In the fall of 2005, following a school-wide survey of parents and students, Flowers students were required to wear a school uniform that consisted of grey slacks or grey pleated skirts, white polo or oxford shirts consisting of the school logo, a hunter green blazer or v-neck sweater vest, and v-neck long-sleeve sweater, all bearing the school logo, as well as a black belt and black shoes. The class of 2006 was the first senior class required to wear uniforms. The school uniform policy remains, but is no longer as strict.

The Jets changed their uniforms again in 2019, abandoning the team's classic look for the second time. The new design replaced the dark hunter green with a medium green that the team calls "Gotham Green," and again added black to the traditional green-and-white color scheme. The primary logo was modified to be more football-shaped, with the "JETS" wordmark adjusted to make the "J" the same height as the other letters and moved slightly downward, the redesigned football graphic partially covering the lower portion of the letters "E" and "T". The serif outline "NY" behind the "JETS" wordmark was eliminated, and replaced with "NEW YORK" centered above it in smaller sans-serif italics.

Lambeau, a Notre Dame alumnus, borrowed its Irish's navy blue and gold team colors, much as George Halas borrowed his Illinois alma mater's for the Chicago Bears. As a result, the early Packers were often referred to as the "Bays" or the "Blues" (and even occasionally as "the Big Bay Blues"). By 1950, Green Bay replaced navy blue with kelly green, but kept what was by then a lighter shade of athletic gold. Navy blue was kept as a secondary color, seen primarily on sideline capes, but was quietly dropped on all official materials shortly thereafter. In 1958, this kelly green was replaced by a darker hunter green; it and athletic gold have served as the team colors since.

The 1972 Hornet was notable for being one of the first American cars to offer a special luxury trim package created by a fashion designer. Named for Italian fashion designer Dr. Aldo Gucci, the Gucci package was offered only on the Sportabout, the four-door wagon with a single sloping hatch replacing the then traditional window/tailgate door. The option included special beige-colored upholstery fabrics on thickly padded seats and inside door panels (with red and green striping) along with Gucci logo emblems and a choice of four exterior colors: Snow White; Hunter Green; Grasshopper Green, and Yuca Tan. The Gucci model proved to be a success, with 2,583 produced in 1972 (and 2,252 more for 1973) Sportabouts so equipped.

This photo from 2011 shows the 1998–2018 Jets uniform, which was generally consistent during that time with some variations in tailoring and coloration. Note the shoulder inserts designed to simulate the 1963–77 striping pattern on the sleeves. Upon taking over as administrator and head coach in 1997, Bill Parcells took the initiative and began the process of re- forming the team's identity, which included redesigning the team's uniforms, logos and wordmarks for the 1998 season. The team changed its primary uniform color from the bright kelly green to the darker hunter green, abandoned black as a trim color, and replaced the stylized "JETS" wordmark with a modified version of the 1965-77 logo, this one oval rather than football-shaped and with a somewhat "cleaner" appearance, with starker lines defining the lettering and football graphic.

Testaverde eventually succeeded Foley as the starter and led the Jets to their division title. On defense, New York added former Miami Dolphins linebacker Bryan Cox. The offseason also saw the first major overhaul of the Jets' uniforms and logos since 1978. The team changed its primary color from kelly green to hunter green, eliminated black which had been added in 1990 as a trim color, and abandoned the solid green helmets with the modern “JETS” wordmark in favor of white helmets with two green parallel stripes down the center, as worn from 1965-77, but with a green facemask. The new primary/helmet logo resembles the 1965-77 version but is oval rather than football-shaped and has a somewhat “cleaner” appearance, with starker lines defining the word “JETS” in thick sans-serif italics in front of the “NY” in serif outline lettering, and the miniature football at bottom center. This logo was also added to the jersey front, by the player’s left shoulder.

Alpha chapter Nu Kappa Epsilon was founded on August 25, 1994 at the College of William & Mary. Although NKE is not a social sorority nor connected to any professional music organizations, it considers itself a sisterhood, providing a place for women with a love for music to connect. Each NKE chapter supports its own philanthropy and promotes the use of music to "improve and empower day-to-day life." The sorority flower is the white rose, and its colors are hunter green and burgundy.
