However, all these languages are in danger of being lost as the children in the tribes learn Malay and English.

Located approximately southwest of Phillipsburg, Montana, the Meyers Fire is a natural fire that was caused by lightning. As of September 28, 2017, it encompassed . The Meyers Fire originated after a lightning storm passed over the region, starting a fire in remote terrain in Granite County, Montana within Beaverhead-Deerlodge National Forest.

The pilot made two mayday calls before the aircraft clipped the roof of a building housing the Essendon Direct Factory Outlets (DFO). The aircraft then impacted the ground a few metres away and ignited, starting a fire. The Direct Factory Outlets complex, located on the airport grounds, had not yet begun the day's trading. All five people on board were killed in the crash, including the four passengers who were American tourists on their way to King Island to play golf.

The renovated Joelma Building in 2008 Edifício Praça da Bandeira, better known by its former name, Joelma Building, is a 25-story building in downtown São Paulo, Brazil, completed in 1971, located at Avenida 9 de Julho, 225. On 1 February 1974, an air conditioning unit on the twelfth floor overheated, starting a fire. There were 756 people in the building at the time. Because flammable materials had been used to furnish the interior, the entire building was engulfed in flames within 20 minutes.

The explosion startles the chief's daughter which causes her to fall backwards and knock her head on the bed, unconscious.

David arrives with a hacksaw and begins to work on the chains tying Cassie to the bed. Georgina accepts that he is Marlena's new husband and that it would be best for them to leave. Roy arrives and tells Georgina that Marlena and Donna are dead and that they died when Georgina gave them lethal overdoses of sleeping tablets in milk to prevent them going to the police. Roy gets into a fight with Cassie and David and throws the hurricane lamp at the wall starting a fire.

On 9 November 1914, SMS Emden opened fire at with her starboard guns, knocking out Sydney's range finder. Emden continued to score hits, knocking out a gun and starting a fire before Sydney managed to find Emden's range and hit the German cruiser over 100 times in 30 minutes. The captain of HMAS Sydney I chose to run the Emden aground before it sank on North Keeling, an isolated island in the Cocos Keeling group. With this action the Royal Australian Navy had won its first ship-to-ship battle.

One night at Camp Blackfoot, several campers pull a prank on the caretaker named Cropsy by setting a worm-riddled skull with candles in the eye sockets, next to his bed. When the caretaker is awoken by the campers banging on his window, he gets frightened by the skull and accidentally knocks it onto his bed, starting a fire. Live Free or Die Hard (released as Die Hard 4.0 outside North America) is a 2007 American action-thriller film and the fourth installment in the Die Hard film series. The 16-station Way of the Cross was the work of Goetzla from Kranj. An organ was purchased from Kropa manufacturer Ignac Zupan, but was - due to poor quality - replaced in 1893 by a Gorščič organ, still there today. In 1875, the Koroška Bela parish was established, as a suffragan of Jesenice parish; St. Ingenuin and St. Albuin's became the parish church. Amid the effort to equip it properly, however, the church was struck by another calamity: on June 2, 1875, the building was struck by lightning, killing the priest Valentin Plemlj and starting a fire which destroyed the bell tower and roof.

Some time before the creation of International Rescue, the Hood (voiced by Ray Barrett) is spying on a nuclear-powered irrigation plant in an Australian desert when he is discovered and challenged by a security guard. A gunfight ensues and one of the Hood's bullets hits a gas cylinder, starting a fire that quickly consumes the facility. Unable to shut down the atomic reactor, Controller Wade and his staff are airlifted to safety before the plant is destroyed in a nuclear explosion. The resulting radioactive cloud seems poised to engulf Melbourne but is dispersed by high winds.

He told United States Coast Guard investigators that a squall had brought down the Bluebelles masts, holing the ship's hull, rupturing the auxiliary gas tank, and starting a fire.

Gabe Ryan (Frankie Thomas) is released from reform school and is taken to a new house by his sister Joy (Ann Sheridan) to start a new life where no one knows of his past. However, Gabe immediately joins a local gang, the Beale Street Termites, where he meets up with William Kroner (Bernard Nedell), a local gangster. Z37 fired six torpedoes against the British cruisers, all of which missed. On 30 January 1944, Z37 was carrying out exercises in the south of the Bay of Biscay with Z23 and Z32 when she collided with Z32. One of Z37s torpedoes exploded, starting a fire which set off some of her anti- aircraft ammunition and caused extensive flooding. She was towed back to Bordeaux, but the damage was considered too severe for repair, and her guns were removed to strengthen the shore defences of the Gironde estuary, with her crew being deployed as ground troops.

Pocket lint (also known as gnurr) is debris including bits of fabric as well as small shreds of paper and tissue that are often found in pockets. It may be caused by running the clothing through a washing machine one or more times, causing the pocket lining or contents to compact and shred. As pocket lint is an amalgamation of the contents of the pockets, pocket lint can be helpful when determining whether drugs have been previously stored in the pockets, by testing it with various drug tests. In a survival situation, pocket lint can be used as tinder for starting a fire.

