At the launch of the service at tech event Kingston Beta, Chief Marketing Officer Paul Thompson announced that OG.NR's advisory board included Harvard Professor Charles Nesson and Jamaican entertainment entrepreneur Kamal Bankay. The full board of advisors includes Prof. Charles Nesson, Founder of the Berkman Center for Internet & Society, Dr. Tolu Bewaji, an International Business and Strategy lecturer at the Mona School of Business and Management, Accountant and Auditor Georgia Scott of KPMG Cayman, Celene Tyson, a Systems Analyst at World Bank and Kamal Bankay of CMA. At launch the team also announced that they were raising a US$300,000 investment for operational and technological development of the service.

After graduating from West Point in 1955, his assignments included four years as a flight instructor and military training officer with the Air Training Command, three years as a nuclear systems analyst with the Air Force Systems Command, and one year as a fighter pilot with Tactical Air Command, including three months of combat weapons training. A barycentric 3-simplex (a tetrahedron), that can be swivelled on the computer screen using a mouse, has been found useful for visualizing packet network performance data.

Nathan Amanquah (born 1973) is an engineer, a Web developer and educator who is currently the acting dean of engineering at Ashesi University. He was the acting dean of academic affairs at Ashesi University in 2010 when he filled in for Nana Araba Apt in her absence. Before he joined Ashesi University as an assistant professor in 2004, he worked as a systems analyst at The Bulk Oil Storage and Transportation Company Limited (BOST) Ghana, a communications engineer at SSB Bank, Ghana, and electronics instructor at Accra Polytechnic. Amanquah has contributed massively to the design and development of the computer science and engineering programs at Ashesi University.

In 1967, Cain graduated from Morehouse College with a Bachelor of Science in mathematics.Green, Joshua Herman Cain, the GOP Wild Card, The Atlantic In 1971, he received a Master of Science in computer science from Purdue University, while working full-time as a ballistics analyst for the U.S. Department of the Navy as a civilian. After completing his master's degree from Purdue, Cain left the Department of the Navy and began working for Coca-Cola in Atlanta as a computer systems analyst. In 1977, he moved to Minneapolis to join Pillsbury, becoming director of business analysis in its restaurant and foods group in 1978.

Near the end of the novel, it is revealed that he has no love towards his grandchildren. In the USA, an application analyst (also applications systems analyst) is someone whose job is to support a given application or applications. This may entail some computer programming, some system administration skills, and the ability to analyze a given problem, diagnose it and find its root cause, and then either solve it or pass the problem on to the relevant people if it does not lie within the application analyst's area of responsibility. Typically an application analyst will be responsible for supporting bespoke (i.e. custom) applications programmed with a variety of programming languages and using a variety of database systems, middleware systems and the like.

Leslie G. Osterman (born July 29, 1947) is a retired health systems analyst from Wichita, Kansas, who is a Republican member of the Kansas House of Representatives from District 97 in southwestern Wichita County. First elected on November 2, 2010, Osterman lost races for the same seat in 2000 and 2008, when he ran each time as a Democrat. Having switched parties, new Republican Osterman in 2010 unseated the veteran Democratic Representative Dale Swenson, 2,341 (53.8 percent) to 2,007 (46.2 percent). According to Osterman's website, Swenson supported an 18 percent increase in state taxes and a 10 percent hike in the Kansas state budget.

He developed new products and promotional campaigns for Pringles and Duncan Hines mixes. He then moved to Memorex where he helped develop the first high-performance cassette tapes, and with Ella Fitzgerald worked on the "Is It Live Or Is It Memorex" campaign before joining Pepsi, expanding Mountain Dew, launching 2L plastic bottles and back-lit vending machines, and working on the three-year Pepsi Challenge campaign for PepsiCo, beating Coke in market share for the first consistent time. At General Electric, he helped develop the Spacemaker range with its "We Bring Good Things to Life" campaign.

Jack Marshall (Hacker) is a freelance systems analyst from Raleigh, North Carolina. Fascinated with computers ever since he was a child, he grew up alongside the industry and eventually ended up working at Digitronix World Industries (DTX), a small company in Dallas, Texas. Maverick company president Donny Travis worked alongside Marshall to invent the Digitronix Desktop PC. The Digitronix PC's success and profits caused rapid growth in the company, and a new senior Vice President named Walter Sutcliffe denied Marshall any profit sharing from his invention, because said profit sharing was based on a handshake agreement between Marshall and Donny Travis. Sutcliffe was one of five middle managers Donny Travis brought in from CompuTech.

