John first appears when Sharon returns to her wedding to collect her son Dennis after walking out on John, but forgetting to collect Dennis.

In the 2007 NRL season, Utai missed nearly the entire year through injury, but returned in 2008 and made 12 appearances as Canterbury endured a horror year on and off the field which included star player Sonny Bill Williams walking out on the club midway through the season. Canterbury would finish last in 2008 after winning five games all year.
The following week, she began her first storyline by slapping and walking out on her tag team partner Taylor Wilde in a match against The Beautiful People (Angelina Love and Velvet Sky), and her character became villainous in the process. Pitura however struggled at Richmond and managed just three seasons. The book fulfilled McGrady's cynical expectations, and sales soon reached 20,000 copies, whereupon the co-authors decided to go public, in August 1969. The male authors gave their confession on The David Frost Show, after being introduced as "Penelope Ashe" and walking out on stage, single file, as the orchestra played the song "A Pretty Girl Is Like a Melody". The revelation of the true origins of the book prompted more sales with the book selling approximately 90,000 copies by 13 October 1969.This figure, with according date, is quoted on the 20th-Century American Bestsellers' Naked Came the Stranger page.
She reappears in the episodes "Scroogerello", as a figment of Scrooge's dream, "'Till Nephews Do Us Part", interrupting Scrooge's wedding to Millionara Vanderbucks, and "Ducky Mountain High", where Scrooge and Glomgold fight for Goldie's property only to see Goldie walking out on top. In the 2017 series, she first appears in "The Golden Lagoon of White Agony Plains!", as Scrooge's former girlfriend, partner, and rival; out-smarting both him and Glomgold. His son, Phil, is badly in debt and becomes a clown for children's parties, but this fails to prevent his wife and children walking out on him. In debt, Phil votes for the redundancy money, which he becomes ashamed of. As Danny collapses in the street and is hospitalised, Phil suffers a mental breakdown while entertaining a group of children, as part of a harvest festival in a church. He refers to himself as "Coco the scab"—a name that he had been called by a debt collector who he had asked to wait until the redundancy money had come through.
As well as workers streaming out of factory gates, Mitchell & Kenyon filmed street scenes, parades, marches, walking out on Sunday and the fairgrounds. Charmingly, as the crowds pass by there are usually a few who come up and stare or wave at the camera, in a way that nowadays annoys news presenters. The street scenes are busy with pedestrians wandering across in front of the slow horse-drawn carts and trams, some horse- drawn as well as the new electric trams, and Mitchell & Kenyon added variety by filming from moving trams. Bicycles abound, and they also showed the novel rarity, a motor car.
However, on July 25, 2008 while shooting scenes for the show, Binzer was insulted at a club and responded by walking out on production and embarking on a heavy relapse. To the annoyance of Dr. Drew, Bob Forrest, and several of his housemates, he treated his relapse like a game and sent everyone coded videos on his MySpace about his current location. William Smith, an employee of Dr. Drew, eventually sought out Binzer at a motel and brought him back to the rehab facility. An embarrassed Binzer pledged to Smith and Dr. Drew that the binge he embarked on was his last.
At the car that Jake was in, Frankie discovered Jake was gone. She later admitted she was scared for him, knowing that he would try and kill himself again. Jake tried to blame his descent into madness on his father walking out on the family three years earlier; however, Frankie told him that "your father may have been a naive and reckless man; but, for all his faults, Johnno would never have done anything as bad as what you have done". Warren offered Darren £100,000 to help with money problems if he framed Jake by putting Sean's wallet in Jake's room.
With the recruitment of players from outside of the local area the club was able to field football teams for the 2015, 2016 and 2017 season. During the this time the club also experienced some success, coming within 11 points of a place in the 2017 grand final. Unfortunately, an acrimonious saga regarding player payment destabilised the playing group, culminating in several player players walking out on the club. For the second time in four years the shortage of players forced the club to move into recess for the 2018 season, leaving the Alberton football league with only six clubs field teams.
