As darkness falls, the crew is faced with the choice of breaking one of its cardinal rules, by spending its own money, a decision which splits the group in two, and causes the mild-mannered Molly to use an unexpected swear word. Additionally, the crew meets Mark's tentmate Normand, who seems to be in even worse shape than Mark, and who at the time is completely inebriated.

While Fox wanted to sign a contract, Guillotine refused as they did not want to give up the rights and the artistic freedom, for instance they would be censored from using the swear word קיבינימט and from mentioning that Piposh's father drowned in the Yarkon River. An album featuring music, interviews, and other content entitled At the Piposh Tavern was released by Guillotine and the Tag Group in 2004. A fourth game (excluding the spinoff) was to be released but this was eventually cancelled. Running until at least 2004, 'Piposh Congresses' have been held as national meeting for all the fans of Piposh and Guillotine.

The Boys in the Band is a 1970 American LGBT drama film directed by William Friedkin. The screenplay by Mart Crowley is based on his 1968 Off-Broadway play The Boys in the Band. It is among the first major American motion pictures to revolve around gay characters and is often cited as a milestone in the history of queer cinema, and is also thought to be the first mainstream American film to use the swear word "cunt". This too is very successful, apart from when Claire's concerns for Amy are illustrated when, on stage, she becomes star struck and, instead of singing, says a swear word.

The movie is set on the life of an unnamed protagonist who is called Gandu by most who address him in the movie (an Indian slang/swear word that would literally translate to 'of the ass', the English translation running in the subtitle translates it to the English 'Asshole'). Gandu is portrayed as a frustrated teenager whose state of mind is shown by intercuts of him rapping in Bengali (it is later revealed in the movie that he is also the member of a rap band). Our Lady of the Inferno is Fassel's first novel. It began life in 2007 as a book about the employees of a Times Square grindhouse in the 1970s that he stopped working on after six years because "it was really terrible" and, despite being 250,000 words, "nothing had happened in it yet." He then began developing the Nicolette character, but couldn't come up with an idea for a final girl to serve as her foil; he credits the invention of Ginny to a meeting with the Soska Sisters during his time writing for Rue Morgue magazine, during which Jen Soska told him that her favorite swear word is "kurva," meaning "whore." The idea of a woman whose last name was "Kurva" served as the impetus for creating the Ginny character.

Camba is a word historically used in Bolivia to refer to the indigenous population in the Eastern tropical region of the country, or to those born in the area of Santa Cruz, Beni, and Pando (the Eastern region of Bolivia). Nowadays, the term "Camba" is used predominately to refer eastern Bolivians population of Spanish mixed with some Chane and other Amazonian descent born in the eastern lowlands in and around Santa Cruz de la Sierra. Colla people, who are the population that lives in Western Bolivia, have always been in conflict with Camba people due to their different customs, behavior and appearance. Therefore, it may be common to hear Camba people use the term "Colla" as a swear word or to insult the Western population as such as it is possible to hear Collas curse on cambas.

The premiere of the play was at the Royal Court Theatre in London in the downstairs Jerwood Theatre. The staging involved live chickens, a live tortoise and goldfish, and several real trees surrounding an onstage caravan. It was directed by Ian Rickson and starred Mark Rylance as Johnny, Mackenzie Crook as Ginger, Alan David as the Professor, Tom Brooke as Lee, Danny Kirrane as Davey, Gerard Horan as Wesley and Barry Sloane as Troy Whitworth, Aimee- Ffion Edwards as Phaedra, Lucy Montgomery as Dawn and Dan Poole as Danny. "The Man Don't Give a Fuck" was issued as a single in December 1996, having originally been set for release as a B-side on Super Furry Animals' previous single "If You Don't Want Me to Destroy You". Steely Dan frontman Donald Fagen was upset that a sample of his band's track "Show Biz Kids" featured so prominently on "The Man Don't Give a Fuck", and refused Super Furry Animals' request to use it at the time. Eventually Fagen relented but demanded 95% of the track's proceeds, a situation which Rhys was happy with as he felt the song would never get played due to its frequent use of the swear word 'fuck'. Asked about the "perverse" decision to release a single containing the word 'fuck' 50 times by a journalist for X-Ray magazine in 2003, Rhys claimed that the band allowed themselves to be manipulated by former label Creation Records who came up with the idea.
