Up to 400 civilians disappeared or were killed trying to repel the invaders from the temples. Bửu Hội went to Gia Long Palace at the end of August to take leave and return to his laboratory. In the late 1990s, spam became used as a means of vandalising newsgroups, with malicious users committing acts of sporgery to make targeted newsgroups all but unreadable without heavily filtering.

The incident happened as the 57-year-old man confronted the group of protesters who were vandalising Ma On Shan station. The man was afterwards transported to the Prince of Wales Hospital at Sha Tin in critical condition, with head trauma and severe burns. A spokeswoman for the Fire Services Department said that the victim had second-degree burns on 28 per cent of his body.

After the incident Two cases were filed against more than 800 unnamed people for an arson attack. On 16 February 2012, police arrested 10 people on charges of vandalising Hindu temples and attacking and injuring the law enforcers. One of the detainees, construction worker Mohammad Jashim, 30, gave a confessional statement at Chittagong's Judicial Magistrates' Court. Apart from Jashim, the detainees are Emdad Ullah, 32, Mohammad Lokman, 46, Mohammad Frid, 35, Mohammad Osman, 35, Mohammad Abu Taher, 40, Manzur Alam, 38, Mohammad Shafi, 38, Abdul Karim, 70, and Hajji Mohammad Badsha, 65.

During the thirtieth series episode "Belief", Jacob is involved in a terrorist incident at the hospital and is shot by a police officer. The storyline begins with an attack carried out on an extremist vigilante group, who have been vandalising mosques. The assailant is brought into the ED along with those who have been injured, and Connie suspects that trouble between the two groups is forthcoming. White youths known as "skinheads" appeared in the Brick Lane area, vandalising property and reportedly spitting on Bengali children and assaulting women. Bengali children were allowed out of school early; women walked to work in groups to shield them from potential violence.

The foxtail palm (Wodyetia bifurcata) is a tree endemic to the granite boulder fields of the Melville Range, within Cape Melville National Park on Queensland's remote Cape York Peninsula. The tree was unknown beyond the local Aboriginal community until 1978, but its beauty meant it was an instant hit with urban gardeners the world over. By the mid-1980s, illegal harvesting of the plant's seeds for nurseries had become widespread. Though the palm was not endangered, the smugglers caused significant damage to the area by vandalising park gates, trampling undergrowth, felling whole stands of trees, poaching protected wildlife and depleting natural seed banks.

Newlove's 47-year-old husband Garry Newlove was murdered in August 2007 in Warrington, Cheshire, after confronting a gang of drunken youths who were vandalising her car – the culmination of a long-running campaign of youth gang crime in the Padgate area of the town. Five months later, three local teenagers were found guilty of murdering Garry Newlove, who died in hospital 36 hours after being repeatedly kicked and punched outside his house. They were sentenced to life imprisonment with recommended minimum terms of between 12 and 17 years. Two other suspects, also teenagers, were tried for the murder but found not guilty.

In April 2012, he made a series of prank videos in which he extorted celebrities vis-á-vis vandalising their Wikipedia pages. In May 2012, he posed as a rich man and made "indecent proposals" to celebrities such as Kelly Brook attending the Cannes Film Festival. In April 2012, he appeared in the video series produced by Don't Panic, dressed in an old lord outfit whilst arriving at the House of Lords to claim various expenses (Lords are reimbursed for expenses). He "purchased" land in Scotland, a token amount for £29.99, which presumably made him a de facto lord.

The other case was filed on October 6 against Liton and nine of "his men" on charges of vandalising a house and looting furniture and corrugated iron sheets from its roof in a Gaibandha village soon after the shooting. The incident triggered a furore in Liton's constituency with residents calling for the cancellation of his Parliament membership. Rosie the Shark is a preserved Great White Shark located at Crystal World Exhibition Centre in Devon Meadows. It was originally preserved in a glass tank of formaldehyde on display at Wildlife Wonderland in Bass, Victoria, Australia which ceased business in 2012 due to animal welfare concerns and operating without appropriate licences. Crystal World Exhibition Centre's director Tom Kapitany took ownership of the shark in 2019 in response to trespassers of the derelict wildlife park vandalising the sharks enclosure, destruction of the vitrine raising concerns of a potential biohazard.

Conversely, Bexy's father shows acceptance of his son's lifestyle, happily taking a group photograph of the 'tooled up' gang and boasting of similar activities in his own era. The police fired around 1,400 tear gas canisters and made 269 arrests on one day, setting a record for both since the protests began in June. The incident would remain a problem for Sandra and Jason to sort themselves, but for Jason's friends being caught by the police vandalising a car, and giving them Jason's address. Protesters have apologised for accidentally vandalising perceived "innocent" shops and banks by spray painting "sorry" on their property. After a large number of Mass Transit Railway stations were vandalised and subjected to arson, Hong Kong's rail operator shut down all train services, as well as all light rail and MTR-operated bus services, on the night of 4 October.

Newlove was attacked outside his house in Station Road North in the Padgate district of Warrington, Cheshire, on the evening of 10 August 2007, having gone outside to confront a gang of youths he suspected of vandalising his wife's car. He died in hospital in the early hours of 12 August 2007, less than 36 hours after the attack. London's mayor, Boris Johnson, who cut short a holiday in Canada to return to the UK on 9 August, said: "I'm appalled at the scenes of violence and destruction in Tottenham" whilst his deputy Kit Malthouse told a Sky News reporter that "criminal elements were to blame for the trouble." Prime Minister David Cameron condemned the "terrible scenes of people looting, vandalising, thieving, robbing" and told rioters "You will feel the full force of the law. And if you are old enough to commit these crimes, you are old enough to face the punishment." Croydon Central MP Gavin Barwell called the damage caused in the London Borough of Croydon "sickening".