Mitchell recounts the departure of her "old man" in the eponymous "big yellow taxi", which may refer to the old Metro Toronto Police patrol cars, which until 1986 were painted yellow. In many covers the departed one may be interpreted as variously a boyfriend, a husband or a father. The literal interpretation is that he is walking out on the singer by taking a taxi; otherwise it is assumed he is being taken away by the authorities. Mitchell's original recording was first released as a single and then, as stated above, included on her 1970 album Ladies of the Canyon.
On the January 19 episode of Impact Wrestling, Rayne was defeated by James in a steel cage match. Southampton enjoyed their best form in several years after it was announced that Glenn Hoddle was replacing Dave Jones as manager on a permanent basis. But Hoddle caused outrage by walking out on the Saints in late March and taking the managerial vacancy at Tottenham Hotspur the next day. Coach Stuart Gray took over on a temporary basis, and with Southampton's good form continuing he was rewarded with the job on a permanent basis. Southampton's best moment was an 89th-minute winner by Matt Le Tissier to pull back from 2–1 down against runners-up Arsenal.
One of several Harrison compositions presented to the Beatles in January 1969, during the sessions that produced their Let It Be album and film, but rejected by the group. Harrison debuted the song at Apple Studio on 21 January, his first day of work since walking out on the band eleven days before. The group briefly rehearsed it on 26 January, until McCartney took over the singing and ensured it was no longer taken seriously. The song is in the folk style and is introduced by Harrison in his May 1970 performance as being "a bit silly".
When Conley resigned from Stanford University, her book Walking Out on the Boys was released and provided a very in-depth and a firsthand look at the sexism that really went on at the university. Conley also boldly uses the real names of the biggest perpetrators. This book offers some behind-the-scenes views of the medical school located at Stanford including certain labs and research. Her resignation and the release of this book not only created some public support towards her, but also towards other instances of sexism across the country that not only occur in medical schools of universities but throughout hospitals and research environments as well.
Norton's appointment itself caused controversy with the delegation from Burslem walking out on the first day protesting that Norton had already declared himself in favour of federation. The walkout did not disrupt the hearing but left only Fenton and Staffordshire County Council opposed to the plan, with Tunstall neutral and Hanley, Stoke and Longton in favour. The bulk of the inquiry examined rating schemes based largely on the Owen or Geen proposals from the previous federation attempt. On 23 February 1908, less than six weeks after the inquiry closed, the Local Government Board issued a draft provisional bill for the federation of the six towns.

Things get even worse for him when he cuts and eats Howard's cake. Just as he is about to be kicked out of the party, Phoebe jumps in to defend Ross, but ends up criticizing and insulting her new friends, who kick her and Ross out of the party. In the epilogue, the group makes jokes about how Chandler apologized by proposing, and Monica says they will be doing that for a long time based on how insane his actions were. However, Ross then ruins it by doing it on Rachel with the "We were on a break" thing, resulting in the group walking out on him.
The song, backed with strong synths and trumpets "tells the story of a woman stuck in a dead-end relationship with a man who clearly doesn't deserve her, and with her journey to realizing that and eventually walking out on him", and her frustration that her man is not 100% committed. "Louboutins" topped the US Hot Dance Club Songs chart but did not garner any airplay. Furthermore, critics gave the song mixed reviews, calling the lyrical content "boring", "dated" and "poo", although some did appreciate that the song was "catchy" and had some club appeal to it. It was excluded from the final track listing.
Since 1993 Politis has been the Chairman of the Sydney Roosters' Board of Directors. After the Roosters won the 2002 NRL Grand Final, he joined the players in getting a premiership logo tattooed on his arm. He has been described as being ranked "among the most powerful, influential and ruthless figures in rugby league for almost 40 years" and "affectionately known as 'The Godfather' or 'Uncle Nick'". He was responsible for getting Sonny Bill Williams to return to rugby league with the Rooster after his 5-year ban from the NRL, for walking-out on the Bulldogs mid-season in 2008, expired in 2013.
