Worriers are a Brooklyn- based punk rock band formed by singer, guitarist, and songwriter Lauren Denitzio in 2011, who was previously a member of the Measure and is also a visual artist and a published author. Denitzio (who was credited as Lauren Measure on the group's first recordings) has been the sole constant in the Worriers' lineup, with Mikey Erg, Lou Hanman, John McLean, Rachel Rubino, Nick Psillas, and Audrey Zee Whitesides among Denitzio's most frequent collaborators. The band released their first single Past Lives on No Idea Records in May 2011. After a second single, Sinead O'Rebellion through Yo-Yo Records, Worriers teamed up with Don Giovanni Records for the seven-song EP Cruel Optimist in October 2013.

Mass broke up in 1981."The Worriers" (Marina Merosi, ZigZag March 1984, p12-13) Allen and Cox formed The Wolfgang Press in 1983, while Asquith and Briottet went on to form Renegade Soundwave in 1986. Labour of Love was reissued on CD in November 2005, with the two tracks from the single included.

The band continued to write long distance, and in 2017 they released a fourth album, Always Why. In late August and early September 2018 they supported Australian band Camp Cope on a partial UK and European tour. Hanman has also played in Philadelphia based bands Worriers and Katie Ellen, as well as being an occasional touring bassist for Olympia, Washington band RVIVR. Minto plays in Bristol based bands Dogeyed and Hell Maybe.

George William Joy's painting The Bayswater Omnibus, 1895, depicts middle-class social life in this English late Victorian-era scene. A daguerreotype of a Victorian couple, 1840s or 1850s The centrality of the family was a dominant feature for all classes. Worriers repeatedly detected threats that had to be dealt with: working wives, overpaid youths, harsh factory conditions, bad housing, poor sanitation, excessive drinking, and religious decline. The licentiousness so characteristic of the upper class of the late 18th and early 19th centuries dissipated.

When Annalise confronts Connor about Wes' death, Connor has an outburst where he says hurtful things after she calls him "paranoid and broken" and someone who's afraid to live alone and trust anyone since he was a child. Annalise understands Connor and asks the group to forgive him, saying he might kill himself if they didn't, thus making it clear that she knows about Connor's suicidal thoughts. She has also referred few times to herself saying she and Connor are "worriers" and are similar in nature.

"Sounds from a Town I Love" (sometimes incorrectly referred to as "Sounds from the Town I Love") is a 2001 comedy short film of approximately three minutes, written and directed by Woody Allen. The film was first shown during The Concert for New York City. The film consists purely of cell-phone conversation snippets of twenty-two random people walking through the streets of New York City. Ranging from complainers to neurotic worriers conversing about bizarre or amusing situations, they and their comments are unrelated to one another.

His persecutors bore such names as "the Middleman" (who operated the Air Loom), "the Glove Woman" and "Sir Archy" (who acted as "repeaters" or "active worriers" to enhance Matthews' torment or record the machine's activities) and their leader, a man called "Bill, or the King".
