "Collaborating again after their impressive 2007 debut feature, The Orphanage, Bayona and Sanchez get many things right here, starting with their decision to eschew a more panoramic view of the disaster to follow one family's journey from start to finish." About the performances of the main cast members he added, "Watts has few equals at conveying physical and emotional extremes, something she again demonstrates in a mostly bedridden role, and McGregor, in one of his better recent performances, manages to turn a simple phone call home into a small aria of heartbreak. Holland, in his live-action bigscreen debut, is wonderful as a kind, somewhat short-tempered kid who still has plenty to learn, setting the tone for similarly heartrending turns by young Joslin and Pendergast.
