By the 19th century the current name was used. The estate saw a number of owners. Rutherford said that the band had gone as far as they could with their progressive and art rock direction that they had adopted since the early 1970s and wanted to write and record in a more relaxed approach as previously, the band were more driven to present what they had to offer. Banks considered the music, and overall sound of Genesis, something that the band had longed for many years prior, specifically its more aggressive edge.

Clyde is named for the River Clyde in Scotland and was thought to be a suitable name because a subdivision of land made in 1878 here was called New Glasgow. Rosehill Junction was the name of the railway station that opened here in 1882, just west of the bridge over the Duck River . It was a junction for the Western railway line with the Carlingford railway line and Sandown railway line. The Commissioner of Railways Edward Miller Grant Eddy renamed the station Clyde Junction,The Department of Railways Research and Information Section (1966) Railway Quiz (Department of Railways) p11 before settling upon the name Clyde in 1883 saying: New Glasgow is close by and as old Glasgow is watered by the Clyde, to which Duck River has been likened, perhaps Clyde would not be unacceptable.

On January 26, 1903, it became publicly known that Milton S. Hershey made the decision to build a chocolate factory on the farms to the south west of Derry Church and Spring Creek, Pennsylvania. Hershey acquired over 400 acres of land in his initial purchase, which also included water rights to Spring Creek. The land straddling along Spring Creek, and the land north to nearby Union Deposit, was not included with the initial purchases. Having control of the water rights to Spring Creek, Hershey gained control of Brecht's dam, which was to be "converted into a lake for boating and other purposes of recreation for the town and Mr. Hershey's employes [sic]." In mid-1904, Hershey offered a $100 prize to the person who suggested "the most suitable name" for the new town.

The Population Study of ChINese Elderly (PINE) Study is a collaborative effort between the Chinese Health, Aging, and Policy Program (CHAP) at Rutgers University, Northwestern University and several community services organizations, including Chinese American Service League, Midwest Asian Health Association (MAHA) and Xilin Asian Community Center as the main community partners. This synergistic academic-community partnership is led by XinQi Dong MD, MPH, at Rutgers University, Melissa A Simon, MD, MPH, Esther Wong, ACSW, Bernarda Wong, ACSW, and utilizes a community-based participatory research (CBPR) approach. The PINE Study is an extensive study that examines the general health and quality of life of Chinese elderly in the Chicago metropolitan area–the largest cohort of Chinese elderly ever assembled for epidemiological research in Western countries. The image and acronym "PINE" was used as a suitable name for the study as in Chinese culture, it symbolizes longevity, resilience, respect and successful aging, which is parallel to the research objectives.

He returned to Europe in 1815 appointed overall commander of the Anglo-Allied forces of the Seventh Coalition, better known as the Hundred Days, following Napoleon's escape from exile and attempt to retain power.

Prior to its fifth edition release, XML 1.0 differed from XML 1.1 in having stricter requirements for characters available for use in element and attribute names and unique identifiers: in the first four editions of XML 1.0 the characters were exclusively enumerated using a specific version of the Unicode standard (Unicode 2.0 to Unicode 3.2.) The fifth edition substitutes the mechanism of XML 1.1, which is more future-proof but reduces redundancy. The approach taken in the fifth edition of XML 1.0 and in all editions of XML 1.1 is that only certain characters are forbidden in names, and everything else is allowed to accommodate suitable name characters in future Unicode versions. In the fifth edition, XML names may contain characters in the Balinese, Cham, or Phoenician scripts among many others added to Unicode since Unicode 3.2. Almost any Unicode code point can be used in the character data and attribute values of an XML 1.0 or 1.1 document, even if the character corresponding to the code point is not defined in the current version of Unicode.
