In 2006 Mœnia released a new album, named Solar, which follows a more 1980s electropop style, including more electric guitar sounds. Also includes a duet with Denisse Guerrero (of Belanova) called "Me Equivoque".

The album title is a word coined by Yaida. "Daiya" reads "Yaida" in reversed order in Japanese, and "monde" means "the world" in French. That is, the title shows "Yaiko World". Moreover, it is an equivoque with "Diamond" of Diamond Head which produces her.

Following their record deal with Sony Music Colombia, Ventino began working on their debut album. On October 14, 2016 they released their debut single, "Me Equivoque". Its video reached over 95 million views. They spent the remainder of 2016 and 2017 releasing a string of singles leading up to their self-titled debut album.

She is renowned for publishing the memoirs of her father, Jamil Mardam Bey, dating from 1939 to 1945. Her first book was initially written in French entitled, "La Syrie et la France: Bilan d'une equivoque, 1939-1945" (1994), and then translated into English entitled, "Syria's Quest for Independence, 1939-1945" (1997). The book has also been translated into Arabic, entitled "Awrak Jamil Mardam Bey".

Sere Una Niña Buena ("I'll be a Good Girl"), her first discographic production, became a mild success in Seoane's show business career. It peaked at number 42 in the Billboard Top Latin Album Chart. the first single "me equivoque" peaked at number 18 in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks Chart. Que no me faltes tu was her second single, which was successful, it peaked number 6 in the Billboard Hot Latin Tracks Chart.

In 1983 Harvey participated in a first group exhibition at the Old Port of Montréal, where she stood out as a talented and charismatic artist. In 1984 her work was exhibited at the International Arts Festival held at the Palais des congrès de Montréal, at an exhibition of seven painters at the Old Presbytery of Saint-Bruno, and an exhibition at the Mont-Tremblant Festival of Colours where Harvey won the Montréal Businessmen's Award. In 1986 she had a solo exhibition at the Maison d'art Saint-Laurent and in a duo at the Galerie Bernard Larocque in Rimouski. In 1987, she exhibited as a group at the L'Heureux Gallery in Trois-Rivières and then as a solo artist at the Galerie L'Autre Equivoque in Ottawa. In October 1987 she held a major solo exhibition at the Minigal Gallery in Montréal.

Blum then convinced them to become a musical duo and arranged their first gig together at the Alfonso López Michelsen Building in a celebration of the Cesar Department foundation. Dangond and De la Espriella performed in more than 250 shows throughout 2003, most of them in December with 28 presentations.
