Throughout the decade, he continued to portray tramps in various stage productions by Charles Hale Hoyt including A Black Sheep, On the Bowery, A Milk White Flag, A Day and a Night and A Society Tramp. After leaving Hoyt in 1892, Bloom and his wife (whom he married in 1892), known as "Miss Jane Cooper", toured the vaudeville circuit with their comedy act "A Picture of Life". Bloom played his usual tramp role while his wife played the comic foil - a "New England spinster" or a "city maiden." By 1909, Bloom's tramp persona had run its course and his career began to wane.

In the novels and game, he also uses wooden needles which he can throw with super speed. He protects his milk-white face from the noonday sun with long black hair, flowing black clothing and cape, and the shadow of a wide-brimmed hat. D is described as appearing as a youth between 17 and 18 years old, though D's age is unknown (although in the novel Pale Fallen Angel parts I and II, it is made known that he is at least 5,000 years old). His beauty is mesmerizing, often unintentionally wooing women and sometimes flustering men.

Legend has it that a farmer from Mobberley was taking a milk white mare to sell at the market in Macclesfield. Walking along the Edge, he reached a spot known locally as "Thieves Hole" where an old man clad in a grey and flowing garment stopped him. The old man offered the farmer a sum of money for his horse but the farmer refused, saying he could get a better price at the market. The old man told the farmer that he would be at this spot again that evening when the farmer returned, not having found a purchaser for the horse.

She would attach common readymade artifacts to a board, attach bags of colorful paint, whitewash everything, and then dip the assemblage into milk-white plaster. Mole blanco ("white mole") is a type of mole of the cuisine of Mexico. This type of thickened sauce is prepared with a mixture of the ingredients lightly roasted, including: peanuts without skin, skinless almonds, sunflower, pine nuts and white corn tortilla. The elements fried in oil are sliced banana, chopped apple, blonde raisins, sliced onion, pieces of chile güero and bits of habanero chile. These ingredients are then ground in a blender or in a molcajete, adding milk, white chocolate, and water or broth, along with seasoning items like garlic, cloves, allspice, cinnamon strips and anise.

The protoconch consists of three elevated whorls, milk-white, glassy, smooth, abruptly changing to the adult type of sculpture. The fifth whorl shows seven, the ninth with ten, short axial ribs, chiefly visible on the periphery, crossed by two strong spiral cords, more or less turgid at the intersections. I, Thighpaulsandra is the debut album by Thighpaulsandra. I showcased Thighpaulsandra's interests in krautrock, experimental and industrial music and featured his only single to date, "Michel Publicity Window". Closing song "Beneath the Frozen Lake of Stars" was originally recorded for a third album by Queen Elizabeth, which featured Thighpaulsandra and Julian Cope, but was revised and expanded for inclusion on this album. The vinyl edition was limited to 1000 copies on "moon's milk" white vinyl, with an additional 55 copies on amethyst-coloured vinyl; this smaller batch, along with being autographed, had its sleeve personally damaged by Thighpaulsandra to the extent that the recipient saw fit.

When the time was ripe and the world once more in mortal peril it was prophesied that this small band of warriors would ride out from the hill, trusting in their purity of heart to defeat Nastrond forever. Fundindelve had a guardian, the ancient wizard Cadellin Silverbrow, and the heart of the white magic was sealed inside a jewel, the Weirdstone of Brisingamen. At the beginning of the story, however, the Weirdstone has been lost, stolen centuries before by a farmer whose milk-white mare Cadellin had bought to complete the numbers in Fundindelve. The stone became a family heirloom and eventually found its way to Susan's mother, who passed it on to Susan, oblivious of its history and purpose.

According to folklore a fairy path (or 'passage', 'avenue', or 'pass') is a route taken by fairies usually in a straight line and between sites of traditional significance, such as fairy forts or raths (a class of circular earthwork dating from the Iron Age), "airy" (eerie) mountains and hills, thorn bushes, springs, lakes, rock outcrops, and Stone Age monuments. Ley lines and spirit paths, such as with corpse roads, have some similarities with these fairy paths. A fairy ring is also a path used by fairies, but in a circle, for dancing, as described by poet W. B. Yeats, "...the fairies dance in a place apart, Shaking their milk-white feet in a ring,..." The concept is usually associated with Celtic folklore, especially that of Ireland.

