This station opened on July 28, 1906. The station was renovated in 2005-2006 at a cost of $13.83 million. The 2007 artwork here is called Seasons by Philemona Williamson. It consists of stained glass windows on the platform windscreens depicted events related to the four seasons of meteorology.
Chassis 0359GT was the second example produced. It sported a unique coupé coachwork designed by Giovanni Michelotti and realized by Vignale. The extraordinary shape included a wrap-around front and rear windscreens. The front received a large oval grille and the rear fenders had small fins protruding upwards.

Krishnan In 2015 on the request of his friends, Acharya designed this graphic as a unique flag for the annual temple festival in his village consisting of a graphic of Hanuman with black outlines and saffron shades. It was posted on social media and became a popular image across nation,with vehicles sporting the stickers of the graphic on their rear windscreens. In 2017, a trend was noticed in Bangalore with the Hanuman graphic spotted across windscreens of several vehicles in the city. Acharya gets no royalties from sticker creators or manufacturers, though he states he is pleased his work is being seen by others and that his work went viral in 3 years.

During these decades, Zagato continued building a variety of aerodynamic cars. On August 12, 2005, JALways Flight 58 operated by a McDonnell Douglas DC-10 from Fukuoka to Honolulu experienced left-wing engine trouble shortly after takeoff. The aircraft immediately returned to Fukuoka Airport. Some engine parts fell on the Sharyo district of Fukuoka and several people were slightly injured and parked car windscreens damaged.

On the morning of 10 October 1940 Drummond was part of a patrol east of Brighton. A Dornier 17 was intercepted and all 9 Spitfires of the patrol descended on it. The Triplex Safety Glass Company Ltd was founded in 1912 by Kent- born Reginald Delpech (30 March 1881 - 29 May 1935). The company was established in 1912 to build laminated windscreens in Britain, under French patents. On 9 September 1929 Triplex formed a joint venture company with Pilkington in St Helens. The company is now part of Pilkington Automotive.
The fin and rudder together were straight edged and round topped. The fabric covered fuselage was flat sided, with a rounded decking. The two occupants sat in separate cockpits, the forward one at the wing leading edge and the second close behind over mid-chord. The cockpits were open but fitted with windscreens and short sidescreens.

Forty were exported to Trinidad and Tobago for use by the National Bus Company. Nederlandse Spoorwegen in the Netherlands purchased 25 on behalf of their bus subsidiaries NZH, Westnederland, Centraal Nederland and Zuidooster. Problems with windscreen glare resulted in the windscreens being removed and a different version being fitted. In France, Dijon purchased six, while St Étienne Municipality purchased 20.

Triplex made laminated and toughened windscreens and windows for the automotive, rail, marine and aerospace sectors. Particularly widespread is the use of so-called "triplex" adhesives, which result from the bonding of two or more glasses - single or safety - usually via polyvinylbutyric (PVB) membranes. The glazing is welded by heating and later pressing. Triplex glasses exhibit the maximum impact resistance.
Northwestern stair This elevated station has three tracks and two slightly offset side platforms. The D train stops here at all times, and the center express track is not normally used in service. Both platforms have cream-colored windscreens and red canopies, both supported by green frames and columns, for most of their centers. Their ends have steel waist-high fencing.
Both have windscreens and the rear cockpit has a prominent headrest. The Shershen's tailplane is mounted at mid-fuselage height, with an angle of incidence that can be adjusted for trimming. Additionally, there is a port elevator trim tab. The rudder is broad and rounded, extending down to the keel on all models, though two styles of fin have been used.
In August 2010 it was reported that a man had been jailed for two weeks for contravening section 298A for injuring the religious feelings of Muslims by leaving cards on the windscreens of cars he believed to belong to Muslims which were parked in the car park of a condominium. The cards bore information about the Prophet Muhammad which was said to be "calculated to insult Muslims"..

