Bobby Dickson (born 17 May 1955 in Glasgow) is a Scottish retired football player. Dickson began his career with Queen's Park, and spent 10 years at Hampden, before joining Glasgow neighbours Clyde in 1983. He spent four years with the Shawfield side, making over 100 appearances. He had short spells with Stenhousemuir and then Queen of the South in the era of George Cloy before retiring in 1988.

Rule Supreme missed the next two seasons with injury problems returning as a twelve-year-old in the early part of 2008. He finished unpaced behind Hi Cloy in the Grade II Kinloch Brae Chase at Thurles in January and was last of the eight runners behind The Listener in the Hennessy Gold Cup a month later. In 2009 Rule Supreme was bought by Michael Winters and competed in the amateur Point-to-point circuit. He ran ten times, winning races at Dawstown, Ballindenisk and Ballingarry.

Be My Native was retired from racing to become a breeding stallion at the Ballylinch Stud in Ireland. The best of his flat runners was Artan who won the Premio Presidente della Repubblica. He was much more successful as a National Hunt stallion, siring numerous top-class horses and by 1995 he was covering more than 200 mares a year. His best jumpers included Native Upmanship, Rhinestone Cowboy, Harbour Pilot (Dr P. J. Moriarty Novice Chase), Hi Cloy (Melling Chase), Ned Kelly (Irish Champion Hurdle) and Watson Lake (Drinmore Novice Chase).

Following two seasons in the NASL with the nascent Toronto Blizzard, Busby returned to Scotland and joined Morton (scoring on his league debut for the Greenock club) before becoming player-manager of Dumfries club Queen of the South in 1982. After two seasons with little success, Busby retired in 1984. Former players, Ted McMinn, Jimmy Robertson and George Cloy have all subsequently been interviewed by the club and spoken well of Busby. Crawford Boyd cited a difference of opinion with Busby as being behind his own departure from Queens.

Newmill returned to hurdling in the early part of the 2005/2006 season. He started a 50/1 outsider when finishing fourth behind Brave Inca in the Morgiana Hurdle and then ran third at odds of 40/1 behind Brave Inca and Harchibald (ahead of Macs Joy) in the December Festival Hurdle. In both of these races he was ridden by Andrew McNamara. On 9 January, Newmill started at odds of 5/1 for the Kinloch Brae Chase over two and a half miles at Thurles Racecourse, in which his opponents included Strong Project, Hi Cloy and Native Upmanship.

An unknown author anonymously wrote a poem called Don Leon that, according to Bernard Grebanier, "depicts Byron as having wooed Giraud with gifts when they first met, and to have busied himself with developing the boy's mind". The second time around they were runners- up in season 1985–86 to Dunfermline Athletic, also in the Second Division. In his two spells at the club Robertson scored a total of 89 goals and he's tied tenth in the all-time goalscoring charts for the Dumfries club alongside Ian Reid. For many Queen of the South supporters, Robertson is best remembered for the number of times he glided past a befuddled right full back before swinging in another pinpoint left foot cross. Allan Ball, Ted McMinn, Tommy Bryce, Nobby Clark and George Cloy have all since been interviewed by the Queen of the South official website and named Robertson as one of the best players they played beside at the club.

At Becher's Brook for the second time the first dozen remained tightly grouped consisting of Chelsea Harbour, Mr. Pointment, Comply or Die, the grey D'Argent, Butler's Cabin, Snowy Morning, Idle Talk, Bewley's Berry, Knowhere, Simon, Mon Mome and Hedgehunter; Butler's Cabin fell there. Knowhere and Simon were beginning to lose touch when unseated at Valentine's fence, where Turko also fell. Joint-favourite Cloudy Lane had never been in the front rank and now looked too far off the pace to mount a challenge, as did Nadover, Bailey Breeze and Hi Cloy, with Cornish Sett and Milan Deux Mille tailed off with five fences to jump. D'Argent also looked like he was just starting to drop away when he fell four fences from home.

In 1999 students at NDSU worked with Professor Douglas Blanks Hindman to launch ThunderRadio, a Shoutcast Web radio station, and apply for a low-power FM license. After Hindman left NDSU for a position at a university in the state of Washington, Cloy Tobola, who was a doctoral student and graduate assistant at the time, took up the cause. With the help of Tobola and several students, what is now KNDS came together. About the same time, a group affiliated with the Fargo Theatre (later known as Radio Free Fargo) organized to start a community- focused station. These groups combined their efforts and license applications, and KNDS-LP began operating in 2004. Some have argued that KNDS-LP was created in response to the loss of college radio in Fargo after NDSU-owned KDSU 91.9 FM became a public radio station through North Dakota Public Radio (now Prairie Public) on NDPR's launch in 1999.
