Strabo names Clarus as the place of his death, which would later be a cult center in the territory of Colophon. An oracle had it that he would die when he would meet a better seer than himself. Born into a family of musicians, Fait began playing saxophone in his teenage years, gaining notoriety in 2002 when he accompanied Cuban musician Gendrickson Mena Diaz on a four-day fashion event hosted by Pitti Uomo. He has collaborated with Flavio Boltro, Elisabetta Guido, Marco Panascia, Joel Holmes, Phil Maturano, Antonio Zambrini, Attilio Zanchi, Tony Arco, Roberto Piermartire, Luigi Tognoli, and performed with others in clubs throughout Lombardy and Italy. In 2007, he founded the Fait Club Quintet. He also contributed to Mantic Ensemble, an album with Danilo Manto on pianoforte, Max Patrick on percussion, and Fait on soprano saxophone.

Both the Thriae and the Bee Maidens are credited with assisting Apollo in developing his adult powers, but the divination that Apollo learned from the Thriae differs from that of the Bee Maidens. The type of divination taught by the Thriae to Apollo was that of mantic pebbles, the throwing of stones, rather than the type of divination associated with the Bee Maidens and Hermes: cleromancy, the casting of lots. Honey, according to a Greek myth, was discovered by a nymph called Melissa ("Bee"); and honey was offered to the Greek gods from Mycenean times. Bees were associated, too, with the Delphic oracle and the prophetess was sometimes called a bee.

Mantic Games also released a series of dungeon skirmish games called Dwarf King's Hold which evolved into (and was replaced by) the dungeon-crawl game series Dungeon Saga, the initial game of which having the subtitle The Dwarf King's Quest. They do not share the same rules or game mechanics with Kings of War, but they use the same range of miniatures and are set in the same fictional world of Mantica. K'iche' daykeepers use puns to help remember and inform the meanings of the days. Divinatory techniques include the throwing and counting of seeds, crystals, and beans, and in the past also – apart from the count – gazing in a magical mirror (scrying), and reading the signs given by birds (auguries); during the Classic period, pictures of such birds were used as logograms for the larger time periods. Written in first-person narrative, the literary work was described by Paul C. Ray as a text that "recounts encounters of objective chance with their attendant shocks of recognition - encounters to produce their effect must be experienced." In the Huang–Lao tradition he is the model of a king turned immortal, and is associated with the transmission of various mantic and medical techniques. Many of today's new-wave thrash bands have been influenced by older groups in the genre, including Mantic Ritual, who incorporate a variety of stylistic traits reminiscent of Overkill and other thrash bands that had found success in the past. Overkill has also been cited as an influence on the groove metal genre; Dimebag Darrell was influenced by former guitarist Bobby Gustafson's performance on the albums Under the Influence and The Years of Decay, which ultimately led to Pantera changing their style from glam metal to thrash/groove metal as well as Terry Date producing Cowboys from Hell.