This station opened with the first part of the Jerome Avenue Line on June 2, 1917 as a shuttle service between Kingsbridge Road and 149th Street. Only the southbound platform was in use at Kingsbridge Road. This was in advance of through service to the IRT Lexington Avenue Line, which began on July 17, 1918. This station was rehabilitated in 2004 with new canopies and windscreens.
The Alfa Romeo Canguro is a concept car designed by Giorgetto Giugiaro at Bertone. The car is based on the chassis of an Alfa Romeo TZ and was shown at the 1964 Paris Motor Show. The body is made of fiberglass rather than aluminium and it features one of the first glued in windscreens in a car. The name "Canguro" means Kangaroo in Italian.
The structure was Art Deco/Art Moderne in style, with decorative pilasters and a chevron panel. The platforms had copper windscreens, also in Art Deco style. A north-south pedestrian underpass crossed the traffic circle, with stairs leading from the underpass to the station entrance. Only the north half of the underpass was originally planned; public pressure resulted in the addition of the south half.
The 2005 artwork here is called A Space Odyssey by Ellsworth Ausby. It consists of stained glass windows depicting space travel on the platform windscreens. Just west of this station, there is a short section of trackway continuing straight which once led to the Broadway Ferry Spur. As now configured, westbound trains run over the Williamsburg Bridge, connecting to the BMT Nassau Street Line in Manhattan.

Just south of this station is a spur branching off towards the Linden Shops & Yard.
Along with Futuron, Blacktron was one of the first unified subthemes in Space. The set designs were based around a black and yellow color scheme with transparent yellow windscreens and transparent red highlights. Blacktron minifigures wore black jumpsuits akin to today's military pilots, with white trim and opaque black visors. Blacktron was a major step forward in set design from the rather clunky designs of "Classic" Space.

In addition to the installation of a new field surface, a press box and a video booth were also added, and the bleachers were expanded to a capacity of 5,000. Team locker rooms were added in 2013, and in August 2014 branding windscreens were installed.
The MS.250 was a parasol-wing monoplane with swept-back wings, similar to the Morane-Saulnier MS.230, but differed in having a new tail. The cockpits had windscreens, and the rear cockpit had a gun ring. The pilot-instructor manned the front cockpit, and the trainee observer manned the rear cockpit. A second aircraft was built with a more powerful engine as the MS.251.

Along the west side of McDonald Avenue, the remains of the Culver Shuttle's fourth track are visible behind the windscreens of the Coney Island- bound platform and more remains show the two-track turnoff just before entering Ditmas Avenue.

It consists of stained glass panels on the platform windscreens featuring scenes from various works of literature written by four authors, Sholom Aleichem, James Baldwin, Nicholasa Mohr, and Edgar Allan Poe, all of whom have lived in or wrote about the Bronx.
The locos were all given a "GRG" (major refurbishment) in the early 1980s to remove the original "skirts", and to replace the original windscreens and head/tail lamps clusters with "standard SNCF" arrangement. They replaced the 2D2 9100 in their last passenger service. Certain class members were fitted with third rail pick up shoes to work Chambéry-Modane services. The shoes were removed in 1976.
Wayne Junction Station Wayne Junction recently underwent a $11,165,600 renovation that included a new low level railway platform, an additional high-level platform in the inbound side, two new elevators, and new canopies and windscreens. In FY 2013, Wayne Junction station had a weekday average of 527 boardings and 521 alightings. The SEPTA's Roberts Yard and Midvale District Bus Garage are nearby to this station.
In 1993, Wadsworth was offered a coaching role at PSV Eindhoven, but couldn't accept due to a lack of Dutch coaching credentials. In August, however he was appointed Carlisle United manager. Carlisle finished 7th in Division Three and made the playoffs, but lost in the semi-final. The following season Carlisle reached the Auto Windscreens Trophy final but lost to Barry Fry's Birmingham City.
The pilot's cockpit near the trailing edge gave him a forward view under the wing. The observer/gunner had a separate cockpit close behind the pilot and a rounded wing cut-out improved the upward field of view from both. Both cockpits had unusual, extensive, multiframed windscreens and the observer's at least could be folded. His position was fitted with a flexible machine gun mounting.

Both platforms have beige windscreens, green canopies, and brown roofs that run along the entire length except for a small section at the north end where they only contain mesh fences. The station's name and direction signs are in the traditional white helvetica lettering on black plates.
Plumes of volcanic ash near active volcanoes can damage propellers, engines and cockpit windows. In 1982, British Airways Flight 9 flew through an ash cloud and temporarily lost power from all four engines. The plane was badly damaged, with all the leading edges being scratched. The front windscreens had been so badly "sand" blasted by the ash that they could not be used to land the aircraft.

