Record collectors often find Fortune's numbering system confusing because there were several series issued at once, and also because some particular record numbers were used more than once. From the early 1950s to fall 1956, Fortune had a storefront at 11629 Linwood (now demolished). However, Fortune's best-known location was at 3942 Third Avenue in a small concrete block building.
Roberts later appeared in pantomime, starring opposite Ronnie Corbett and Clodagh Rodgers in the 1971 production of Cinderella at the London Palladium. Roberts also was a songwriter, collaborating with Sammy Cahn, Les Reed and Lynsey de Paul ("The Way It Goes" on de Paul's debut album Surprise), as well as writing incidental music for ITV's dramatisation of Lady Chatterley's Lover. He represented Luxembourg at the Eurovision Song Contest 1985. The song, "Children, Kinder, Enfants" was written by Ralph Siegel, Bernd Meinunger and Jean-Michel Beriat, all of whom had written Eurovision entries before, with Siegel and Meinunger writing the 1982 German winner.
In an album guide for Rolling Stone, the track was described as "worthy" and "sensual". Jose F. Promis from AllMusic reviewed the remixes by Pettibone and gave a positive review believing them to have held up "surprisingly well" many years since their release and are "good examples of what house/pop dance music was like in the early '90s". A reviewer from Sputnikmusic rated the song 4 out of 5, finding it similar to "Justify My Love" but "just not as good. It's a shame that this ends the album rather than [the former], but that's the way it goes, I suppose".
"That's the Way It Goes" is a song by English musician George Harrison from his 1982 album Gone Troppo. Harrison wrote the song during a period when he had become uninterested in contemporary music and was enjoying success as a film producer with his company HandMade Films. Partly influenced by his extended holidays in Hawaii and Australia, the lyrics convey his dismay at the world's preoccupation with money and status, although, unlike several of Harrison's previous musical statements on the subject, he expresses resignation and acceptance. Harrison recorded the song at his Friar Park studio in 1982.
Giri is defined as social obligation and is best explained in the way it goes in direct conflict with ninjō. According to Doi Takeo, giri can be classified with those forms and actions that locates the self in relation to society whereas ninjō falls within the category of the inner and intimate realm of the self. Scholars refer to the dynamics of the giri-ninjō relationship as a dichotomy that reflects the human dilemma of needing to belong to the realm of the outside (soto) and of the inside (uchi). Giri relationship also have an emotive quality.

SR 202 passes into a more rural setting composed primarily of farmland, with some clumps of trees and houses appearing along the way. It goes through the unincorporated community of West Charleston, then goes on to meet SR 571 at a signalized intersection east of Tipp City. North of SR 571, SR 202 curves to the northwest, clipping the southwest corner of Elizabeth Township prior to crossing into Staunton Township.
It was the 13th best-selling single of 1984 in the UK, selling more than several number one hits that year. The song was co-written by Melle Mel and Sylvia Robinson. Originally, it was intended to be an ironic celebration of a cocaine-fueled party lifestyle, but it was abridged with the "don't do it" message as a concession to commercial considerations. The lines "A businessman is caught with 24 kilos / He's out on bail and out of jail and that's the way it goes" refers to car manufacturer John DeLorean, who in 1982 became entrapped in a scheme to save his company from bankruptcy using drug money.
The track includes contributions from British musicians such as Henry Spinetti, Herbie Flowers and Ray Cooper, along with a deep-toned vocal part from American gospel singer Willie Greene. Indicating Harrison's enduring admiration for the song, it was one of the B-sides of the 12-inch single "When We Was Fab" in 1988, and he subsequently included it on his compilation album Best of Dark Horse 1976–1989. Among retrospective appraisals of Harrison's musical career, several commentators have identified "That's the Way It Goes" as a highlight of Gone Troppo. In November 2002, a year after Harrison's death, Joe Brown performed the song at the Concert for George in London.