The group recorded Dare, their most commercially successful album to date, in 1981. The release of the album also coincided with a steep rise in the use of music videos and the launch of MTV. In the video for "Don't You Want Me", released in November as the fourth single from the album, Sulley plays a successful actress walking out on her bitter Svengali lover (played by Oakey) who laments her success and departure. Set on a "film shoot" on a wet winter night, Sulley sings directly to the camera whilst walking through the atmospheric set, immaculately made up and wearing a distinctive trench coat.
The roots of The Beat lie in The Nerves, a seminal power pop combo featuring Paul Collins (born 1956, New York City), Peter Case (the future front man of The Plimsouls), and Jack Lee. Collins played drums; all three members composed and sang. Collins contributed several songs to the band including "Walking Out On Love," "Let Me Into Your Life" and one song, "Working Too Hard", to the group's only release, a 1976 self-titled four-song EP distributed by independent Bomp! Records. The Nerves are most famous for Lee's "Hanging on the Telephone" later popularized by Blondie on their breakthrough album Parallel Lines.
After The Nerves' demise Collins and Case formed The Breakaways which went through several guitarists until Case and Collins both moved to guitar and recruited Mike Ruiz (drums - Milk 'N' Cookies) and Steven Huff (bass and backing vocals - The Apollo Stars). Case left the group after a few months of rehearsals to pursue a solo career which led to the eventual formation of The Plimsouls. Collins, Huff and Ruiz officially became "The Beat" when pressed for a group name prior to an interview to promote the release of The Breakaways recording of "Walking Out On Love" (credited as Paul Collins) on Bomp's Waves Vol. 1.
The Lane Rebels are commonly mentioned in discussions of the early history of Oberlin It is less often realized that these original Oberlin students, who had nothing to do with Lane other than walking out on it, were carrying on a tradition that began at the Oneida Institute of Science and Industry, in Oneida County, New York, near Utica. Oneida was "a hotbed of anti-slavery activity," "abolitionist to the core, more so than any other American college." Oberlin's antislavery activities replaced those of Oneida, which fell on hard times and closed in 1843. Funding previously provided by the philanthropist brothers Lewis and Arthur Tappan was moved to Oberlin.
In late July, Punk said that he was "never ever" going to return to wrestling. On an episode of Colt Cabana's Art of Wrestling podcast released in November 2014, Punk broke his silence regarding his exit from WWE. In a detailed interview, Punk said that he was suspended for two months after walking out on the company in January and that after the suspension ended, nobody from WWE contacted him. Punk also told that when he reached out to them for unpaid royalties, he was given a run-around by company executives until he was handed his termination papers and was fired by WWE on his wedding day in June 2014.
Realizing that a child is the only thing that would keep Sebastian from walking out on her (he's just learned of Maria Liz's pregnancy), she enlists the help of Lucrecia and Rosalía. They kidnap Maria Liz and take her to a clinic where a C-Section is performed on her, and the child is taken from her womb. Rosalia then removes Araceli's name from her medical report and replaces it with Maria Liz's, making it appear that Maria Liz is the negligent one, not Araceli. Maria Liz protests her innocence, but Sebastian refuses to believe her, and declares that he never wants to see her again.
The first of these years started off with Dwight's forced retirement with a chronic knee injury and promising youngster Steve Markovic walking out on the club to play in Europe just a few weeks before the start of season. This left Scott McGregor as the sole remaining player from the Grand Final loss to Sydney. The 2005-06 season started off with import Nick Horvath sustaining a knee injury in the first game, which sidelined him for the season, whilst fellow import Jermaine Blackburn was sacked midway through the season. Cadee axed Watkins and hired Cal Bruton as coach in late 2006 amid a long Razorbacks losing streak.
"Louboutins" is a song which "tells the story of a woman stuck in a dead-end relationship with a man who clearly does not deserve her, and with her journey to realizing that and eventually walking out on him", and her frustration that her man is not 100% committed. The introduction was said to be similar to "4 Minutes" by Madonna and Justin Timberlake, though the melody is "backed with trumpets and synth beats". A reviewer from Prefix said that the record did not sound like a typical Tricky Stewart and The-Dream production. Stewart told Vibe how he and The-Dream came up with the song's concept.