As a result, the attendance for the Juice games was dismal with only 148 fans attending a May 25, 2007 game at the stadium against the Macon Music. SAS in their armed jeeps Created during the North African Campaign of World War II, the Special Air Service specialised in carrying out hit-and-run attacks, in particular against Axis airfields. As no vehicle was adapted to this kind of mission, the SAS were forced to build their own. Heavily modified Lend-Lease jeeps became the trademark weapon of the SAS. The windscreens, and sometimes the bumper were removed, in order to save weight and permit an extra payload to be carried.

The Football League Trophy 1997–98, known as the Auto Windscreens Shield 1997–98 for sponsorship reasons, was the 15th staging of the Football League Trophy, a knock-out competition for English football clubs in Second and Third Division. The winners were Grimsby Town and the runners-up were Bournemouth. The competition began on 6 December 1997 and ended with the final on 19 April 1998 at the Wembley Stadium. The LoCamp is intended to resemble a 1930s style light aircraft. The works include bas-reliefs entitled Gingko by Alice Adams, drinking fountain basins designed to look like dogwoods, the North Carolina state flower, by Nancy Blum, river stone benches by Hoss Haley and finishes on the track fencing, shelter windscreens and column cladding featuring a leaf motif of species of tree found in the station by Shaun Cassidy.

While the bigger vehicles are known as micros, the smaller ones are known as either combis or micros. These privately owned vehicles are not only known for being very cheap and convenient but also for being rather risky. Micros race from one street corner to another along all the major arterial city roads. Stickers saying, for example, "Todo Angamos" or "Todo Benavides" can be seen on their windscreens, which indicates that the micro runs the whole length of Avenida Angamos or Avenida Benavides.

The stadium was fitted with OAI-produced windscreens in 2009, and is widely accepted as one of the premier baseball complexes in the Sunshine State Conference.

Southwestern street stair This elevated station has three tracks and two side platforms. The D train stops here at all times, and the center express track is not normally used in service. The platforms have beige windscreens and brown canopies with green frames at their center and waist-high black steel fences at either ends. They are offset as the Manhattan-bound platform is more to the north than the Coney Island-bound one and both have electrical distribution rooms at either ends.
Exterior This elevated station has two side platforms and three tracks. The center track that bypasses this station is not used in revenue service. This is the IRT Broadway-Seventh Avenue Line's southernmost station in the Bronx, as Marble Hill–225th Street station is physically on the mainland of New York State, but legally part of Manhattan. Both platforms have beige windscreens and red canopies with green frames and outlines in the center and green waist-high, steel fences at either ends with lampposts at regular intervals.
Beyond the vestiges of the old connections, the line curves west and enters the tunnel into Third Avenue–149th Street. Many flights within, to, and from Europe were cancelled following 14 April 2010 eruption, and although no commercial aircraft were damaged, the engines of some military aircraft were harmed.
After major overhauls were devolved to line depots in 1985, Acton Works carried out most of the conversion of the Metropolitan A60 Stock for One Person Operation, although a small number of units were converted at Ruislip depot. Driving motor cars at the outer ends of units were fitted with missile- proof windscreens, door opening controls, and high-intensity headlights. The work took place between April 1985 and September 1986, with the changeover to One Person Operation occurring on the Metropolitan line on 29 September 1986.
Barton's unique Dennis Loline, 1984 Many new and secondhand buses also joined the fleet, and Barton kept up its modern double-deck image with Northern Counties bodied AEC Regents, which had wrap- around windscreens on both decks. Also built to the same style was a unique vehicle, no. 861, which had lowbridge bodywork on a lowheight Dennis Loline chassis, and was the lowest ever roofed British double-decker. It was specially designed to pass under an ultra low railway bridge at Sawley Junction, now , station.
The T.8 Kirby Tutor was immediately popular but only seven complete aircraft were sold before the outbreak of World War II, as well as kits of parts, spares and sets of wings (for retrofit to T.7 Kirby Kadets). The T.8 Tutor was also produced for use by the Air Training Corps, being renamed Slingsby T.8 Cadet TX Mk.2. Sixty-two Cadet TX Mk.2s were ordered from 1944 with simple windscreens and landing wheels. Postwar Slingsby sub-contracted Martin Hearn Ltd.

