Second-rate actor Jack Albany (Dick Van Dyke) finds himself mistaken for fiendish killer Ace Williams and whisked off to master gangster Leo Smooth's (Edward G. Robinson) fortified mansion. He is forced to continue with the charade what with all the rough- looking hoods around, even when he finds he is to play a deadly role in the theft of the painting "Field of Sunflowers", a 40 foot long masterpiece by Dubreaux (a fictional artist). But at least there is lovely art teacher Sally (Dorothy Provine) who could become an ally -- if she ever believes his story. Further complications ensue when the real Ace Williams (Jack Elam) shows up, making it even more difficult for Albany to keep up his false identity.

Androvski and Domini meet, fall in love, and are married by the local priest, after which the newlyweds are whisked off into the scorching desert – a trip that the local sand diviner has forecast will bring happiness and a bad end.

However, under pressure from Pope Celestine III, Tancred had to send Constance to Rome in exchange for recognition from the Pope; on the way, Constance was freed by German soldiers, in the summer of 1192. When Emperor Henry VI crossed the Straits of Messina in Autumn 1194, Queen Sibylla, now regent, negotiated an agreement whereby the young William III, who had been whisked off to safety, should retain the County of Lecce.

The documentary interviews four women, three of whom were incarcerated in Magdalene asylums in Ireland: Brigid Young is the only one of the four women interviewed who never experienced a laundry, but she grew up in an adjoining orphanage in Limerick.
