Later in the film he caught Greenie after he entered the farm and tied a string on him and attaching it to his wheelbarrow, grabbed scissors and attempted to clip his wings, Luckily Leafie came to the rescue and attacked the farmer, but only to throw her in the chicken house. Chirpie and his fellow flock distracted the farmer and after his chickens went free, He was confused and couldn't get to Greenie and never harmed his wings, After that he is never seen again for the rest of the film. He is the only human character in the film.

In 'Silver Brumbies of the South', Thowra muses upon the fact that outside of these three foals, he had had no silver foals. Instead, 'he had got many creamies with dark points who rarely went free, for the men always hunted them, and he had got taffies, and some strangely handsome duns'. A 'creamy with dark points' would be a buckskin, whilst 'Taffy' is the Australian term for what is sometimes called 'chocolate silver', or a brown coat with pale silvery mane and tail. These foals might have inherited one copy of the cream dilution gene from their sire, and their base colour from their mothers but the unusual colours mentioned indicate that the 'silver' brumby carried other colour modifying genes in addition to the cream dilution gene, potentially including the silver dapple gene (which is dominant but is not expressed on chestnut-based coats and results in taffy), the bay gene, wild bay gene, seal brown gene (none of these three express on chestnut-based coats.

Born in Tremblay-en-France, Seine-Saint-Denis, Riblon won two mountain-top finishes of the Tour de France, including stage 14 of the 2010 Tour de France at the ski resort of Ax-3 Domaines in the Pyrenees, and stage 18 of the 2013 Tour de France at Alpe d'Huez. During his 2010 victory, he was part of the early breakaway that went free into the race, and he crested the penultimate climb of the day alone, the Port de Pailheres. He had a two-minute lead at the foot of the last climb, and held on to win solo as the general classification contenders were battling it out behind him. He won his 2013 stage following a long breakaway, chasing down Tejay van Garderen over the second ascent of Alpe d'Huez and holding on to win by a minute, despite crashing into a ditch on the descent of the Col de Sarenne.
