Each department has its own museum, laboratory and tutorial room. Students receive clinical training in the nearby 500-bed Muhammad Medical college Hospital. There are male and female dormitories. A large three-storey female dormitory has recently been opened.

It has four lecture galleries equipped with all modern teaching aids (of which two gallery is air conditioned). It has a dissection hall with attached preservation room, has a histology room and has a museum for the department of Anatomy. In addition it has well furnished laboratories for all other pre- clinical & para-clinical departments. Every departments have their own tutorial room.

Tutorial room The new building, to become known as the Hewitson Wing, was set parallel to the main west range, behind it, forming the east flank of the quadrangle. With a library as its front, facing the quadrangle, and with a hall behind, this structure is very deep. It is linked by an arch to the north range, closing the quadrangle's corner at that point.

The Instructional area available on the IMDR campus includes classrooms, tutorial room, library, computer centre and an auditorium with the seating capacity of 175. The main campus has an administrative block, students' common room, canteen and other amenities, including the reprographic facility which is made available for students on the campus. The total built up area is over 24,000 sq feet. There are ten residential units for the non-teaching staff and three for the teaching staff.

Mr Ahern also officially opened the modern extension in 2002. The extension includes nine classrooms, a double length lecture hall, two science labs, a science tutorial room (known as "the demo- room"), a library and a dedicated technology room. The work also involved the housing of a computer room and a language lab in the old building while the classrooms on the ground floor of the old building were converted into a G.P. room. A modern gym was also built at the south end of the rugby pitch.

The current campus of National Junior College is located at 37 Hillcrest Road in Bukit Timah, houses both the Junior High and Senior High sections of the school, as well as a boarding school. This current campus features five lecture theatres (with two theatres having a seating capacity of 500), three tutorial room blocks and three information technology rooms. The campus also features three Sigma labs, which are equipped with sophisticated scientific instruments and equipment to promote science research in the college. The college has a dedicated art block as part of the Art Elective Programme (Singapore) (AEP).

Evidence was offered that he harboured delusional beliefs that William Wu was an agent of evil and would destroy him academically, and that his actions on 21 October 2002 focused on fulfilling a perceived destiny to kill Wu. The defence and prosecution in Xiang's trial agreed that he suffered from a paranoid delusional disorder. The prosecution asked the jury to find him not guilty. On 17 June 2004 the Victorian Supreme Court jury found him not guilty of the murder of Wu and Chan and of the attempted murder of five other people in the tutorial room due to mental impairment. Justice Bernard Teague ordered Xiang be transferred to the Thomas Embling psychiatric hospital.

However, it was shot entirely in and around Dublin, which was given an English appearance: in several street scenes, for example, British red telephone boxes appear. Trinity College, Dublin, is used as the setting for the university, and University College Dublin, in Belfield, is used for Rita's summer school. The rooms used by Bryant as his office and tutorial room were those of the College Historical Society and the University Philosophical Society, respectively; and while the building was considerably refurnished, the production chose to leave portraits of Douglas Hyde and Isaac Butt and committee photographs in the former, and a bust of John Pentland Mahaffy in the latter. No. 8 Hogan Avenue in Dublin 2 near Grand Canal Dock was used for Rita's house in the film, and one in Burlington Road, Ballsbridge for Bryant's.