Quartermain was born in Toronto, Ontario and lived in a variety of locations in childhood before her family moved to Argenta, British Columbia. She graduated from high school in Argenta, and after working for several years, attended the University of British Columbia, where she met her future husband Peter Quartermain. She obtained a bachelor of arts in English literature in 1976, a Master of Arts in English language in 1978 and a bachelor of laws in 1989 from the University of British Columbia. During these years she taught English at UBC and the British Columbia Institute of Technology, worked as a computer systems analyst and freelanced as a journalist and technical writer.

Angela Bennett is a systems analyst in Venice, California who telecommutes to Cathedral Software in San Francisco. At work, she sat next to a 1950s UNIVAC I computer, watching the engineers operate it until one day, when all the engineers were sick, she jumped in to run the machine. She took computer programming at night school while continuing to work and learn the job. She was appointed as a computer systems analyst at the Naval Ship Engineering Center, and later served as the program director for the Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) Integrated Design, Manufacturing, and Maintenance Program, the division head for the Computer- Aided Design and Computer-Aided Manufacturing (CAD/CAM) Program, and deputy program manager of the Navy's Information Systems Improvement Program.

On 6 June 2013, Britain's The Guardian newspaper began publishing a series of revelations by an unnamed American whistleblower, revealed several days later to be former CIA and NSA-contracted systems analyst Edward Snowden. Snowden gave a cache of internal documents in support of his claims to two journalists: Glenn Greenwald and Laura Poitras, Greenwald later estimated that the cache contains 15,000 – 20,000 documents, some very large and very detailed, and some very small. This was one of the largest news leaks in the modern history of the United States. In over two months of publications, it became clear that the NSA operates a complex web of spying programs which allow it to intercept internet and telephone conversations from over a billion users from dozens of countries around the world.

Wheeler was a member of the United States Military Academy class of 1966 which lost thirty of its members in the Vietnam War. After graduation from West Point, he was a fire control platoon leader at a MIM-14 Nike-Hercules base at Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, from 1966 to 1967. Magliveras graduated from the University of Florida with a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1961 and a master's degree in mathematics in 1963. According to a 2011 New Yorker article, in the early days of the project several NSA employees met with Diane S Roark, an NSA budget expert on the House Intelligence Committee. They aired their grievances about Trailblazer. In response, NSA director Michael Hayden sent out a memo saying that "individuals, in a session with our congressional overseers, took a position in direct opposition to one that we had corporately decided to follow ... Pournelle headed the Human Factors Laboratory at the Boeing Company, where his group did pioneering work on astronaut heat tolerance in extreme environments. His group also did experimental work that resulted in certification of the passenger oxygen system for the Boeing 707 airplane. He later worked as a Systems Analyst in a design and analysis group at Boeing, where he did strategic analysis of proposed new weapons systems. In 1964, Pournelle joined the Aerospace Corporation in San Bernardino, California where he was Editor of Project 75, a major study of all ballistic missile technology for the purpose of making recommendation to the US Air Force on investment in technologies required to build the missile force to be deployed in 1975. After Project 75 was completed Pournelle became manager of several advanced concept studies. At North American Rockwell’s Space Division, Pournelle was associate director of operations research, where he took part in the Apollo program and general operations."Deep Impact", JERRY POURNELLE, Dr. Dobb's Journal, October 1, 2005. He returned to Headquarters Marine Corps for a three-year tour serving in the Manpower Plans and Policy Division as Manpower Systems Analyst, then as Head, Enlisted Plans Section. While at Headquarters, he was promoted to lieutenant colonel in March 1978. From August 1978 to June 1979, Johnston was a student at the National War College, Washington, D.C., then assumed duties as the Aide-de-Camp to the Commandant of the Marine Corps (June 1979 to May 1981). He then assumed command of 2nd Battalion, 8th Marines at Camp Lejeune, North Carolina from July 1981 to February 1983, and commanded the 8th Marine Regiment from February 1983 to May 1984. He was promoted to colonel in May 1983 while at Camp Lejeune. He was assigned to Quantico in May 1984 to assume command of Officer Candidates School. While serving in this capacity, he was selected for promotion to brigadier general in December 1986. He was advanced to that grade on August 21, 1987, and assumed duty as the Assistant Division Commander, 3rd Marine Division in September 1987. He was assigned additional duty as the Commanding General, 9th Marine Amphibious Brigade in November 1987. On May 26, 1988, General Johnston was assigned as the Commanding General, Marine Corps Base, Camp S.D. Butler.
