While Engine #127 was destroyed in a later traffic accident, Engine #60 returned to its permanent assignment on the Universal set until its retirement in 1987. The two versions of Engine 51, the 1965 Crown Firecoach (assigned as Engine #60; the final open-cab fire engine of Los Angeles) and the 1973 Ward LaFrance (donated to Universal for filming use) are now owned by the County of Los Angeles Fire Museum Association and have been fully restored.

Currently it is especially popular in the United Kingdom, Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Norway. There is no universal set of rules for counting ‘hopped grounds’, although a generally accepted one is that a match must have been seen at the ground. There are some formal organisations for groundhoppers, including The 92 Club in England, which consists of groundhoppers who have visited matches in all stadiums of the Premier and Football League. With this there are also (mostly) charity based races to see who can go round the 92 Football League Stadia in the shortest amount of time, initially being called 92 Grounds in 92 Hours, the current record is 72 hours, set by four fans of Swindon Town in 2015.

Other professionals, typified by Dr. Kenneth Zucker, the Head of the Gender Identity Service, Child, Youth, and Family Program and Psychologist-in-Chief at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health in Toronto, believe in behavior modification to minimize childhood gender dysphoria. Dr. Zucker asks the rhetorical question of whether it would be ethical to treat an African American child who wishes to identify as Caucasian with cosmetic surgeries to facilitate this identity, though his critics point out that gender identity is completely non-analogous to ethnic identity. He has also been criticized for statements suggesting that children with nonnormative gender might be autistic and hyperfocusing on gender. There is no one universal set of behavioral interventions designed to reduce stress in children with GID.

Let F be an arbitrary family of subsets of X. Then there exists a unique smallest σ-algebra which contains every set in F (even though F may or may not itself be a σ-algebra). It is, in fact, the intersection of all σ-algebras containing F. (See intersections of σ-algebras above.) This σ-algebra is denoted σ(F) and is called the σ-algebra generated by F. Then σ(F) consists of all the subsets of X that can be made from elements of F by a countable number of complement, union and intersection operations. Maria Montez became famous in the 1940s appearing in a series of movies at Universal set in exotic locales and filmed in color alongside Jon Hall and Sabu, such as Arabian Nights, White Savage and Cobra Woman. In September 1943 Universal announced they would make Flame of Stamboul, from a script by Alice Miller, to star Montez, Hall and Turhan Bey, who was to play the role meant for Sabu because Sabu had gone into the army. Paul Malvern was to produce and the film was meant to be shot in color. Miller's script was set in Turkey, which was neutral for most of World War II. However this was ultimately felt to be too problematic politically – in particular Universal were worried about upsetting the Turkish government – and filming was postponed.

Except for the two first films it produced, Claude Chabrol's Le scandale (English title The Champagne Murders, 1967) and Romain Gary's Les oiseaux vont mourir au Pérou (English title Birds in Peru), it was only involved in French or other European co-productions, including Louis Malle's Lacombe, Lucien, Bertrand Blier's Les Valseuses (English title Going Places, 1974), and Fred Zinnemann's The Day of the Jackal (1973). It was only involved in approximately 20 French film productions. In the early 1970s, the unit was incorporated into the French Cinema International Corporation arm.

Planck in 1918, the year he received the Nobel Prize in Physics for his work on quantum theory At first Planck considered that quantisation was only "a purely formal assumption ... actually I did not think much about it ..."; nowadays this assumption, incompatible with classical physics, is regarded as the birth of quantum physics and the greatest intellectual accomplishment of Planck's career (Ludwig Boltzmann had been discussing in a theoretical paper in 1877 the possibility that the energy states of a physical system could be discrete). The discovery of Planck's constant enabled him to define a new universal set of physical units (such as the Planck length and the Planck mass), all based on fundamental physical constants upon which much of quantum theory is based. In April 2012, Universal Studios announced they were developing a reboot of the series with writer Jon Spaihts, and with Sean Daniel returning as producer. In May 2012, Universal also signed a two-year deal to produce the film with K/O Paper Products. In September 2012, Universal announced it hired Len Wiseman to direct the film. In December 2012, it was reported the film would use different mythology and would be set in the present. In February 2013, Universal asked The Hunger Games writer Billy Ray to write a competing draft against Spaihts written script. July of 2013, Wiseman left the film project due to schedule conflicts. In September 2013, news reported that Mamas director Andrés Muschietti was in talks to direct the film. In October 2013, Orci hinted that both The Mummy and Van Helsing reboots would have a shared universe. November of 2013, Universal set the film to release on April 22, 2016.

Soft set theory is a generalization of fuzzy set theory, that was proposed by Molodtsov in 1999 to deal with uncertainty in a parametric manner. A soft set is a parameterised family of sets - intuitively, this is "soft" because the boundary of the set depends on the parameters. Formally, a soft set, over a universal set X and set of parameters E is a pair (f, A) where A is a subset of E, and f is a function from A to the power set of X. For each e in A, the set f(e) is called the value set of e in (f, A). One of the most important steps for the new theory of soft sets was to define mappings on soft sets, which was achieved in 2009 by the mathematicians Athar Kharal and Bashir Ahmad, with the results published in 2011. Soft sets have also been applied to the problem of medical diagnosis for use in medical expert systems.

To do so they had to accept the FA code, which led to the quick spread of a universal set of rules. These rules are the basis of which all association football rules today stem from. Sheffield F.C.
