The CBeebies Land Hotel opened on 8 July 2017, the hotel has a total of 76 themed rooms: 42 standard rooms (themed to the CBeebies Bugbies) and 34 premium rooms themed to different CBeebies shows, such as Something Special and Swashbuckle. Later in December Heaven Shall Burn embarked the Darkness Over X-Mas Tour with support of Dark Tranquillity, Swashbuckle, and Deadlock. The third part of the Iconoclast trilogy Invictus (Iconoclast III) was released in May 2010 and became the band's and Century Media's first release to enter the top ten of the German Album Charts, entering at #9. To further promote Invictus Heaven Shall Burn embarked a co-headlining tour with As I Lay Dying through Europe, in November 2010, with support of Suicide Silence and Dew-Scented. In May 2011, Heaven Shall Burn toured across South America, again with As I Lay Dying.

On March 9, 2010, the band released its first full-length album, Over the Top. The band toured North America with Korpiklaani, Týr, and Swashbuckle in January 2010. The North American tour was followed by a short UK tour with Edguy in March 2010, which began at Hammerfest II. White Wizzard had its live debut with its third line-up - featuring Michael Gremio and Lewis Stephens - at the famous Download Festival in June of that same year, opening the Ronnie James Dio stage on Sunday. In March 2010, White Wizzard was nominated for Best New Artist in the Metal Hammer Golden Gods Awards 2010. On October 5, 2010, Earache Records presented the band's new single, Shooting Star, on YouTube.

Wantum Vandal, the Sheik of Selfishness, Commadore Phineas P. Fibber, I.M. Sloppy, Peter D. Cheater, Mr. Waste, Hilarious P. Prankster, and the Greedy Genie, who act as their friends, hosts and/or guests, but embody some of the most common human faults and vices. Yogi and crew would often put up with them which ends with the villains either being repelled or outdone by their actions.

Swashbuckle was formed in early 2005 when bassist Patrick Henry and guitarist Justin Greczyn met each other at a Red Lobster and realized their mutual love for thrash metal and pirates. They decided to form a band and release a demo in early 2005, then after they had found drummer Mike Soganic and guitarist Joe Potash, they released the Yo Ho Demo later that year. The band members then took up the stage names of Admiral Nobeard (Henry), Commodore Redrum (Greczyn), Captain Crashride (Soganic), and Rowin' Joe Po (Potash). Their debut album Crewed by the Damned was released independently in 2006, and shortly after Rowin' Joe Po (Joe Potash) quit the group.

In 2009, David-Caine set up his own comedy group, Four Screws Loose, along with Joseph Elliott, Conan House and Thom Ford. The group performed five shows in successive years at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe, as well as performing at Bestival, Latitude Festival, Underbelly Southbank Festival, Brighton Fringe and Adelaide Fringe Festival. They were selected as New Act of the Year (NATYS: New Acts of the Year Show) finalists 2013 and featured on BBC Radio 4’s Sketchorama and BBC Radio 1’s Fun and Filth Cabaret. The group’s style revolved around high energy routines, physical comedy and audience interaction and garnered m> David-Caine’s first lead TV role came when he was cast as one half of the comedy double act Cook and Line on CBeebies’ new pirate gameshow, Swashbuckle. The show proved popular and lead to other appearances on the channel including A Midsummer Night’s Dream, The Tempest (RSC co-productions) and the annual Christmas shows.