By the 17th century it clearly existed as a breed or type. Large, heavy, slow hounds were 'talbot-like', whatever their colour, though the 'milk white' was 'the true talbot'. In his poem "The Chase", published in 1735, William Somervile describes the use of "lime-hounds" (leash hounds) on the Scottish Borders to catch thieves, obviously referring to the bloodhound and the sleuth hound, but adds that the (white) talbot was the "prime" example of this type of hound. The origin of both the name and the animal is uncertain. In a quotation from about 1449, the king referred to John Talbot, 1st Earl of Shrewsbury as "Talbott, oure good dogge", perhaps as a play on his name, or in allusion to that family's heraldic badge.

Male upperside: brown, in fresh specimens generally uniform, in some slightly paler along a posterior area from base outwards on the forewing. This is more commune in the female than in the male. Underside: milk white. Forewing: a few very obscure specks along the costa, and a postdiscal transverse series of four transversely elongate spots, or short broad lines, pale brown; the spots of the latter arranged two subcostal and two posterior close to the tornal angle; beyond these is a continuous transverse broad brown line that gets paler posteriorly, from costa to dorsum, followed by a subterminal series of similarly-coloured transverse spots, one in each interspace; at the apex these are generally coalescent with the inner brown line; lastly an anteciliary dark brown line.

Unjustly robbed of his princely identity in a foreign land, Roswell becomes very friendly with the daughter of the king of that land. She, believing him to be of humble origins (and receiving not the slightest hint from him to the contrary), urges him to attend a tournament that has been arranged in order to find a suitable husband for her. On each of the three days of this tournament, Roswall, like Ipomadon, goes into the forest to hunt. On each occasion, however, he is approached by a knight in armour who exchanges his gear with the hero, so allowing Roswall to perform magnificently, though anonymously, at each day's jousting; first in white arms on a milk-white horse, then in red arms on a grey horse, and finally in green and red armour.

The latter took place in 1895, with longtime Chicago diamond star Cap Anson drawing the distinction through his A Runaway Colt. Poster for A Milk White Flag (1894) Hoyt was also responsible for two of Kelly and Anson's lesser roles: At the end of the 1888 season, he gave Anson a bit part one day in the role of Monk in one of his new pieces; Anson wore "old gray whiskers and an old man’s wig" and stalked forth and shouted, "Good marnin, me min; I want yez to git that hole complaited [completed] to-day." Those were all of his lines, and New York and Chicago players were present. Around Christmas that year, and then New Year’s Day of 1889 in New York, Kelly played a "tough baggage-smasher" in Hoyt’s A Tin Soldier.

The ceremony was held at the beginning of June, at the break of the southwest monsoon. For the ceremony, the king, clad in state robes (a paso with the peacock emblem (daungyut)), a long silk surcoat or tunic encrusted with jewels, a spire-like crown (tharaphu), and 24 strings of the salwe across his chest, and a gold plate or frontlet over his forehead) and his audience made a procession to the leya (royal fields). At the ledawgyi, a specially designated plot of land, milk-white oxen were attached to royal ploughs covered with gold leaf, stood ready for ploughing by ministers, princes and the kings. The oxen were decorated with gold and crimson bands, reins bedecked with rubies and diamonds, and heavy gold tassels hung from the gilded horns.

The Monroe Doctrine is described by Musser as a "comic allegory" that was "overtly political".:viii This has been noted particularly in its first context, occupying the fifth spot in the running order at the Vitascope's premiere; it came after Walton & Slavin, a burlesque boxing match between allegorical Uncle Sam and John Bull figures, and Band Drill (a section of Milk White Flag),:viii in which American soldiers march off to war.:27 Musser also compared it to the second film shown that night, Sea Waves at Dover, which shows detail of the waves at Dover in England battering the shore, reflecting the allegorical imagery used in this film.:27 The choice of patriotic narrative in the films may have been selected to allegorically fight an expected influx of similar devices to the Vitasope from European projection manufacturers,:27:viii or to warn the French film companies away from expanding their market into the Americas.

The forewings are milk-white, tinged with rosy pink along the costa, except at the base and along the dorsum beyond the middle. At the base is a tawny-red patch, wider on the dorsum than on the costa, narrowly darkened to black along its oblique outer margin. After an oblique fascia of the white ground-colour, which is produced outward along the dorsum, where it is tinged with bright ochreous, a rather oblique, mixed black and reddish-grey streak descends from the costa at one-fourth, crossing the cell, and bent outward and upward at its lower extremity enclosing above it a patch of the ground-colour profusely stippled with pale rosy grey, bounded on its outer side by a darker, tawny reddish grey quadrangular costal spot, extending downward to an almost circular ochreous spot at the end of the cell. The terminal area is thickly sprinkled with rust-brown, and contains some black spots, notably two on the costa before the apex, in strong contrast to the rosy pink by which they are separated and partially surrounded.
