After Alexander's death in 323 BC, it became the capital of the Province of Margiana of the Seleucid, Greco-Bactrian (256-125 BC), Parthian, and Sassanid states. The Seleucid ruler Antiochus Soter (reigned 281–261 BC) renamed it to Antiochia Margiana; he rebuilt and expanded the city at the site presently known as Gyaur Gala (Gäwürgala) fortress. Cleomenes rejected this thinly disguised bribe and arranged for Maeandrius to be expelled from Sparta.

Considerable difficulty was encountered in finding sand and gravel suitable for the concrete piers. Aggregate taken from pits in the vicinity of the bridge was not satisfactory, as samples showed humus. Several deposits along the railway line all showed the presence of this constituent in various amounts, except samples from a pit in a glacial moraine in front of Spencer Glacier, 56 miles north of Seward. This deposit tested clear and was used; 7 per cent of sand was added to the bank aggregate, which was deficient in this respect. After a partial failure in one of the piers during September, 1920, caused by poor cement, the presence of humus in the aggregate and the low temperature of the air and water, special measures were resorted to in placing concrete in main piers. When the cofferdam was unwatered, the bottom of the enclosure was under a 22-ft.

In 2000, East Coast based label Metal Mayhem Music, in conjunction with Adam 'Bomb' Brenner, issued "the unwatered down studio version of TKO's In Your Face" and packaged it with a 1981 live recording as In Your Face & Up Your Ass; the same company also issued Below The Belt on disc in 2001. Let It Roll and In Your Face were finally re-issued on CD in 2008 via North Carolina's Divebomb Records with the full participation of Brad Sinsel. Both releases feature bonus tracks and liner notes written by noted Canadian writer Martin Popoff, editor-in-chief for Brave Words & Bloody Knuckles. The master tapes for Let It Roll were not available and both albums were re-mastered from a cleaned up LP. Bonus tracks on Let It Roll are taken from a tape of an in- studio live performance that was broadcast August 10, 1978 on Seattle rock radio station KZOK-FM.
