Appearing in numerous national television commercials her most notable role is her Canadian Comedy Awards winning viral video "Sure Lock: A True Poo Story".

Rouge was considered provocative, so was only seen on "women of the night." Some women used burnt matchsticks to darken eyelashes, and geranium and poppy petals to stain the lips. Vaseline became high in demand because it was used on chapped lips, as a base for hair tonic, and soap. Toilet waters were introduced in the early 1900s, but only lavender water or refined cologne was admissible for women to wear.

In the United States, the program airs on Comedy Central. The show has started the careers of notable Canadian comedians, including Brent Butt, Gavin Crawford, Shaun Majumder, Russell Peters, Pete Zedlacher and Harland Williams and has showcased comedians such as Trent McClellan, Darcy Michael and Eric Tunney. Most episodes of the series featured a single comedian performing a half-hour set, although a number of "gala" episodes featuring several comedians were also aired as specials. Even for Mizoguchi, who had a deep relationship with actress Kinyo Tanaka, while Chieko's younger brother's wife was a de facto wife, Tazuko was already a past existence and more than just a clerk. Mizoguchi, who had not been blessed with hits for a long time, revived with the hit of “Women of the Night” (1948, 夜の女たち). And in 1952, “Nishitsuru Ichijo”(西鶴一代女), filmed with Kinyo, won the director's award at the Venice International Film Festival, and immediately pushed Mizoguchi into a master of the world. Kinyo entered the supervisory business and directed “Koibun” (1953, 恋文) for the first time. It has been 17 years since the “First Appearance” taken by Tazuko. Mizoguchi continued to receive high acclaim for “Ametsuki Monogatari” (1953, 雨月物語) and “Yamao Daigo” (1954, 山椒大夫), and “Yang Guifei” (1955, 楊貴妃), “New·Heike Monogatari” (1955, 新·平家物語).