On the roof, the National's familiar "pod", which had housed heating and ventilation equipment, was discarded. Two distinct designs of front end were fitted. The first had two-piece flat windscreens which met at a slight point in the centre, EL2000-style headlights with separate indicators above, and a shallow, plain bumper. They are usually made from transparent high-impact polycarbonate or acrylic plastic. They may be shaped specifically to direct air flow over or around the head of the rider even if they are much shorter than the seated rider. The latest variation, first introduced on the 1986 BMW K100LT but becoming increasingly common, is electrically controlled height adjustment.
Brittle fracture in glass Hard products like ceramic pottery and glass windscreens can be studied using the same SEM methods used for metals, especially ESEM conducted at low vacuum. Fracture surfaces are especially valuable sources of information because surface features like hachures can enable the origin or origins of the cracks to be found. Analysis of the surface features is carried out using fractography. The position of the origin can then be matched with likely loads on the product to show how an accident occurred, for example.
Their Crossley two- stroke engines were unreliable though, and prone to black smoke when throttling up. A further, more unusual, problem with the Metro-Vicks was with their front windscreens. These wrapped around the corners of the cab, to give a better view to the sides, but the engine's vibration could be enough to make the glass panes fall out of their frames. When cracking problems with their crankcases became evident after a few years, the locomotives were withdrawn from service and the engines rebuilt by Crossley.

The development of durable laminates for interior panel finish such as wareite and formica was another feature that Harrington started to pioneer. A belated change to the construction and use rules in 1957 allowed fixed, rather than opening, driver's windscreens on public service vehicle (PSV) bodies. This, together with advances in toughened glass manufacture, at last made it possible to have a coach windscreen with a three-dimensional curvature.

On 6 February 2009, the bridge was closed by weather for the first time since its opening, after three vehicles were struck by falling ice, damaging windscreens. Bad weather, and again falling ice, repeated this in December 2009. Temporary speed limits are put in place due to high winds or thick fog, with drivers informed by the electronic signs. In the 1980s in Glasgow, Scotland, several ice-cream vendors also sold drugs and stolen goods along their routes, using the ice cream sales as fronts. A turf war erupted between these vendors related to competition over the lucrative illegal activity, including intimidation of rival ice-cream van operators. During the conflict, rival vendors raided each others' vans and fired shotguns into the windscreens of the vehicles. The culmination of the violence came on 16 April 1984 with the murder by arson of six members of the Doyle family, in the Ruchazie housing estate.

The match was played at Wembley on 23 April 1995, and was contested by Birmingham City and Carlisle United. Birmingham City won the match 1–0, with Paul Tait scoring the winning goal in extra time. The match was the first at Wembley to be decided by the golden goal rule.
As well, fighters appeared to require bullet-proof windscreens and better oxygen systems. After passing through Paris, Spaatz and Kelsey flew back to London on May 31. Smith helped Grimsby Town win the Auto Windscreens Shield. One of his most notable moments at Grimsby Town was when he scored in the first-leg of the Division 2 play-off semi-final against Fulham in the 1997–1998 season, a careless pass by Fulham's Wayne Collins enabled Smith to latch on and score an equaliser.

The station has two fare control areas at 73rd Street and two at 74th. The 74th Street mezzanine has a wooden floor with windscreens on the stairs, a booth, and a crossunder, with stairs to both the new station building and to the northeast corner of 74th Street and Roosevelt Avenue. There were two open cockpits, equipped with dual control, in tandem over the wing. When the Jutrzenka first appeared in 1927, the decking was shallow and the cockpits simple openings apart from windscreens but over the winter of 1927-8 it was deepened, producing scooped cockpits with streamlining behind them and with crash protection and headrests for the crew. These series IIs were converted by Marshall's of Cambridge by being stripped of doors and windscreens and fitted with grenade launchers, a machine gun mounting ring and long-range fuel tanks and water tanks. They were used by the SAS for desert patrol and special operations. Land Rover half-ton lightweight series III By the late 1970s, the British Army had acquired around 9,000 series-III models, which were mainly a special "heavy duty" version of the soft top. These models had improved suspension components and a different chassis cross-member design.
Some of the AEC Regal IV RFs had been refurbished in the 1960s, with twin headlights, curved windscreens, new side mouldings and improved interiors, mainly allocated to Green Line services. Note the flat windscreen and the IR exhaust suppressors Equipped with a more robust engine, the OH-58C was supposed to solve many issues and concerns regarding the Kiowa's power. In addition to the upgraded engine, the OH-58C had unique IR suppression systems mounted on its turbine exhaust. Early "C" models featured flat-panel windscreens as an attempt to reduce glint from the sun, which could give away the aircraft's location to an enemy.
The taller Duple 340 was intended to be more upmarket than the 320 and was only available on 12-metre long heavyweight chassis. Initially these were the mid-engined DAF MB200 / MB230, Leyland Tiger and Volvo B10M and the rear-engined DAF SB2305, but the Scania K93 also became available in 1988.. The 320 and 340 shared similar front ends and windscreens, but the 340 could be distinguished by its greater height, with the side windows being stepped up slightly behind the door/cab window and a curved front roof dome over the cab.

