This development, combined with their increased exposure to human emotions and culture through watching the wedding causes a wave of mutinies to spread through the Zentraedi fleet, forcing Breetai to call a truce. Afterwards, Miriya becomes Max's wingmate on duty, piloting a red fighter alongside Max's blue one. In the final battle against Dolza's Grand Fleet, the two fight side by side in their transformable fighters. After the Zentraedi Fleet that nearly destroys the earth is vanquished, Max and Miriya settle down in New Macross City and begin a new life together.

Lance Belmont (Voiced by: Jimmy Flinders) (Also known as Yellow Belmont in Genesis Climber Mospeada) appears in the third chapter of the Robotech series. He joined the fight with Scott Bernard and his group to battle the Invid. Lance first appears in Episode 63 - "Lonely Soldier Boy" where he is a part of the first attack wing that attempts to liberate the Earth from the Invid. He flies a non-transformable spacecraft but crash lands during the attack, the rest of the division is destroyed by the Invid forces.

The story was based during an era of peace under an interplanetary federation a thousand years in the future, to avoid conflicts with Robotech's complex continuity. Previous Mega Man games typically allowed the player to call on the transformable dog Rush or use other support items in order to traverse difficult or otherwise inaccessible parts of a stage. Mega Man 6 instead features a pair of "Rush Adaptors" that fuse Mega Man and Rush into special forms. When the Icarus returns to Earth, it comes under attack by several unknown fighters that were also accidentally transported by the ship. Scott Bernard, a resistance-fighter from Earth is able to destroy both attackers using his transformable fighter, allowing the Icarus to land safely for repairs.

The British Ice Challenger exploration team used a screw drive in their Snowbird 6 vehicle (a modified Bombardier tracked craft) to traverse the ice floes in the Bering Strait. The rotating cylinders allowed Snowbird 6 to move over ice and to propel itself through water, but the screw system was not considered suitable for long distances, and the cylinders could be raised so that the vehicle could also run on conventional caterpillar tracks. The Ice Challenger website says that the design was inspired by a Russian vehicle used to pick up cosmonauts who landed in Siberia (perhaps the ZIL-2906). Russian inventor Alexey Burdin has come up with a screw-propulsion system "TESH-drive Transformable worms".

By 1984 Takara was continuing the trend of focusing their New Microman line away from the core Microman action figures to robots and other items. Specifically, their new focus was on their line of transformable items in the Micro Change line. Technically Microman Secret File Volume 1 was not a traditional, stand-alone manga one could purchase on their own; it was a combination catalog and manga that was packaged with a few of the new toys in the 1984 Micro Change toyline such as MC-19: Binocular Robo Scope Man. Its purpose was to establish the new direction of the Microman toyline and place the new Micro Change line in proper context within the larger Microman universe.

In Robotech, development of the Valkyrie began at the end of the Global Civil War, when an alien spaceship crashed into Macross Island in the South Pacific. After learning of the existence of large aggressive humanoid aliens, a United Earth Government was formed and development began on the mecha by the Robotech Defense Force to combat the alien threat by using Robotechnology obtained from the SDF-1 alien ship. In the "Robotech" continuity, the VF-0 did not exist; the non-transformable VF-X was followed by a version which had only fighter and Guardian mode. Not until June 2007 was the final version of the VF-1, which could transform into battloid mode, released.

He continues to pursue the Audhumla across North America and nearly succeeds in destroying it himself but is thwarted by Amuro Ray. Despite help from the Cyber-Newtype Rosamia Badam, Buran consistently fails to sink the Audhumla is killed by Amuro piloting a Rick Dias that formerly belonged to Roberto's wingmate Apolly Bay.

In Wibarm, the player controls a transformable mecha robot that can shift between walking mode, a tank, and a flying jet. The viewpoint switches between several different perspectives: a 2D top-down perspective while flying, a side-scrolling view during on-foot outdoor exploration, a fully 3D polygonal third-person perspective inside buildings, and arena-style 2D shoot 'em up battles during boss encounters. The game features a variety of weapons and equipment as well as an automap, and the player can upgrade equipment and earn experience to raise stats. Minmei tries to rekindle her relationship with Rick, who still has feelings for her despite his feelings for Lisa Hayes, who by now is in love with Rick and is increasingly upset about Rick's obsession with Minmei. When Minmei and Kyle are kidnapped by the rebel Zentraedi leader Khyron, Rick Hunter again comes to her rescue by leading an operation, called "Starsaver", in which he blasts his way into Khyron's fortress in his transformable fighter and rescues her and Kyle. Later, after landing his fighter at a nearby base, Minmei runs crying into Rick's arms while Kyle and Lisa Hayes look on in anger and disgust. Rick and Minmei rekindle their love, and a short time later, on Christmas Eve, they share a kiss.

