When he reaches the plain of the River Liffey near Kildare, the forces of nature on which he swore kill him: the wind leaves his lungs, the sun scorches him, the earth entombs him. The exterior of the temple is covered with magnificent stucco ornamentation woven across beautiful intricacies of cut-brick designs. The archeological expedition and restoration of this building was done by the Carnegie Institution of Washington from 1925 to 1928. A key member of this restoration was Earl H. The amber was produced by the extinct Hymenaea protera, which formerly grew on Hispaniola, across northern South America and up to southern Mexico. The amber specimen, number Do-4629-B; which entombs the holotype, is currently preserved in the Division of Invertebrate Zoology collections at the in Stuttgart, Germany. The holotype was collected from an undetermined amber mine, in fossil bearing rocks of the Cordillera Septentrional mountains, northern Dominican Republic.

Anthophorula persephone is known from two fossils insects which are inclusions in a single, transparent chunk of Dominican amber. The amber was produced by the extinct Hymenaea protera, which formerly grew on Hispaniola, across northern South America and up to southern Mexico. The amber specimen, number DR-KL1, which entombs the holotype and the additional partial adult, is currently preserved in the Division of Invertebrate Zoology collections at the American Museum of Natural History in New York City, United States. The holotype fossil is composed of a complete adult individual that was collected from an undetermined amber mine, in fossil bearing rocks of the Cordillera Septentrional mountains, northern Dominican Republic.

Eickwortapis is an extinct monotypic genus of sweat bee in the Halictidae subfamily Halictinae which contains the single species Eickwortapis dominicana. The genus name Eickwortapis is derived from a combination of Eickwort in honor of halictid systematist Dr. George Eickwort and the Latin apis, meaning "bee". The species is named in reference to the Miocene (Burdigalian stage) Dominican amber from deposits on the island of Hispaniola which entombs the specimens. The species, averaging long, was described from two partial females and a single complete male specimen in one polished piece of amber which is housed in the Poinar Amber Collection at the University of California, Berkeley.

The fossils were first studied by entomologist John LaPolla of the Smithsonian Institution.