Well into the second half of the twentieth century, Viennese frequently referred to the electrified tramway as die Elektrische (the electric). Up until 1910, the only trams delivered to the Vienna tramway network were vehicles with unglazed platforms (or cabs), i.e.: without any windscreens protecting occupants from the cold and wind. This was still in the tradition of the horse cars, on which direct contact of the driver with the harnessed horses was required. (It took until 1930 until the cabs and platforms of all tramcars had protective glass.) In 1911, the first double stops were introduced.
In 1976, with funding from the Exxon Corporation, this station, as well as three others citywide, received new "artfully humorous graffiti" murals and artwork. Local designer Peter Bradford Associates received $5,000 to repaint the station and put "16 bright posters of animals and parts of animals" on each platform wall, in the theme of the nearby Bronx Zoo. The current artwork at this station, installed during a 2004-2007 renovation, is called Back to the Garden by Tomie Arai. It consists of stained glass windows on the platform windscreens depicting images of trees and plants, inspired by the nearby zoo and botanical garden.
The crew of a following goods train at around , would have to crouch down with handkerchiefs over their faces. Meanwhile, they had to hold the speed steady enough not to cause wheelslip, and not to snatch the train, causing a coupling to break, which would strand them in the fume-laden darkness. Apart from damp rails, it was extremely hot in summer, while, in winter, long icicles would form from the roof. The first engine through in the morning would break them off (the crews staying well inside the cab), but when diesels came into use there were a number of broken windscreens.
The Japanese version of the Si with the B20A was rated 140 PS with the JDM engine and was rated for 37 MPG. Along with the facelift, a new Prelude model was introduced to the Japanese domestic market, the Prelude INX. It featured fixed headlights, with a front fascia very similar to the contemporary Honda Legend coupe and Honda Accord of the same time period. The center track dead ends at the west end at a bumper block and is unusable for service. Since the 202 never made large scale production and all the cars were handmade, the small talented group at Cisitalia, including Carlo Abarth, Dante Giacosa and Giovanni Savonuzzi, made several variants of the 202. Of the more important versions, the SMM Nuvolari Spider was built and named after a class victory at the 1947 Mille Miglia by famed driver Tazio Nuvolari. It is easily identified by its large rear fins, twin windscreens and usual Italian red paint scheme. In total, around 200 cars were made which made a large impact on the later marques, including Abarth's later range of cars.
These new limits put the ACO out of step with the FIA and hence the race was dropped from the 1956 World Sportscar Championship. Full- width windscreens, at least 200mm, high were also mandatory further trimming top-speed. Other effects to encourage economy limited all fuel tanks to a maximum size of 130 litres, and the liquids replenishment (fuel, oil, water) window was extended again, from 32 to 34 laps (458 km / 284 miles) meaning a minimum practical fuel economy of 10.8mpg would be needed. The C3s fuselage and wing struts were built up from welded chromium-molybdenum alloy steel tubes, faired with wood battens. It had two open cockpits each protected from the wind with generously-sized shatterproof-glass windscreens, and which could accommodated three people, with two in the front cockpit. The wings on the prototype were built around spruce and plywood box beam spars that were replaced with solid spruce spars routed into I-beams on production examples. O'Connor began his career at Crumlin United and in 1994 he moved to Huddersfield Town in the youth ranks, which were supervised by Kevin Blackwell. Also located at the southwestern part of the square is Jaan Poldaas' Surface Design for Tampered Windscreens (1992), a sculpture composed of tempered glass screens which functions as a windbreak. The screens are etched with vertical and horizontal lines to create different relationships, and are arranged so that people can walk between them. Cynthia Short's Remembered Sustenance (1992) is piece composed of 19 small and generic bronze animals on the grass just off the sidewalk on Wellington Street West.
The majority of classic Malta buses had elaborate grilles and headlight arrangements, curved windscreens and sloping roofs. Later makes of bus were usually of conventional bus and coach designs that were in use elsewhere in the world, such as Plaxton Supreme and Duple Dominant bodywork. Between 1981 and 1987 the fleet was drastically modernised with the import of over 260 second hand buses from the United Kingdom. Many of the oldest buses in the fleet were further replaced with the influx of 150 new low-floor buses from China and Turkey, financed with government grant aid, leaving just three normal control vehicles.

