Link does not normally speak; he usually makes grunting or yelling noises instead of using words and has a companion who speaks for him. One exception is The Wind Waker where he says "Come on!" to make other characters or objects follow him. Link does speak in the cartoon series and the CD-i games produced by Philips, but these are not considered canonical with respect to the principal series. In all Zelda games except Breath of the Wild, the player can name Link, and NPCs will refer to him by that name.

Morrissey had a theme song, sung in duet with Vic, which began with Morrissey claiming "I like watches, I like woods" and Vic countering with "He likes various consumer goods.".

The collection included paintings by FCB Cadell, with whom the Wood family had a personal connection through his father, a surgeon, Francis Cadell FRCSEd (1844-1909). There were also paintings by SJ Peploe and Leslie Hunter.

Robert Copsey of Digital Spy gave the song four stars out of five and a positive review, stating: > Therefore, it comes as little surprise that his latest chart botherer - a > rendition of Kish Mauve's 2009 electro-rock hit 'Come On' - is far more than > a note-for-note rehash. "Walk away, that's what you do," he bawls innocently > over bobbing synths courtesy of Richard X, before defiantly calling "come > on, come on" to his contrary lover. In fact, even after repeated listens, > Young's lounge-pop reinvention still sounds like a different number > altogether.
Walker, "Part Six: Episode Guide-2.04: Meat" p. 147 He singled out a scene where Gwen turns "a gesture of affection" toward Rhys "into a teasing come-on" to Jack by making eye-contact with the latter whilst kissing the former as characteristic of the "moral ambiguity" which makes her "such a great character".Walker, "Part Six: Episode Guide-2.04: Meat" pp. 147–148 He also felt that whilst they did not have much to do, Tosh, Owen and Ianto had some good scenes which further demonstrated "Tregenna's adeptness at handling the show's regular characters".

At this moment Sepoy (now Lance Naik) Lalla (sic) came across a Major in his regiment, 150 yards from the enemy line, lying completely exposed in the open and trying to bandage a grievous wound. Lalla dragged him a few yards into a very slight depression, only a few inches deep, and there bound up the Major's wounds. Whilst doing so, he heard other cries for help and sallying forth dragged four more of his comrades into the meagre shelter and bound up their wounds. Meanwhile, it had come on to rain hard and a pitiless icy wind sprang up.

The railways had regained control of their own finances in August 1921 and were again dependent on their own resources. However, a large number of former military lorries had come on to the second hand market and, with no system of licensing in place, anyone who wished could set up as a common carrier. In August 1921, James Cowie, the NCC's manager, estimated that 50 000 tons of goods traffic was being lost annually. Ireland had been partitioned in 1921 and in May 1922 the newly created Northern Ireland government set up a commission to enquire into the railways operating in Northern Ireland.

Now you come on to work here to-morrow morning and I'll know before night whether you are really a high-priced man or not. This seems to be rather rough talk. And indeed it would be if applied to an educated mechanic, or even an intelligent laborer. With a man of the mentally sluggish type of Schmidt it is appropriate and not unkind, since it is effective in fixing his attention on the high wages which he wants and away from what, if it were called to his attention, he probably would consider impossibly hard work.
With the end of their Decca/London association at hand, The Rolling Stones were finally free to release their albums (cover art and all) as they pleased. However, their departing manager Allen Klein dealt the group a major blow when they discovered that they had inadvertently signed over their entire 1960s American copyrights to Klein and his company ABKCO, which is how all of their material from 1963's "Come On" to Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out! The Rolling Stones in Concert has since been released solely in America by ABKCO Records. The band would remain incensed with Klein for decades for that act.

Terry has been part of a popular meme picturing him taking part in great moments in history and fiction following his decision to come on to the pitch to lift the European Cup in full kit despite being suspended for the 2012 UEFA Champions League Final; he repeated this when Chelsea won the 2013 UEFA Europa League Final, in which he did not play due to injury. These included the fall of the Berlin Wall, the freeing of Nelson Mandela and the triumph of Rocky Balboa. Over the summer of 2012 this developed into his celebrating current sporting achievements such as 2012 Summer Olympics medal wins by Team GB.
Killbilly originated in 1986, when its guitarist, Alan Wooley, wrote and recorded the cassette "Foggy Mountain Anarchy" entirely by himself. At the time, Wooley was performing with the punk rock band the White Shapes. He then sent the cassette in to KNON DJ Craig "Niteman" Taylor, who liked it so much that he called Wooley to invite his entire band to come on to his show to perform. Wooley then admitted that there was no "band", and that he had recorded the album by himself, to which Taylor replied that, given that Taylor knew how to sing and play harmonica, they should make Killbilly a real band.

Kirker Butler wrote the episode. This is the first storyline the show has produced which focuses largely on Herbert. Originally, the Herbert storyline was designed to be longer, and several other gags had been created showing Herbert attempting to come on to Chris, but broadcasting standards were nervous about the episode and forced the show to reduce the amount of time spent on the storyline. When Herbert comes to the house to tell Peter and Lois that Chris broke his window, he was meant to say more, but it was cut; one scene was intended to have Peter replying with "If he wants you to do a job, give him the best job you've ever given".

In another of the examples of the 1982 Steelers defense being more opportunistic than impregnable, Mel Blount answered with an interception of Dan Fouts, but the play was nullified by a holding penalty on the Steelers. With new life, Fouts moved the Chargers offense down the field for a touchdown that came on an 8-yard pass to tight end Kellen Winslow and closed the Steelers’ lead to 28-24. On their ensuing offensive possession, the Steelers offense was able to grind out a couple of first downs to get close to midfield before John Goodson had to come on to punt. But instead of pinning the Chargers deep, Goodson, a barefoot punter, shanked one for only 20 yards to the Chargers 36-yard line.

New Zealander Craig McMillan, meanwhile, conceded twenty-eight runs from his only over. Despite Nic Pothas scoring 59 off 39 balls, the Hawks were nowhere near keeping up with the required pace, and Middlesex bowler Irfan Pathan was a main cause of that – he took three for 16 from four overs, as Hampshire finished on 192 for 7.

Produce was exported as far as Victoria and California. The relationship was far from one-sided. The Tainui tribe provided food to the European settlers, and "the present European population…would have been literally starved out of the country but for the extraordinary exertions made by the aboriginal inhabitants to supply them with cheap provisions", as the Southern Cross newspaper reported in 1844. A year later, when the less than 4,000 settlers of Auckland were under threat from an attack by Ngāpuhi from the south, Tainui rangatira Te Wherowhero responded to a request to assist with the planned attack, "You must fight me if you come on to Auckland; for these Europeans are under my protection", referring to Auckland as the "hem of his cloak" and placing it under his personal tapu.

Lewis' finest moment on the tour came in the second half of the second test in Wigan. After coming on as a replacement for injured winger Eric Grothe (he come on to play 5/8 with Brett Kenny moving to the centres and Mal Meninga to the wing), Lewis fired a bullet-like 20 metre cut-out pass to Meninga who then scored in the corner. Although the Kangaroos had soundly beaten Great Britain until that point of the series, Lewis' pass had a psychological effect on the Lions who were left wondering just how good the Australian's really were if they could afford to leave someone on the bench who could pass like that. Those long cut-out passes (something he learned playing junior rugby union and playing backyard football with his brothers) would become a feature of Lewis' game over the next 10 years.