One is the engine size (the D features an uprated 499 cc engine producing 17 bhp as standard—this engine is used right through until the end of the L in 1973) and the other is the roof: the standard D roof does not fold back as far as the roof on the Nuova, though it was also available as the "Transformable" with the same roof as the Nuova. The D also features "suicide doors". In New Zealand, where it was locally assembled by Torino Motors, the 500 D was sold as the "Fiat Bambina" (Italian for "baby"), a name that is still in use there to describe this car.

The story chronicled the battle between the crew of the semi-transformable carrier Daikū Maryū (also called the Kargosaur in the Shogun Warriors toyline, and also known as the Great Space Dragon in the US English dub) and the Super Robot Gaiking invented by Dr. Daimonji (Prof. Hightech in the English-language version of the show or Dr. Diamond in Spanish version) against an invading race of aliens called the Dark Horror Army. This army hails from the planet Zela whose home planet is facing destruction by their star, Sigma, turning into a black hole as their population starts to become extinct. Notable aspects of the series include the dinosaur-based designs of the Daikū Maryū and its support machines and the use of part of the carrier to form the main robot.

In addition to video games based on the original animated series, Shinji appears in media outside the Evangelion franchise such as Monster Strike, Tales of Zestiria, Puzzle & Dragons, and a crossover episode of Shinkansen Henkei Robo Shinkalion in which he is voiced by Ogata and pilots a 500 Type Eva transformable train. He is a playable character in the Super Robot Wars crossover video-game franchise, where he and other Evangelion characters work with characters from other mecha series. Shinji has crushes on other characters, such as Lynn Minmay (sparking jealousy in Asuka, who tries to recapture his attention). In other games, Eva Unit-01 goes berserk after fighting the fourth angel and he fights Kouji Kabuto and Mazinger Z. After regaining his sanity, Shinji and Rei rejoin the battle against the Angels.

Completing quests and fighting enemies grants the character several types of experience points (EXP); standard EXP raises a character's health and general statistics, while Class EXP raises a character's assigned Class. The avatar can adopt different roles within BLADE, each of which grants different advantages; Pathfinders open up new locations, Interceptors defend research teams from hostile lifeforms, Harriers actively seek hostile lifeforms, including powerful monsters called Tyrants; Reclaimers retrieve wreckage from the White Whale, Curators explore new locations and collect data for BLADE, Prospectors collect rare resources, Outfitters develop gear, and Mediators resolve conflicts among NLA's people. The avatar initially explores Mira on foot, but gains access to the transformable Skell mechs during the later half of the game after completing a specific set of quests.

The Newman Center's offices and chapel stand adjacent to the historic church. The structure, an example of Territorial Victorian Romanesque Revival architecture, was constructed with bricks fired nearby with clay from Fort McDowell and is adorned with twelve stained glass windows. The bell tower, rising above the double-door entrance, houses a bell constructed in St. Louis in 1903 specially for the church. A 2019-2020 renovation of the interior undertaken by Mary College at ASU, in conjunction with the All Saints Catholic Newman Center, added a new paint scheme and a mural of Our Lady of Guadalupe emblazoned with her words to St. Juan Diego, “¿No estoy yo aquí, yo que tengo el honor de ser tu Madre?” (Am I not here, I who have the honor of being your mother?) As home to Mary College at ASU, the historic church is now utilized as a study library, transformable into a lecture hall and event space.

In 2010, an evil energy being named Draias comes to Earth, joining forces with Dr. Jango, a wicked scientist, in secrecy to bring ruin to the world. The follows him to Earth and their members put their spirits into either the special android vehicles built by the Japanese scientist Hiroshi Amano (which have transformable bodies and were intended to be rescue units), or into different service vehicles like an ambulance, a police car or a firefighter truck. Their commander, Fighbird, merges with a human-shaped android created by Dr. Amano to handle his creations, and from then on lives as the human Yutaro Katori. He transforms into the super robot Fighbird when the enemy attacks, and in the meantime he tries to adapt himself to living with Dr. Amano and his grandchildren Kenta and Haruka so he can interact with humans, learn more about Earth itself, and put a stop to Draias' and Jango's plans for Earth and the Universe itself.