Both platforms have beige windscreens and brown canopies with green roofs along the entire length except for a small section at the south end, which has only a windscreen on the eastbound side and a waist-high steel fence on the westbound side. The Football League Trophy 1995–96, known as the Auto Windscreens Shield 1995–96 for sponsorship reasons, was the 13th staging of the Football League Trophy, a knock-out competition for English football clubs in the Second and Third Divisions (now known as League One and Two). The winners were Rotherham United, who defeated Shrewsbury Town 2–1 in the final. The competition began on 25 September 1995 and ended with the final on 14 April 1996. The tournament begins with clubs divided into a Northern and a Southern section, and teams entering a group stage.

Flying insect strikes, like bird strikes, have been encountered by pilots since aircraft were invented. Future United States Air Force general Henry H. Arnold, as a young officer, nearly lost control of his Wright Model B in 1911 after a bug flew into his eye while he was not wearing goggles, distracting him. In 1986, a Boeing B-52 Stratofortress on a low-level training mission entered a swarm of locusts. The insects' impacts on the aircraft's windscreens rendered the crew unable to see, forcing them to abort the mission and fly using the aircraft's instruments alone.

OBUs are available from a BelToll customer services points which are located next to automobile border-crossing points, along toll roads, and in all of the region centers of Belarus. They operate on a 24/7 basis. An OBU is attached to the windscreen, and whenever a vehicle passes under a gantry, the required amount is written off from the OBU account. Some vehicles have so-called metallic (athermic) windscreens, and when driving such a vehicle, a driver should request information from the manufacturer to identify areas on the windscreen free from metal coating and attach an OBU according to the OBU User Manual.

The motor bodies were constructed on the chassis by the Board in two configurations, six with half-cabs and four with full-front windscreens. Once completed, they replaced trams on the Dallington route, and petrol buses on the Bryndwr and Springfield Road routes. With the diesel buses having proved to be a success, it was intended next to replace tram services on the Opawa–Fendalton and St. Martins routes, being the next two least viable tramlines. Pool of Knowledge is installed at Living Arts Park in Mississauga Spiegel has three public art installations in the Toronto region. The city's Sheppard-Yonge subway station features "Immersion Land", a mosaic composed of 1,500,000 one-inch tiles. Another of Spiegel's installations, Synthetic Eden, can be discovered in a hidden courtyard within the Financial District (Yonge and Adelaide Street East), a collection of three eclectic water-based sculptures and etched glass windscreens. The City of Mississauga's Living Arts Centre also features a trio of public art works by Stacey Spiegel (1997) including a water fountain (Pool of Knowledge) and two large wall-type structures (Book Wall and Data Wall).

