The 30-minute series stars Garry Shandling as, more or less, himself: A neurotic, somewhat self-obsessed stand-up comedian who just happens to be aware he is a television sitcom character. Garry spends just as much time interacting with the studio audience as he does the regular cast members, offering up opening monologues and show-closing summations of the episode's events (much like George Burns on The George Burns and Gracie Allen Show). However, on Garry's show, all the supporting characters know they are on a TV show, not just Garry; and the studio audience is often in the storyline. At the time of the series' production, Shandling actually lived in Sherman Oaks, California, just like the character on the series.

After the verdict was read, juror Lionel Cryer gave Simpson a Raised fist black power salute. Robert Shapiro wrote in The Search for Justice: A Defense Attorney's Brief on the O.J. Simpson Case that Cochran introducing race into the trial is the primary factor that drove the dream team apart: "Race is not the issue...A defense built on race will never help us." Shapiro wrote that Cochran used race to argue for a Jury nullification in his summations, Bailey used it to argue that Fuhrman planted the glove, Scheck used it to argue his blood planting claims, and Dershowitz used it to support his police conspiracy allegation. Regarding Bailey, Scheck and Dershowitz's conspiracy claims, Shapiro wrote he doesn't believe that Simpson was framed by the police.

However, when the special ops team gases Matthew's classroom, they realize it's empty except for Angel. “So it turns out,” he says, “with this new deal and all, I own a helicopter.” As Fries’ trial heads into final summations, Gunn arrives in a nice suit and gets Keel to cede to him. Gunn moves for a mistrial and announces that the judge should remove herself from the case because according to the judge's tax records, she holds stock in a company owned by a company owned by Fries’.

Simple additive checksums as contained within the UDP and TCP transports have proven ineffective at detecting bus specific bit errors since these errors with simple summations tend to be self-canceling. Testing that led to the adoption of RFC 3309 simulated error injection against real data and demonstrated as much as 2% of these errors were not being detected. Larger frames are more likely to suffer undetected errors with the simple CRC32 error detection used in Ethernet frames--as packet size increases it becomes more likely that multiple errors cancel each other out. One IETF approach for adopting jumbo frames avoids data integrity reduction of the service data unit by performing an extra CRC at the next network protocol layer above Ethernet. SCTP transport (RFC 4960) and iSCSI (RFC 7143) use the Castagnoli CRC polynomial.

We will then be in a position to calculate the thermodynamic properties of the gas using the partition function or the grand partition function.

Fuhrman criticized Ito for allowing Cochran to say during summations that "he lied when he said he didn't plant the glove" despite Ito ruling "It is a theory without factual support." Prosecutor and DNA expert George "Woody" Clarke in Justice and Science: Trials and Triumphs of DNA Evidence criticized Ito because the only reason Gerdes contamination claim appeared convincing to the jury is because he allowed him to testify for six hours about contamination that occurred years ago in other cases instead of narrowing his testimony to only incidents in this case, of which there were none. Petrocelli opined in Triumph of Justice that "Ito had given the defense lawyers an astonishing amount of leeway...Ito did so because he believed, beyond any doubt...that Simpson would be found guilty so he gave the defense every break and benefit so that when the inevitable appeal was filed, the verdict would be bulletproof." Superior Court Judge Hiroshi Fujisaki presided over the wrongful death civil trial and was praised for his stewardship as compared to Ito's at the criminal trial.