Smoove & Turrell borrowed from the backing track to "Water" on their single "You Don't Know" and its various remixes in 2009, with permission from de Paul, who also received a writing credit for the song. This version was included on their 2019 greatest hits album "Solid Brass: Ten Years Of Northern Funk".
Schoenberg formed the Loren Schoenberg Big Band, a repertory group devoted to performing the more obscure classics of the 1930s, '40s, and '50s, though it eventually performed new works as well. The band performed at major venues, including the Blue Note, Michael's Pub, and Carnegie Hall. In 1984, the Loren Schoenberg Big Band released its first album, That's the Way It Goes, followed by Time Waits for No One (1987), Solid Ground (1988), Just A-Settin' and A-Rockin ' (1989), Manhattan Work Song (1992), and Out of This World (1999). Schoenberg recorded S'posin ' in 1990 with a quartet and has recorded with Benny Carter, Jimmy Heath, Bobby Short, Christian McBride, and John Lewis.
I-55 within Illinois carries heavy traffic, with an average of more than 20,000 vehicles per day for most of its length. Significant portions of I-55 contain six lanes (three lanes in each direction) and are heavily used by commuters. I-55 in Illinois begins in East St. Louis on the Poplar Street Bridge over the Mississippi River at the Missouri–Illinois state line and runs southwest to northeast through the state, ending in Chicago at US 41 (Lake Shore Drive). Along the way, it goes through four metropolitan areas in the state: the Illinois portion of the St. Louis metropolitan area, the Springfield metropolitan area, the Bloomington-Normal metropolitan area, and the Chicago metropolitan area (also known as Chicagoland).
In July a new line-up of Phil Manning Band was Cuddihy, Grant, John J Hackett on drums (ex- Rum Jungle) and Midge Marsden on guitar. His brother, Dennis, briefly joined on keyboards and in May 1979 they issued the single, "Just the Way It Goes". Dennis had left, Robbie Geapon replaced Cuddihy on bass guitar and Bob Bickerton (ex- Mándu Band) replaced Hackett on drums to record an album, Live on Polydor Records, for New Zealand release only, in 1979. The Matt Taylor Phil Manning Band was formed in Perth in late 1980 with his former Chain bandmate. The group included Roy Daniel on bass guitar and Ric Whittle on drums and recorded an album, Oz Blues and a single "Spring Hill" both issued in June 1981.

In an interview with 4Gamer he stated "The reason why I'm quitting is basically because I think that the game industry itself must change the way it goes about making games,". He cited that job security creates complacency among staff, and big budgets with very large staff, as problems with current Japanese game companies. On December 15, 2010, Inafune launched a new company called Comcept, based in Osaka.

Cleverly earned the interim version of the belt on 11 December 2010 in an unimpressive contest with the Frenchman Nadjib Mohammedi at the Echo Arena in Liverpool. Winning 115–112, 116–111 and 115–113 on the scorecards despite also having a point deducted Cleverly described his opponent as "very awkward" and said "he was making me miss and dragging me in but this is the way it goes sometimes." Cleverly had fought for the interim title as the full champion Jürgen Brähmer was in the midst of an appeal against a 16-month jail sentence for assault and insulting behaviour. An appeal heard in Germany on 13 December 2010 would, if Brähmer had been unsuccessful and sent to prison, have resulted in the belt being vacated and Cleverly being upgraded to the full champion status.
Unlike on The Best of George Harrison (1976), which Capitol Records had compiled after the expiration of his EMI contract, Harrison was involved in the selection of songs for Best of Dark Horse. The compilation includes his hit singles "Crackerbox Palace" (1977), "Blow Away" (1979), "All Those Years Ago" (1981), "Got My Mind Set on You" (1987) and "When We Was Fab" (1988), and two other songs that had placed on one of Billboard magazine's US singles charts: "Love Comes to Everyone" (1979) and "Wake Up My Love" (1982). The new album omitted charting singles such as "This Song" (1976) and "This Is Love" (1988), however. Over these, Harrison favoured a selection of album tracks: "Here Comes the Moon", from 1979's George Harrison album; "Life Itself", from Somewhere in England (1981); "That's the Way It Goes" and "Gone Troppo", from the 1982 album Gone Troppo; and the title track from Cloud Nine, which had charted on Billboards Album Rock Tracks listings.

Music Box editor John Metzger also holds it in low regard, writing: "Gone Troppo was undoubtedly the worst of George Harrison's solo albums … A few tunes, such as That's the Way It Goes and Unknown Delight, might have worked better if given different arrangements, but as a whole, Gone Troppo was a largely forgettable and sometimes embarrassing affair that appealed only to complete-ists and fanatics." More impressed, Dave Thompson wrote in Goldmine magazine of its standing as the release that preceded Harrison's temporary retirement from music: "to accuse the album itself of hastening that demise is grossly unfair.
