In 2016, Kubart won the Grammy Award for Best Children's Album for his album Home. Kubart was the host of Sprout's Sunny Side Up, which in 2015 enjoyed a guest appearance from Michelle Obama. He is also known as the energetic Tambourine Guy, a long running cast member of Scott Bradlee's Postmodern Jukebox. In May 2018, Kubart released a children's book titled Oopsie-Do, illustrated by Lori Richmond.

The Pop Ups (Jason Rabinowitz and Jacob Stein) are a GRAMMY nominated children’s musical duo based in Brooklyn, New York. Making their national TV debut on Sprout’s “Sunny Side Up Show” in April 2014, the duo released their third album “Appetite For Construction” to critical acclaim in August 2014. The Pop Ups perform regularly around New York City venues using cardboard props, hand-painted sets and a cast of original puppets. They also have toured nationally, including a tour with Yo Gabba Gabba! Live. A leading band in the kids music genre, the Wall Street Journal says the music “reflects the creativity percolating on the independent children's music scene,” and Time Out New York Kids recognizes them as one of the top 15 kids’ music bands in the nation.

In August 2012 Clapton's first studio album in eight years, Harlequin Nights, was issued on his own label and distributed by MGM. The band released their first single in June 2009, a double A-side with the tracks "Bad Boyfriend" and "Those Girls." According to the German manga journal MangasZene, Aishiteruze Baby is drawn in a style typical of shōjo manga, with non-uniform panel layouts and frequent use of screentones. The reviewer praised the clean use of backgrounds, well- differentiated character designs, and Maki's handling of delicate issues such as the rival, Miki, and parental abandonment, while still keeping a comic tone. The same article described anime adaption as one of the shōjo anime highlights of 2004. The reviewer criticized the art of the anime adaptation as not as successful as the manga, being done in a simpler style, but praised the Japanese voice actors as well as mood-setting of the opening song, "Sunny Side Up." A reviewer at T.H.E.M. Anime Reviews praised the anime as "a touching and heartfelt shōjo drama," giving it 5 out of 5 stars.

As of March 2010 the album has sold over 175,000 copies in the US. "I'm Trying", co-written by Tia Sillers and Darrell Scott, was originally recorded by Kevin Sharp on his 1998 album Love Is, and later by Diamond Rio (as a collaboration with Chely Wright) on their 2001 album One More Day. As with her last studio album, 2007's Waking Up Laughing, McBride has a co-writer's credit: the track "Sunny Side Up", which she co-wrote with Brad and Brett Warren, also known as The Warren Brothers. The Warren Brothers also co-wrote the lead-off track "Wrong Baby Wrong Baby Wrong" with Robert Ellis Orrall and Stephen Barker Liles, the latter of whom is a member of the band Love and Theft. Although McBride was not involved with the writing of "Wrong Baby Wrong", she helped with the idea, being that the song was originally written in a man's point of view talking to his girlfriend.

Hirshman had already been experimenting with his constructions. His first major piece was in 1935, a biting caricature of the rich business magnate, John D. News items and editorials from the ‘Sun’ are frequently reprinted or referred to in the international media, including The Washington Post, CNN, PBS, BBC, and the British Daily Telegraph. Also, Caribbean newspapers such as St. Croix Avis, and the Voice of St. Lucia, along with scores of other travel magazines and publications carry reports from the ‘Island Sun’.

After his lawyers tried multiple appeals for the death sentence to be commuted to life due to the fact that the time he had spent waiting on death row had made him insane; all of which were denied, the State of Arizona administered a lethal injection to Michael Poland on June 16, 1999. He requested, for his last meal: three fried eggs sunny side up; four slices of bacon, an order of hash browns, two slices of whole wheat toast with two pats of real butter, two individual serving size boxes of Raisin Bran cereal, two cartons of milk, and two cups of Tasters Choice coffee. In the execution chamber, Michael raised his head several times to look at the window into the witness chamber as his death warrant was being read.
