Blackbird recognizes Wayne from Walpole Island, where he and Richie press Lionel for Wayne's whereabouts before killing him. Staying at the home of Richie's girlfriend Donna, Blackbird and Richie arrive at the Colsons' house just as Wayne drives off. Richie takes off after him, and Carmen confronts Blackbird with Wayne's shotgun before locking herself inside and calling the police.

Unfortunately, Santa proves immune to paradox, and he takes off after them with a missile launcher. The crew escapes the fortress, and is about to leave in the ship, but Santa grabs the engine and prevents the ship from taking off. The heat from the engine melts the ice under Santa's feet, and he sinks in the ice, which refreezes around him.

But Tae-sik's acting career soon takes off after he gets out of jail, and his success and stardom starts to threaten and eclipse Won-joon's.

When this fails, Wayne, Gemma, and Wendy attempt to smuggle Juice down south, but he takes off after Gemma attempts to kill him. When a deal goes wrong between SAMCRO and the Aryan Brotherhood, one of Unser's former officers, Candy Eglee, is ambushed seriously injured by gunshot wounds. Unser visits Eglee daily at the hospital and later kills an AB member, named Leland, in Eglee's hospital room, who was sent to finish her off in order to keep her silent.

They try asking questions to the players, who end up ignoring them, and Curly finds an ice cream vendor and takes off after him, somehow hijacking his wagon. Packer, seeing that Polly brought back Liane, realizes he doesn't need her anymore and chooses Polly (much to the excitement of the chief, who takes off after Liane with his katana), and the two kiss, only to be frightened by a still-alive but badly maimed Bell ("Shpadoinkle [Finale]").

On the opening day of the fair, LeRoi kidnaps Tolliver from his mansion and takes him aboard a Zeppelin, forcing him to watch as LeRoi focuses a giant burning glass on the fair's main pavilion, before LeRoi throws Tolliver over the side to his death. Bruce is desperate to act, when Alfred arrives with his costume. With the police fully occupied, Julie runs into the burning pavilion to rescue a small girl, but both of them are trapped by falling debris. Batman saves them, then seizes a glider from one of the exhibitions and takes off after LeRoi's airship.

Set in the 1920s during China's Warlord Era, The Wooden Man's Bride is a romance film between two unlikely people from different classes. A young woman, known only as "Young Mistress" (Wang Lan), is on her way to meet her future husband for the first time when her procession is attacked by sword-wielding bandits in the desert. A servant, Kui (Chang Shih) recklessly takes off after the bandits who have kidnapped the young mistress and taken her back to their lair. When he arrives, Kui impresses the chief of the bandits (Kao Mingjun), who allows Kui to take the Young Mistress back.

As Sasha is removed from the apartment, Chuck attempts to convince Vogel that they have a common enemy in the Turners when they return, gun in hand, to stop Vogel. Meanwhile, Casey and Morgan arrive in the courtyard to find Sasha's handler had been disabled by the Turners, and come face to face with the tiger. Morgan offers himself up as a distraction, and when Sasha roars as she takes off after him, Vogel is distracted long enough for Chuck to flash and he and Sarah disable him and his men. With the threat eliminated, the Turners surrender.

After Nate and Sully return from Ubar, Elena is shown by Nate that he has started wearing his wedding ring again after Sully had kept it safe for him and they resume their relationship, leaving together on Sully's new plane.

The dog, after running quite a while, jumps into a pond to break up the fleas. As he sinks, it is found that Fifi doesn't know how to swim, and once the dog sinks below the surface, Fifi struggles and cries for help. Francois arrives in time and runs into the water to save her, but once he gets her back to dry land, he starts to walk away sadly, feeling even that wasn't enough to win her over...but it was.

Thanks to a tip-off from Dibble, T.C. finds out that Benny has been taken to the pound, so they take the limousine there and break Benny out. Just as they escape, though, the dogcatcher takes off after them in hot pursuit. As it turns out, the missing Amy (whose character is a parody of Little Orphan Annie) has been working at a car wash as part of Snerdly's evil plot. While on the run from the dogcatcher, T.C. and the gang turn up in the car wash and recognize Amy from a portrait hanging in the mansion, so they decide to bring her back to the mansion so that the inheritance can be rightfully given to her.

George is brooding over his mistake when he notices the ostrich pull a string that allows a cage door to open and a baby bear to escape. Seeing this, he grabs the bugle (which wasn't taken from him), blows a warning fanfare, then hops on his bike and takes off after the bear. At first the workers and the director thought he was misbehaving again, until they saw the empty bear cage. By the time he catches up to the bear, it had climbed a tree, but was now hanging precariously on a branch (saying that little bears can climb up a tree easily, but getting down is much harder) scared while other workers (who chased the bear ahead of George) were standing there hoping to catch it.

Lumiya and Nelani's battle ends, and Jacen, stunned by this revelation, peers into the future, and realizes that if he doesn't kill Nelani, each future ends with Luke dying by Jacen's hand. Devastated, Jacen takes off after Nelani when she realizes his intent, and stabs her through the chest with his lightsaber in the midst of combat. When he returns to Lumiya, Jacen wipes Ben's solid memories of his experiences in the Home, and tells Lumiya that he will accept her Sith teachings in order to save the galaxy from spiraling out of control from the upcoming war between the Galactic Alliance and Corellia. The novel ends on Coruscant, where, as Luke senses that the presence of the dark man he sensed at the beginning of the novel is real now, Mara informs Luke that Jacen and Ben are returning home.

Back at the loft, David, Mary Margaret, Killian and Elsa ponder their next plan by planning another search, when Henry arrives and tells them he found her, but failed to help her regain control of her magic.