Northmore began his career as a trainee with Torquay United, having previously been on the books of Plymouth Argyle and Swindon Town. He turned professional in August 1998, making his first team debut away to Gillingham in the Auto-Windscreens Trophy on 7 December 1999. His league debut came on 5 February 2000 in Torquay's 4–0 win at home to Halifax Town after regular keeper, Neville Southall had been injured in the previous league game. Northmore was highly rated by Southall as his understudy, but, when Southall was released at the end of the season, Stuart Jones was signed and took over as first choice keeper.
A Norman 18 in Gas Street Basin, Birmingham, England Norman boats are small fiberglass cabin cruisers built in the 1960s, 70's, and 80's, by Norman Cruisers Limited of Shaw and Crompton in Greater Manchester, England. Norman Boats were started in 1959 by Ernie Wheeldon. The business started in Shaw Lancs, then moved to Isherwood Street in Heywood Lancs, then back to a new site in Shaw. Other factories were added in Royton and Heywood, and the business expanded into manufacturing windows and windscreens for both Norman Boats and other customers under the name of North West Windows Ltd at the Heywood factory.
105Na is unidirectional motor tramcar, equipped with four doors. It represents the development of the earlier tram Konstal 105N, the main changes being the location of the components of the electrical equipment which were transferred from under the steps to the back wall of the driver's cabin, the introduction of a separate cabin for the driver and the removal of the small windows under the front and side windscreens. The most important change was the introduction of motor grouping, which reduced the energy consumption by 12%. During initial acceleration, the four motors are connected in series, whilst at higher speeds, two groups of motors are connected in parallel.
The 1999 Football League Trophy Final (known as the Auto Windscreens Shield for sponsorship reasons) was the 16th final of the domestic Football League Trophy competition for teams from the Second and Third Division of the Football League. The match was played at Wembley Stadium on 18 April 1999, and was contested by Millwall and Wigan Athletic. This was Millwall's first appearance at Wembley in a recognised competition, and the club brought around 47,000 of the 55,000 fans in attendance. Wigan won the match 1–0, with Paul Rogers scoring the winning goal three minutes into injury-time, one of only five goals he scored for the club in three years.
On the night of 13 March 2003 the first two protesters breached the perimeter fence of the RAF Fairford base using bolt-cutters, and once inside attacked instrument panels, brake cables and windscreens of support vehicles which were needed to supply the B-52 bombers due to fly that day. They used hammers and are also reported to have been carrying grinding- paste to put into fuel tanks. In their commitment to peaceful protest, the two protesters left notices on the damaged vehicles to warn operators and prevent an accident. They were discovered by a US serviceman, did not resist arrest, and were taken to Stroud police station.
The original Dominant had a windscreen (and matching rear windows) of the same height as the side windows. After 1976 it received a new design of grille and was known as the Dominant I. It remained in production throughout the Dominant's production life as a cheaper alternative to the Dominant II and because the deeper windscreens of the later Dominant marks were incompatible with some front-engined chassis. Some Dominant I bodies had Dominant II style rear windows, and/or headlights and front grilles. Special narrow bodies built for use on the Channel Islands retained the pre-1976 style grille until the end of production.
In 1978, laminated windscreens became a standard fitment and in 1980, to comply with UK legislation, twin rear fog lamps were also standard. As with many other British Leyland cars of the period, a number of "special tuning" options were available for the Dolomite Sprint, offering dealer fitted upgrades to the car that included larger carburettors, freer flowing exhaust systems, and competition camshafts. Walsall Corporation specified some non- standard short-wheelbase Fleetlines, the first of which, 1 UDH , was only 25 ft 7 in long, had no front overhang and had its entrance behind the front axle. The next 29 vehicles were 27 ft 6 in long with a short front overhang and again only an entrance behind the front axle. The remaining 69 were 28 ft 6 in long, with a narrow entrance in the usual position along with the entrance behind the front axle. 1 UDH had Northern Counties bodywork with wrap-around windscreens on both decks, similar to that specified by Barton Transport on AEC Regents and a Dennis Loline.
A label dispenser is often used as a convenient way to separate the sticky label from its liner or backing tape. Eventually, an escalator was established in the restaurant to make it easier for customers to access the second and third floors, where diners were seated. The Port Arthur was the first Chinese restaurant in New York City's Chinatown to obtain a liquor license. The restaurant was known for its delicious Chinese style dishes and delicacies as well as for its authentic Chinese style wall decor, inlaid pearl mahogany tables, teakwood chairs, ornate carved wooden panels, windscreens, lanterns, and chandeliers.
Returning to the pits, the team found nothing more than cosmetic damage, but upon returning to the circuit, the front left wheel came loose, throwing the car against the outside wall at Griffin's Bend, and then across to the other side of the circuit against the wall. Unfortunately, the wheel came away from the car, and smashed through the windscreen of Craig Lowndes car. The Salik toll was launched by Dubai's Dubai Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) on 1 July 2007. Motorists are required to buy a 100 AED pre- paid card that is affixed to their windscreens. 4 AED ($1.08) is deducted from their account each time they pass through a toll gate.
Duple Metsec therefore had to find a third party who would be willing to assemble their body kits on the Dennis Dragon chassis and eventually Salvador Caetano in Porto, Portugal were chosen. The bodies also had new fronts designed for them which would accommodate the same size of windscreens that were fitted to the Alexander R-type bodies in the Citybus fleet. The front dash and cab area were also quite different as Caetano applied their coach styling skills to design a better cab area. The Citybus Dragons were unique in being the only 10.3-metre single-door Dragons built, and the 12m Dragons were the first air-conditioned examples for Hong Kong.
Most cars numbered above 800 had "swept corner" windscreens. From the early 1970s many cars had their little-used, narrow centre doorways panelled-over, and most had their original windshields replaced with SW6-class types, which had "swept corners" with half-drop side windows; not all of these received the deeper fascia. During construction in 1939, the last ten W5-class trams were modified with sliding doors the same as the first of the SW6-class trams, which was being built at the same time. These trams also had metal-framed, full-drop saloon windows with quarter lights. In 1956 W5-class trams 785 and 787 were converted to SW5-class (type 2), following accident damage.
Margaret Lanzetta’s work has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art and the Queens Museum, New York; the Bangkok National Museum (pop up exhibition); the Weatherspoon Art Museum, North Carolina; and the Nicolaysen Art Museum, Wyoming. The New York MTA Arts & Design commissioned Lanzetta's first public, permanent work, Culture Swirl, a series of seven faceted glass-paneled windscreens, for the Norwood Avenue subway station in 2007. In 2020 Norte Maar commissioned new work by Lanzetta for CounterPointe 8, in collaboration with choreographer Mari Meade. Arapaho Center station (formerly known as Richardson Transit Center until 2002) is a DART Light Rail station in Richardson, Texas. It is located at Greenville Avenue near Arapaho Road. It opened on July 1, 2002, and is a station on the , serving the Richardson Civic Center, the University of Texas at Dallas and part of Richardson's Telecom Corridor including the facilities for Honeywell and Samsung. Customer features at this station include: station concierge, passenger shelters, windscreens, seating, restrooms, customer information, ticket vending machines, telephones, bus "kiss & ride" passenger drop-off/pickup area, free parking (1,100 spaces, overnight or long-term parking is at the discretion of the customer), bike rack and public art.

