John Francis Lickerish, known professionally as Francis Lickerish (born 11 April 1954, in Cambridge), is a British composer, guitarist and lutenist, and founder member of British art-rock band The Enid. Lickerish was a member of The Enid from its creation in 1974 until 1980, and appears on their first four studio albums and the two 'Live at Hammersmith' albums. He is an alumnus of the Finchden Manor school, as are fellow Enid founders Robert John Godfrey and Stephen Stewart. Lickerish appears uncredited as the session bass guitarist on the Kim Wilde song "Kids in America".

Secret Green is a British rock band, founded in 2007, by Francis Lickerish, Hilary Palmer and Jon Beedle. Recent additions to the band William Gilmour and Matt Hodge complete the line-up. Additional musicians Paul Carr, Dave Brooks, Jamie Brooks, Brian Mitchell and Mike Hicks are employed for live work. Guitarist, lutenist and composer Francis Lickerish is a founder member of cult band The Enid.

The Lickerish Quartet received critical praise upon its release by many critics, especially Andy Warhol and Vincent Canby, as being one of the first films with graphic sex to have Hollywood-like production values.The Lickerish Quartet trailer. Dover is also a member of the rock outfit The Lickerish Quartet alongside former Jellyfish members Roger Joseph Manning Jr. and Tim Smith. Dover is currently living in Los Angeles.

She began writing with Barnaby Lee and inspired by the new material, was encouraged to make an album by Guy Anderson who provided the financing and Francis Lickerish (from Secret Green), who arranged and produced the album for her. The songs on this album, 'Prairie Burn' are co-written over several years with Barnaby Lee, Wendy Thomson, Bogart Giner, Dzal Martin, Carrie Lennard, Claus Regli, Iain Whitmore and Francis Lickerish. Patti began her teaching career in Wuhan maple leaf international school with her life partner John Smith since 2011, she spent first few years teaching English even she only had limited ESL training, she later became a librarian. She was not married to John Smith, but her students still call her as Mrs. Smith.

The Enid are a British progressive rock band founded in 1973 by the keyboardist Robert John Godfrey, previously known for his work with Barclay James Harvest. Other core members have included founding guitarists Steve Stewart and Francis Lickerish, and longstanding drummer Dave Storey. The Enid's membership has undergone many changes, always with Godfrey at the helm. The current lineup consists of Godfrey, guitarist Jason Ducker and drummer Karl Thompson.

This marked the last time the three musicians played together until 2017. By the 2010s, Smith had relocated to Atlanta, while Manning and Dover stayed in Los Angeles. The Lickerish Quartet began forming in early 2017 when Manning reached out to Smith with the intent "to continue in the tradition of a lot of the pop/rock stylings" that he had appreciated. He then reached out to Dover as well.

Along with Robert John Godfrey and William Gilmour, he was one of the main contributors to The Enid's sound. He has also appeared as a session musician in several unexpected places, such as Kim Wilde’s "Kids in America", and on former Incredible String Band member Malcolm LeMaistre’s solo album. After a 20 year break from music, Lickerish began writing Secret Green’s To Wake the King album in 2006, which was released in May 2009.

After leaving The Enid he graduated from Sheffield Hallam University, later pursuing a career in counselling, and is a respected professional in the fields of adult addiction and family services, working at Clouds House, The Priory and Capio Nightingale Hospital. After a 20-year absence from the music industry, he formed a new band Secret Green, in 2006, who released their first album 'To Wake The King' in May 2009. Lickerish is married with three children and lives in Dorset, England.

Many of Metzger's films, including Score (1974), The Image (1975), The Opening of Misty Beethoven (1976) and Barbara Broadcast (1977), as well as his earlier softcore films, Camille 2000 (1969) and The Lickerish Quartet (1970), have been released in Blu-ray versions. With his 1978 feature The Cat and the Canary, Metzger distinguished himself as one of the few adult film auteurs to direct a dramatic feature outside of the adult erotic film genre. The film starred Honor Blackman, Edward Fox, Dame Wendy Hiller and Carol Lynley.

He also produced Seven Years in Tibet (1997), Cutthroat Island (1995), Chronicle of a Death Foretold (1987), Bloodline (1979), Giordano Bruno (1973), Sacco and Vanzetti (1971), Camille 2000, The Lickerish Quartet, the Marco Polo TV miniseries, and many others. Specifically, he was costume designer and production designer for a large series of biblical-inspired TV series in the TNT network, such as Moses, Joseph, Jesus of Nazareth, Jacob, Abraham, David, Genesis and Samson and Delilah, as well as, in his last work just before he died, in the TV series Cleopatra. He died in a road accident in Ouarzazate, Morocco, while filming on location for Cleopatra. As it appears in the credits, Jesus, a 1999 film distributed by CBS Television, was dedicated in his memory.

Radley Metzger (also known as Radley Henry Metzger, Radley H. Metzger and by the pseudonyms, "Jake Barnes", "Erich Farina" and "Henry Paris") (January 21, 1929 – March 31, 2017) was an American pioneering filmmaker and film distributor, most noted for popular artistic, adult-oriented films, including Camille 2000 (1969), The Lickerish Quartet (1970), Score (1974), The Private Afternoons of Pamela Mann (1974), The Image (1975), The Opening of Misty Beethoven (1976) and Barbara Broadcast (1977). According to one film reviewer, Metzger's films, including those made during the Golden Age of Porn (1969–1984), are noted for their "lavish design, witty screenplays, and a penchant for the unusual camera angle". Another reviewer noted that his films were "highly artistic — and often cerebral ... and often featured gorgeous cinematography". Film and audio works by Metzger have been added to the permanent collection of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York City.

A specially adapted 'Wall of Death' Indian motorcycle Wall of Death performances have appeared in various films including Spare a Copper (1941), There Is Another Sun (1951; titled The Wall of Death in the US), Scotland Yard: The Wall of Death (1956), The Lickerish Quartet (1970), Eat the Peach (1986), My House in Umbria (2003) and most notably Roustabout (1964) in which Elvis Presley rides the motorcycle.
