The Archaeological Museum of Ventotene is located on the ground floor of the Bourbon castle, seat of the Town Council. It contains finds from the island, the seabed and the wreckages of Roman ships around the island, as well as a large model of the island during the Augustan age with the Imperial residence and connected structures, such as the port and other villas. Unfortunately, all statues from Villa Giulia have disappeared or been sold in indiscriminate plundering over the centuries, and all that remains is a marble head bust of emperor Tiberius, on display in the museum. In July 2009, archaeologists announced the discovery of a "graveyard" of five ancient Roman ships in the deep waters off Ventotene, with their pristine cargoes of olive oil, garum and metal ingots.

The music video was filmed on 15 June 2008 in the Mojave Desert, California, the same location used for the music videos The Killers – Don't Shoot Me Santa and The All American Rejects – It Ends Tonight. Several pieces of the plane parts seen in the music video are pieces used in the opening episodes of television series LOST. The video itself is set around a scrap yard (the Mojave Airport & Spaceport), with wreckages of planes and engines around a desert, opening with singer Rob Hawkins pushing a motorbike through the desert (A reference to McQueen's film The Great Escape) the video continues to show the band playing in the scrapyard as well as walking around it, and as the video progresses the band are put through a sand storm. The video was directed by Paul Minor, who has previously directed videos for Queens of The Stone Age.

Mustafa Ertuğrul's memoirs Statue of Mustafa Ertuğrul in Antalya, Turkey Ben-my-Chree on fire and sinking after having been hit by shore fire while in port in Kastelorizo Ertuğrul was recently rediscovered in Turkey thanks to research done on him and on the shipwrecks off the coast in Ağva BayNot to be confused with the town of Ağva on the Black Sea coast and near Istanbul, also significant for its wreckages of submarines dating, this time, from the Second World War and commonly referred to as "Hitler's lost fleet". See near Kemer in Antalya Province by the skin diver and amphora collector Mustafa Aydemir. A book, based on the account that he had typewritten himself in 1934, on Atatürk's personal encouragement, "Ben bir Türk zabitiyim" (I am a Turkish officer), was re-edited by Aydemir and supplemented with photographs and archive documents, notably from France. It was published for the first time in 2004, subsequently running into several editions.