Prior to the show airing live on pay-per-view, a pre-show match that aired on TV and online had the team of Eric Young and Rhino against The British Invasion (Doug Williams and Brutus Magnus) in a tag team match was shown. Young would leave his partner by walking out on him during the match, leading to Williams and Magnus beating down on their lone opponent until Rhino's student, Jesse Neal, put himself in the match to fill the role of Rhino's partner. The team would be defeated by the Invasion after Neal was pinned by Magnus following a bearhug hold / diving European uppercut combination.
Disgusted, his wife and family are walking out on him. As he sits down on the car's running board, the car collapses under his weight. Styles, who debuted at Invasion Attack 2014 by attacking Okada and revealing himself as the newest member of Bullet Club. At the end of the match, Yujiro Takahashi, who had recently started a storyline, where he began showing disgruntlement towards his current position in NJPW and started walking out on his tag team matches alongside his Chaos stablemates, turned on Okada and the stable and helped Styles win the match and become the 60th IWGP Heavyweight Champion. With the win, Styles became the sixth foreigner to win NJPW's top title.
Following a contract signing for the match the next week, Styles would begin a slow heel turn, doing things like becoming more aggressive in the ring, walking out on Rollins in tag team match, and criticizing Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson (who had also moved back to Raw) when they would lose a match for being overconfident. At the event, Styles failed to win the title from Rollins. Styles returned on the June 24 episode of Raw, after a month of inactivity due to injuries suffered at Money in the Bank, defeating United States Champion Ricochet in a non-title match. On the July 1 episode of Raw, Styles failed to win the United States Championship from Ricochet.

In June 1991, she publicly resigned in protest over the work environment that included sexist attitudes and outright sexual harassment that culminated in the appointment of Dr. Gerald Silverberg as acting chair of the department of neurosurgery despite accusations against him of sexual harassment by two clerical staff. Several months later, after promises of changes in University procedures and policies on sexism, she rescinded her resignation in an effort to ensure the changes might actually be implemented. Her book Walking Out on the Boys spotlit misogyny at one of the nation's leading universities and led to changes in programming throughout the country. She was also chair of the Stanford University Academic Council in 1997/1998 and is now retired.
In 2008, two former CVS executives, John R. "Jack" Kramer and Carlos Ortiz, were charged with 20 counts of mail fraud, bribery and conspiracy in relation to Operation Dollar Bill, a probe of corruption in the Rhode Island General Assembly. Kramer and Ortiz hired former State Senator John Celona, who currently is serving 2½ years on corruption charges involving CVS and other companies, as a media consultant for $12,000 a year. Celona was known for walking out on a pharmacy choice vote in the state senate while on the CVS payroll. Despite originally claiming CVS never bought any favors in his own trial, he testified against Kramer and Ortiz as the prosecution's star witness.
The formation took place at Genesis when A.J. Styles and Tomko assisted Angle in helping him keep the TNA World Heavyweight Championship. Styles wanted to have the Angle Alliance and Christian's Coalition join forces; however, Cage denied Angle's request of being his "lackey", thus Styles and Tomko were dropped from the Coalition. After Angle offered membership to both Robert Roode and Christian, Roode quickly accepted while Cage stalled with insults towards all the members. He eventually followed suit under the condition that he became the leader, which the group apparently agreed to before Angle and Roode turned on and attacked him the same night, with Styles trying to hold them back and Tomko walking out on the scene.
A "Welcome" fanfare from a choir of trumpets and trombones with synthesizers is followed by a "Peace Greeting", in which a Michael choir of sopranos and tenors opposes a Lucifer choir of altos and basses from opposite sides of the hall in a musical dispute. A soprano (Eve) intervenes four times in an attempt to mediate—first appearing at the right side of the audience, then at the back, and a third time at the left, before finally walking out on to the stage in front where she remains, singing to both groups until the end, when both parties agree, "We want peace, freedom", but with a remaining difference, "in/without God!".

DS MacKinnon, not knowing whom to believe, releases Daniel and believes Ken's version of events, before Denise tells DS MacKinnon that she knows that her walking out on Daniel has caused his problems.
