They compare notes and conclude that Bethel must have pushed Oaks out of the medical helicopter, witnessed by Benny Quintero. When Quintero headed for California after the war and presumably tried to blackmail Bethel, Bethel killed him and set Mickey up to take the rap.

In "Bad Boys", he had Olinsky exonerated for his arrest last season. In "Descent", he finds out that Antonio was addicted to painkillers when he witnessed him buying pills from a drug dealer. And at the end, after capturing the person responsible for kidnapping Antonio's daughter, he and Ruzek let Antonio beat him and things went sideways when he pushes him out of the window to his death. In "Brotherhood", before other officers respond to the scene, he tells Antonio to go and tell Ruzek to let him take the rap but it didn't fall into play when Ruzek offered to take the blame.

A gangster, Joe Farrow, kills a man after a game of craps, then offers gambler Marc Fury a payment of $50,000 if he will take the rap and stand trial. Farrow tries to renege on the money, so Fury steals a ledger with information that could put Farrow behind bars. Fury manages to be acquitted in court, but immigration officers arrest him and take to Ellis Island and threaten to deport him, proving that neither he nor his parents never become naturalized citizens. Fury slips the ledger into the possession of an immigration social worker, Lynn Warren, then later tracks her down, retrieves the book and tries to begin a romance.

Neither Brad nor Den is willing to take the blame, and both are then involved in a personal war to persuade the other to take the rap. Brad immediately calls on the services of Rod Norman (Christopher McHallem), via threats, and forces him to give the police a tip off about Den. The police begin questioning Den and realising that he has gotten in way over his head, he decides that he will accept the blame for the arson, but instead of serving time in prison, he decides to flee the country to avoid arrest. The Firm agree to this and Den is taken into hiding.

The memory stirred up buried emotions in Ricky, and as he burst into tears Phil embraced him. As dawn began to break Phil tried to coerce Ricky home by offering him partnership in The Arches. He also promised to take the rap for the dodgy motor that Ricky was driving and to sort out his nemesis Dan Sullivan (Craig Fairbrass) for him.

During that time, Eric Slaughter took over the criminal organization at the docks where he had his minion Floyd kill a dock worker.Daredevil #109 Agent Purcell of a rogue task force had found Big Ben Donovan in his prison and forced him to take the rap for the dock worker's murder and be sentenced to death or else they will harm Little Ben Donovan.

In this season, his irresponsible, headstrong, but lovable brother again entices Tim into another wrong choice by convincing Tim that the only way they can make any money is by transforming their newly opened garage into a chop shop. Just as they finally end this side business and Tim has enough for the down payment on a large amount of land he's been dreaming about, the police show up to arrest him at the garage. The police officers recognize Tim as "number 33" giving Tim no chance to deny that it's his chop shop. True to his character, he makes the decision to take the rap and allows his brother to be with his new wife and child.

As the film opens, a child pornography shoot is disrupted when its young star Michelle (Cheshire) refuses to perform. The man who recruited her, pedophile Howard "Howie" Nichols (Masur), attempts to reason with director Dennis (Hayward), claiming he "just needs a few days" (in order for Michelle to have an abortion, as Howard had gotten her pregnant). However, Dennis has already made up his mind to dump Michelle and gives Howard an ultimatum: find a more cooperative young "star" or he'll blow the whistle on the operation and disappear, leaving Howard to take the rap. Faced with this threat, Howard agrees to begin searching for a new girl to take Michelle's place.

At 1:40 pm MacArthur ordered General Perry Miles to assemble troops on the Ellipse immediately south of the White House. Within the hour the 3rd Cavalry led by Patton, then a Major, crossed the Memorial Bridge, with the 12th Infantry arriving by steamer about an hour later. At 4 pm Miles told MacArthur that the troops were ready, and MacArthur (like Eisenhower, by now in service uniform), said that Hoover wanted him "on hand" to "take the rap if ..." Although the troops were ready, Hoover twice sent instructions to MacArthur not to cross the Anacostia bridge that night, both of which were ignored. Shortly after 9 pm, MacArthur ordered Miles to cross the bridge and evict the Bonus Army from its encampment. At 4:45 pm.

Rod remains in Walford, as does Mary's father, who employs Rod as his bookkeeper and organiser of his haulage company and later Rod takes over Barry Clark's (Gary Hailes) market stall. Rod is later forced to act against his principles, when he is threatened by Brad Williams (Jonathan Stratt), a dodgy member of The Firm, and is forced to stitch up local publican Den Watts (Leslie Grantham). The Firm want Den to take the rap for the torching of The Dagmar, so they coerce Rod into providing a false testimony to the police, which implicates Den. Den flees Walford and manages to escape arrest but when The Firm decide they wanted Den dead, Rod is later forced to coerce his whereabouts from Den's best friend Pete Beale (Peter Dean), which leads to his arrest and a spell in prison.

The village was evacuated, and the soldiers detailed to guard the UFO decided to have a look inside... The soldiers went their separate ways after the war; Lassiter died in Europe and Spinney vanished after suffering a nervous breakdown, but in 1955, Sergeant Henderson finally tracks down the third man, Watson. He demands that Watson hand over the glass-disc "souvenir" he took from the wreck, and when Watson refuses, the shadow of an imp emerges from Henderson's own shadow and kills Watson... Over fifty years after the war, Turelhampton remains off-limits, and Conspiracy Channel reporter Claire Aldwych takes her cameraman Simon through the cordon to film footage for a documentary. When they reach the bomb crater, they see that something's still down there, but before they can investigate further they are spotted by a patrol. Claire flees with the video, leaving Simon to take the rap in the belief that he'll just be shouted at for a while and then released.
