The Ace of Clubs Undead who shoots webbing from his mouth to ensnare his victims to suck out their lifeforce, the was an accomplice of Isaka who allowed himself to be sealed while using his golden spiders to select Mutsuki Kamijō as the Leangle system's user. Revealed to be partially sealed, the Spider Undead is able to possess Mutsuki and corrupt his mind, using the human to become more powerful throughout the Battle Fight until he no longer needs a human host. Spider is eventually forced out in physical when Mutsuki attempted to assume King form, his will overridden by Noboru Shima. The Spider Undead was properly resealed by Mutsuki with the King Rouser soon after.

The true form has an obese, reddish body with large, pupil-less eyes, small beaks, 'hands' that resemble small pincers and tentacles; clawed feet, and thick tails. They also have long, drill-like tongues, drawn to be similar to that of the cone shell mollusk, that they use to suck out the brains of their victims, allowing them to gain their memories. All Wraiths can copy the appearance of other beings without consuming their brains or killing them.

Leela forces the crew to follow a strict diet of all-organic food after growing distrustful of the quality of fast food. Upon learning that this new diet includes fertile eggs, Fry decides to nurture one of the eggs until it hatches into a small blue creature with acidic saliva who Fry names Mr. Peppy. Lost Planet 2 received "mixed or average reviews" on all platforms according to the review aggregation website Metacritic. GamePro said of the Xbox 360 version that "Lost Planet 2 features an enjoyable multiplayer component and interesting monster designs, but it isn't enough to overcome its many faults. The wraiths arrive at night and due to a colonist panicking, they begin attacking them.

Thus in Mexico City in 1961, the promised comet returns, carrying with it Baron Vitelius, who takes advantage of his considerable abilities as a sorcerer to carry out his threat: he is able to change at will into the hairy monster of the title in order to suck out the brains of his victims with a long forked tongue; furthermore, he has strong hypnotic capabilities and is able to render his enemies motionless or force them to act against their wills.

When Raiga attempts to destroy the bulb, Eyrith manifests a nude demonic version of her human form to fight him. One version of the story describes the giant with mouths all over his body. According to another version, the brothers lured Baxbaxwalanuksiwe into a pit and threw hot stones on top of him until he died, his ashes turned into thousands of mosquitos.
