The school later became Tollbar Business and Enterprise College, changing to Tollbar Business, Enterprise and Humanities College in 2008/9. In autumn 2010 the school gained Academy status, once again changing its name to Tollbar Academy. It was one of the first to change to an Academy under the new legislation as implemented by the 2010 Coalition government.

Between here and the next junction, the A45 runs concurrent with the A46. The Tollbar End roundabout was one of the busiest in the Midlands. It had exits for the A46 north / Coventry Eastern Bypass, Coventry Airport and B4110. In early 2017, the Tollbar End roundabout was upgraded and the junction is now a roundabout interchange with an underpass for the A46.

The school had 26 feeder schools from the surrounding area, and its partner secondary school was King Edward VI Grammar School, the local Grammar School. Over 50% of Cordeaux's pupils traveled to school by bus from outlying areas. On 20 June 2017, it was announced that Cordeaux Academy would transfer academy sponsorship from The Academies Enterprise Trust to The Tollbar Multi Academy Trust (Tollbar MAT) from September 2017 at a request from the Regional Schools Commissioner.

The original school was opened in 1937 for 300 pupils. It became the Tollbar Secondary Modern School. Further expansion occurred in the 1970s, and has continued. It is situated on the junction of the A16 and B1219.

The A1098 is a secondary route in North East Lincolnshire It is a very short but major 4.3 miles (6.9 km) of road. It runs from the A180 road and A46 road at Issacs hill roundabout to Tollbar Roundabout with the A16 road and the B1219 road to Waltham.

The Berrima Post Office was erected on the earlier "Old Tollhouse" or Tollbar site. The postmaster was moved into the new office on 17 August 1887. It was not until 1890 that the block of ground, being Lot 19 of Section 2, was transferred to the Postmaster- General.

North, on Burnley Road, Liam Spencer is among a group of notable painters, sculptors, and print-makers at Prospect Studios, and further along are the Clarke Holme/Valley Artists studios. To the east, at Tollbar in the direction of Bacup, is Globe Arts, the oldest of the local artists studio groups.

Hill was born in Tunbridge Wells. After a short karting career, he began car racing in 2008, having signed with Tollbar Racing to tackle the Ginetta Junior Championship Winter Series. Hill finished the series as the top rookie and fourth overall. This led to Hill joining the main championship in 2009.

The Post Office is located on the site of the earlier "Old Tollbar". The post office is situated on a prominent corner site in the town of Berrima. It makes an important contribution to the historic precinct of Berrima. Berrima Post Office was listed on the New South Wales State Heritage Register on 2 April 1999.

It does not have a sixth form. It is situated on Humberston Avenue (B1219 - off the A1031) in the west of Humberston. Further to the west along the B1219 is the Tollbar Academy, and the school is less than one mile north of Lincolnshire (East Lindsey - Tetney and Holton-le-Clay, which has grammar schools). Directly to the west is the Humberston Country Club golf club.

Smith was born on 16 August 1961 in Grimsby. She grew up in Grimsby, where her grandfather had been Mayor. She attended Waltham Leas Primary School (now The Leas Junior School) in Waltham and Tollbar Secondary School, in New Waltham, Lincolnshire. She joined the Labour Party at the age of 16 and worked for the NHS for five years, before taking A-levels on an evening course.

Ingram's success, which included eight other podium finishes to go with his five wins, came despite having one of the smallest budgets of all the grid. Ingram's championship-winning margin was 65 points over Tollbar driver Jake Hill, who won ten races but championship aspirations were thwarted by a disqualification at the Brands Hatch GP meeting, and accidents at Silverstone and Brands Hatch Indy. TJ Motorsport's Louise Richardson finished third with a pair of victories at Snetterton and Brands Hatch Indy, along with ten other podium finishes including a run of eight successive podium finishes during the middle part of the season. Her team-mate Jody Fannin got the better of Tom Howard, who was a TJ driver until mid-season when he joined Hill at Tollbar, for fourth and fifth places; Fannin took victories at Brands Hatch GP and Croft, while Howard took the other victory at Rockingham.