The GAZ-40PB V-8 gasoline engine is based on a US Dodge truck engine, and is coupled to a manual gearbox with four forward gears and one reverse with a single dry-plate clutch. Tire pressure in the main tires can also be raised and lowered by the driver for better performance.
Pete's did acquire a small number of step-entrance Plaxton Pointer, Alexander and Wright Handybus split screen bodies to replace ageing Dodge S56s and a steady fleet upgrade continued well into the late 1990s. Notable purchases came from very early Duple Dartline and Carlyle bodied darts from London Buses with the sweeping curved windscreens, though one of the more unusual Dennis Dart purchases came from non-standard UVG bodied R810WJA. More contracts ensued with the requirement of high capacity double deckers for school work - Pete's acquired a number of MCW Metrobuses from London Buses operating units, some with both double door and single door conversions. Further London vehicles bolstered the fleet in Volvo Citybus/Northern Counties.
The 1996-97 season proved to be possibly the most memorable in Stockport County's history. The season began in a forgettable fashion however, recording two draws and four defeats in the first six league matches. A 2nd round League Cup tie against Sheffield United proved to be a catalyst, and Stockport won with a 7–3 aggregate win, including a 5–2 victory at Bramall Lane. Although Stockport reached the northern final of the Auto Windscreens Shield, losing 2–0 on aggregate to Carlisle and just missing out on a visit to Wembley, it was the League Cup which provided the major highlights of the season, with four victories over top-flight opposition.

The traditional Withnell-tubed, exposed radiator was replaced with the more imposing concealed version, which was fitted behind a glass-fibre shrouded metal grille - again carrying the Knight's Head, circular A logo and additional adornments in the form of engine manufacturer plates.

For the 1962 racing season, Ferrari introduced a slightly changed body style for all Dino SP cars, including the two 246 SPs which were re-bodied. The independent buyers were Abbott of Blackpool, Barton Transport, Bermuda of Nuneaton, Gliderways, Hall Brothers of South Shields, Jones, Keith of Aylesbury and Motorways Overseas.
