Despite her dazzling career, Ayres Borghi-Zerni made relatively few recordings. She is best known for singing the role of Gilda in one of the first complete versions of Giuseppe Verdi's Rigoletto (with Giuseppe Danise as Rigoletto and Carlo Broccardi as Duca).