In September 2012 The Wolds College merged with Cordeaux School and in January 2013 became part of Cordeaux Academy under The Academies Enterprise Trust. Cordeaux Academy's Sixth Form was moved into the space vacated by the area used for hair and beauty. Cordeaux Academy was taken over by Tollbar MAT in September 2017 and Renamed Louth Academy North. At this point all post 16 education was removed from the former college.

Noel Penny Turbines was a British company that produced small jet engines, most notably the Noel Penny NPT301. It was established in Coventry in 1972 by Noel Penny, a former designer and chief engineer from Rover Gas Turbines in Solihull. The company employed hundreds of engineers at its works at Siskin Drive, Tollbar End in Coventry over a period of two decades. It eventually went into receivership in 1991, with the rights to the engine designs being sold off.

The A16 by-passes the village to the west, and meets the B1219 at Toll Bar Roundabout. The boundary of North East Lincolnshire and East Lindsey is immediately south of the village, near Enfield Primary School, and the Lincolnshire village of Holton le Clay is to the south. The village has three schools: Enfield Primary School, New Waltham Academy and the secondary school, Tollbar Academy, which is the largest in the region and between the village and Waltham.

Cleethorpes Academy is a secondary school with academy status, based in Cleethorpes, North East Lincolnshire, England. The school opened in September 2010, on the site previously occupied by the Lindsey School and Community Arts College. Cleethorpes Academy is owned and operated by Tollbar MAT, an educational trust formed in May 2012 as a group of schools in the Lincolnshire LEA. The decision to close the Lindsey School and open Cleethorpes Academy, came after the former was placed in special measures by Ofsted, the Government appointed schools inspectorate.

The A1098 starts at Issacs hill roundabout then follows up the hill to the High Street now it follows the coast on Alexandra road until at a mini roundabout it turns right down Queens Pareade. It goes in a straight line for about a mile past Cleethorpes Academy toward Hewitts Circus where it meats the A1031 road now it goes straight on past Tesco to New Waltham Traffic Lights where it turns into New Waltham. Next you come to a roundabout with the B1219 where it turns right follows that road until its end at Tollbar Academy.

Riseley High Street runs more or less North South for a distance of one mile from end to end and was designated as a Turnpike in May 1802. A widened area in the grass verge at the southern end of the High Street where the High Street is joined by Sharnbrook Road marks where the tollbooth stood. This road junction is still known as Tollbar Corner. A Blue Plaque mounted on the end wall facing the High Street of the cottage adjoining 76 High Street commemorates the placing of the plaque 200 years after the toll road designation.

The A46 junction for Stoneleigh and the University of Warwick The A46 reappears at Coventry at junction 2 of the M6, it follows the boundary between the district of Rugby and the borough of Coventry, always staying inside Warwickshire. At Binley Woods the A428 is crossed at a roundabout. The next roundabout is the signal controlled Tollbar Roundabout, where there are exits for the A45 and Coventry Airport. There is a break in the road here, and it resumes again at Festival Island where the it takes the southern exit on to the three lane Kenilworth bypass.

The bridge is now a scheduled monument, and was replaced in 1899 with a new bridge to the south. A bridge was constructed at Richmond which spanned the River Swale. Over this, the turnpike went in a rough south westerly direction encountering its first tollbar at Slee Hill where the edge of Richmond was. The bridge at Richmond, always known as Green Bridge as it connected Richmond Green with the south side of the Swale, which until that point, had not existed as a crossing and in fact was the only crossing of the Swale in Richmond until the bridge connecting to the railway station was opened in 1876.

In October 2009, headteacher Diane Johnson refused to return to the school, when it was reported unofficially that the school was to be placed in special measures following its Ofsted inspection. Johnson resigned officially a month later, after the OFSTED report was published, confirming the schools special measures status. She was replaced on an interim basis by Jim Cunningham who was drafted in as a result of his experience with other failing schools in the area. In March 2010 however, the schools minister accepted a proposal from Tollbar Edge to replace the Lindsey School with an academy, and it eventually closed at the end of the academic year in July 2010.