Because it is a "making-of" video, both crew and camera apparatus appear throughout. The video was conceived and directed by filmmaker Steve Barron, and has at its core the interaction between a successful actress (also a second negative cutter) played by Susan Ann Sulley walking out on "film director" Philip Oakey on a film set. It is loosely based on the film A Star Is Born. Near the end of the video, Wright, who also plays a film editor, has an expression on his face while the camera pulls back to reveal that the negative room where Oakey, Wright and Sulley were working is yet another set (the camera can be seen in the mirror's reflection).
At the time of the film's release, Rudolph Valentino was attempting to make a comeback in films. He rose to international stardom after the release of The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse and The Sheik in 1921, both of which were box-office hits and solidified his image as "the Great Lover". By 1924, however, Valentino's popularity had begun to wane after he appeared in two box office failures, Monsieur Beaucaire and A Sainted Devil, both of which featured him in roles that were a departure from his "Great Lover" image. He also squabbled over money with Famous Players-Lasky, the studio he was signed to, which eventually led to him walking out on his contract.

He also became active in Jewish causes, joining his local B'nai B'rith lodge. He grew increasingly concerned at what he saw as pervasive stereotyping of Jews, and after walking out on a theater performance in Chicago where he felt that Jews were being caricatured, he decided to form an organization to refute anti-Jewish stereotypes ("Anti-Defamation League" 2). He discussed the situation with a fellow attorney, Adolph Kraus, the president of B'nai B'rith, and on September 17, 1913, Livingston founded the Anti-Defamation League, at that time a committee of the Chicago B'nai B'rith ("Jews Organize" 8; Hutchings, 11). Livingston was known as a tireless advocate for tolerance, speaking out against antisemitism throughout the United States, through speaking engagements and conferences.
The argument takes a dark turn when Gaby threatens Carlos to leave if he continues to stand the way of Celia's "future"; a mistake which ends in Carlos walking out on the family. Many years later into the future, an elderly Gaby is seen watching old footage of Celia's first commercial with "Ouch Away" bandages among the tattered and heavily dilapidated remains of her home on Wisteria Lane. An adult Celia (in around her early to mid-twenties) is seen coming home to her mother with groceries for the first time in a while due to the two of them having to rely on food stamps to get by. Gaby's constant obsession with auditions and casting calls for Celia continue to press on many years later.

Following defeat in the previous year's race, Oxford's first in eleven years, American Chris Clark was determined to gain revenge: "Next year we're gonna kick ass ... Cambridge's ass. Even if I have to go home and bring the whole US squad with me." He recruited another four American post-graduates: three international-class rowers (Dan Lyons, Chris Huntington and Chris Penny) and a cox (Jonathan Fish), in an attempt to put together the fastest Boat Race crew in the history of the contest. Disagreements over the training regime of Dan Topolski, the Oxford coach, ("He wanted us to spend more time training on land than water!" lamented Lyons) led to the crew walking out on at least one occasion, and resulted in the coach revising his approach.

Tapes of their sessions surfaced in the late 2000s and were released on a compilation album in 2009. Razz likes to project an image himself of a high flying jet setter, living a lifestyle of expensive suits, exclusive nightclubs, champagne, wealth and influence, which is not matched by his relatively mundane Regional Manager job. He often begins to sing or rap in the middle of conversations, accompanied by bizarre physical gestures and often uses elaborate visual metaphors (such as having his secretly contemptuous personal assistant mime a dove being blown apart by an imaginary bullet when berating Lance) and unusual vocal pitch and tone to emphasise his points. As a result of his unpredictability, he is mostly treated with wariness and deference by the team, who are all too aware of the ease with which his volcanic temper can be provoked. Whilst treating Lance with utter scorn, and barely acknowledging Janine, he appears to have some appreciation of Jerwayne and Ashley's abilities as salesmen, inviting them to join the "legendary" "Elite Selling Crew," only for both men to decline the offer when they discover Razz had plotted to have them physically fight each other for the job, and walking out on the writhing Razz who has been shot in the testicles with a paintball gun.