They engage the services of Guptaji (Rajesh Sharma), a lawyer who has not a won a single case until then and is depressed because his wife ran away with his servant. During the court trial, Kaushik has a case filed against Vipul for running an immoral place and sends goons to Guptaji's house to intimidate him. The latter manages to get over his distress over his wife and presents an incriminating witness in court who had seen Kaushik and his goons beating up young couples outside Milan Hotel and vandalising it. In its judgement, the court comments that the Hotel Milan had been vandalised in a planned conspiracy.

In August 2015, a few months after she had been elected MLA for the Chandni Chowk constituency, Lamba was charged with vandalism and destruction of property in an incident which occurred within her own constituency. On 10 August 2015, a mob armed with lathis, swagger sticks and cricket bats attacked and badly vandalized a liquor shop located in the Kashmere Gate area of old Delhi. CCTV footage recorded shows Lamba leading the attack and vandalising the shop along with her supporters. The footage shows her reaching straight for the shop counter and violently pushing and spilling and throwing away the items on the counter.

She was known for scooping other reporters with her account of Winston Churchill's funeral, by vandalising a telephone after filing it, thereby delaying her rivals' reports. She reputedly told Ann Leslie that a female foreign correspondent should: She appeared as a "castaway" on the BBC Radio programme Desert Island Discs on 2 January 1967. Memorial in St John's Lodge Garden Six photographs of her, five in a 1961 series by Ida Kar and one from 1965, by Jorge Lewinski, are in the collection of the National Portrait Gallery. A memorial to her, in the form of a planted urn on a stone plinth, stands in St John's Lodge Garden, Regent's Park, London.

Australian rower Josh Booth, who competed in the Men's eight event, was expelled from the Australian team after vandalising shops while drunk. Kittian sprinter Kim Collins – who carried the flag of St. Kitts and Nevis at the Opening Ceremony – was removed from the men's 100m sprint before the heats by the St. Kitts and Nevis Olympic Committee, reportedly after leaving the Athletes' Village without permission to spend a night in a hotel with his wife. The national Olympic committee responded, stating that Collins had repeatedly ignored attempts by officials to contact him, and did not register for his events as had been requested of him. Collins was sent home, his accreditation to access the Olympic Village having been cancelled.

However in May 2000 he lost his licence to race in Hong Kong for the rest of the season after vandalising Kan's car. Quinn also received a six month ban from racing in Britain in 2011, when he was one of four jockeys, along with two owners and five others, found guilty of corruption by a British Horseracing Authority (BHA) investigation. Bosniaks in the lower part of the town were subjected to killings, rape and other mistreatment. During August 1992, the Croat forces launched attacks on the villages of Duhri, Potkraj, Radanovići and Topole and these attacks involved more violent incidents, including the setting of Bosniak homes on fire and vandalising their businesses. Many civilians who feared future attacks started to leave the Kiseljak enclave at this time. The ICTY Trial Chamber in the Kordić and Čerkez case decided that the weight of the evidence points clearly to the persecution of Bosniak civilians in the Central Bosnian municipalities taken over by the Croat forces: Busovača, Novi Travnik, Vareš, Kiseljak, Vitez, Kreševo and Žepče.

Becky attacks Jason in The Rovers Return pub and then goes on a pub crawl, getting drunk and stealing a girl's purse in a nightclub, flashing her breasts in public, and vandalising a travel agency window and a police car. When the police bring Becky in for questioning over her actions, she encounters DC Hooch (Dominic Carter), an adversary from her past. Becky reveals to Steve that Hooch arrested her for shoplifting when she was 15, and attempted to molest her.

Unlike other civil unrests, little random smashing and looting were observed, as protesters vandalised targets they believed embodied injustice. Corporations that protesters accused of being pro-Beijing, mainland Chinese companies, and shops engaging in parallel trading, were also vandalised, subject to arson or spray-painted. Protesters also directed violence at symbols of the government by vandalising government and pro- Beijing lawmakers' offices, and defacing symbols representing China. The MTR Corporation became a target of vandalism after protesters had accused the railway operator of kowtowing to pressure by Chinese media, Protestors also demanded the release of CCTV footage from the 2019 Prince Edward station incident amid fears that police may have beaten someone to death.

Landeryou was arrested along with two other men in St Kilda at 2.40am on the morning of the 2016 federal election, with police stating that they seized box cutters from the car the men were travelling in. They were charged over an alleged vandalism spree in the Melbourne electorate of Labor MP Michael Danby. At the time, Bill Shorten said “anyone in an election who is conducting vandalism deserves to have the book thrown at them”. Victorian Nationals senator Bridget McKenzie told the Federal Parliament that the four men had been arrested “for allegedly vandalising Greens and Liberal polling material at multiple polling stations from Elwood to Port Melbourne” and “allegedly driving at volunteers who tried to stop them”.

Incidences of violence against Christians had been reported during the month prior to the main attacks. On 17 August 2008, demonstrators performed a dharna (hunger strike) outside the DHM church in Jayanagar, Davangere and again on 24 August at Nitya Jeeva Devalaya church, burning Christian literature in both events. No complaints or arrests were made in either of the events.
