Lecithocera ladrone is a moth in the family Lecithoceridae. It was described by László Anthony Gozmány in 2002. It is found in Himachal Pradesh, India.

Ringgold was a veteran of the Wilkes expedition. The squadron stood out of Norfolk on 11 June 1853, rounded the Cape of Good Hope, and charted numerous islands and shoals in the Indian Ocean before arriving in China in March 1854. Here Commodore Matthew Calbraith Perry relieved Ringgold for medical reasons and gave command of the expedition to Lt. John Rodgers. Vincennes sailed on to survey the Bonin and Ladrone Islands and returned to Hong Kong in February 1855.

Diarrhoea and dysentery prevailed among the crew from Angier to Manila; after a fortnight there, cholera struck despite the overall cleanliness of the ship. Peacock lost seven crewmen, and many who did recover died later in the voyage of other diseases. No new case of cholera occurred after 2 November 1833 while Peacock was under way for Macao. Within two leagues of the Lemma or Ladrone islands, she took aboard a pilot after settling on a fee of thirteen dollars and a bottle of rum.

She arrived in Honolulu on the 16th and remained there until the 29th at which time she headed back toward the western Pacific. She made a stop at Guam in the Ladrone (now Marianas) Islands before arriving at Cavite in the Philippines on 20 January 1904. She operated in the Philippines for about a month and headed for the coast of China on 19 February. The warship reached Shanghai four days later and remained in the vicinity for a month before getting underway for the Philippines on 22 March.

Over the next few months, again with Alexander Agassiz embarked, she ranged into the South and Central Pacific, visiting the Marquesas, Paumotu, Society Islands, Cook Islands, Tonga, Fiji, Ellice, Gilbert, Marshall Islands, Caroline Islands and the Ladrone Islands. During the course of this cruise over a vast ocean basin, which Alexander Agassiz named "Moser Deep" in honor of Albatross captain, her distinguished passenger made thousands of dredgings, and soundings of the sea yielded siliceous sponges from 4,173 fathoms.

Montesano comes from a family involved in theatre, and he made his debut in 1966 in a show named Humor nero, alongside of Vittorio Metz. Later he became a very popular actor both on theatre and on television, thanks to his burlesque and brilliant style, and so during seventies he took part in several Italian comedies. He is probably best known for the role of Armando "Er Pomata" Pellicci in the cult movie Febbre da cavallo (1976), directed by Steno, but also for the role of Caleb, the good thief from Il ladrone (1980), directed by Pasquale Festa Campanile. Montesano won a David di Donatello as best new director for the movie A me mi piace (1985), in which he is both actor and director.

During this voyage Harry Clifford Fassett,[4] captain's clerk and photographer, recorded people, communities and scenes during this voyage using a glass-plate camera.[5] In January 1902 Moser was given command of the screw steamer USS Pensacola, which had served in the Civil War and was then serving as a training ship at the Yerba Buena Training Station in San Francisco, California.