Stuart (Jason May) is in his mid-thirties and is the manager of a highly successful sales company. Unknown to his colleagues and indeed his employers, is that Stuart has previous criminal convictions for horse buggery and a penchant for wearing his dead mother's lingerie. Although the hotel was supposed to be fireproof, synthetic carpeting, vinyl wall covering, painted doors and frames and open stairways fueled the spread of the fire, especially given that there were no sprinklers or smoke detectors. Sara puts their plan into motion by starting a fire, Rona pretends to be injured in order to distract a guard so that Kengkay could steal the key, and Nancy tampers with the circuit breaker in order for power to be shut down throughout the prison.

The engine lost thrust and unburned RP-1 spilled down into the hot thrust chamber, igniting and starting a fire around the base of the missile. With the Thor engulfed in flames, the Range Safety Officer sent the destruct command, which split the rocket and ruptured both fuel tanks, completely destroying the missile and badly damaging the launch pad.

At 6:45 pm the following day, Swale rescued eight survivors from a PBY Catalina, but within an hour the two ships were again attacked by Condors returning from a reconnaissance mission. Despite the intervention of two United States Navy Catalinas sent to their aid, a bomb hit Port Fairy on her starboard quarter, starting a fire next to the magazine and disabling her steering. Aircraft factory worker Barry Kane (Robert Cummings) is accused of starting a fire at the Stewart Aircraft Works in Glendale, California, an act of sabotage that killed his friend Mason (Virgil Summers). The Genoa-Sestri Levante section of Highway A12 in Italy was closed, due to the flooding, and air and rail traffic in the region were suspended. The road between Recco and Camogli was also flooded. On November 5, lightning struck the roof of a house in Camogli, starting a fire that was quickly put out by firefighters. The storm also caused multiple small landslides and downed numerous trees in Liguria. Flooding from Rolf also led to traffic obstructions by November 6 in Piedmont and Tigullio, in the Province of Savona, after severe thunderstorms dumped large amounts of rainfall on the night of November 5–6.

A common type of short circuit occurs when the positive and negative terminals of a battery are connected with a low-resistance conductor, like a wire. After the law is passed, Diane "Die" Després, a widowed mother and 46-year-old journalist, picks up her son Steve, who has ADHD with violent tendencies, from an institution, in the aftermath of Steve starting a fire in which another youth was injured. Die brings Steve to their new home in Saint-Hubert and struggles to care for him under financial distress. When Steve gives her a cart full of groceries and a necklace reading "Mommy", Die suspects that he has stolen the latter.

Gunners aboard Venomous, seeing that Venetia was in danger of being sunk, realized that the Germans had captured Fort de la Crèche on a hill overlooking the entrance and were using its coastal artillery to fire on Venetia. Venomous opened fire on the fort; her first salvo went over it, but her second salvo blew off one side of the fort and much of the hillside it was on, causing artillery pieces to roll down the hill and silencing the fort.

She then tied and gagged them both before turning on the gas on the cooker in the flat, before moving downstairs and starting a fire in the shop itself. They were rescued by Ciaran McCarthy (Keith Duffy) and Charlie Stubbs (Bill Ward) as the building sensationally exploded in a large ball of flame which led to the panic stricken Websters evacuating their house next door and all the residents of Coronation Street rushing outside to a scene of utter devastation. With her first attempt to kill her former fiancé and his lover thwarted, in desperation she tried to run down the couple in front of virtually all the Street residents but missed and crashed into the viaduct. While attempting a second try her MG was shunted by a refuse truck and forced into a small business on Viaduct Street leading to her being seriously injured.

Kerry's storylines have included trying to repair her relationship with daughter Amy (Chelsea Halfpenny), her struggle with diabetes, a relationship with Andy Sugden (Kelvin Fletcher), accidentally starting a fire at Andy's house and almost killing herself and his children, faking a pregnancy after discovering that Andy and Amy are in a relationship, being run over by Adam Barton (Adam Thomas), trying to help Brenda Walker (Lesley Dunlop) overcome her addiction of shoplifting, a relationship with Dan Spencer (Liam Fox), faking a terminal illness in order to get a free wedding to Dan and being uncovered as a bigamist on her wedding day to Dan. While on a night out, Kerry sees her boyfriend, Chris Fletcher (Michael Taylor), kissing Amy. Kerry breaks them up and smacks Amy before hitting Chris with her handbag and Amy realises that Kerry is her mother. After Kerry is thrown out of the club, Amy reveals that she is her daughter.

At about 20:00, the convoy manoeuvred from four to two columns to pass through the Skerki Channel, the starboard column with Kenya in the lead and Manchester sixth back, the port column with Nigeria leading and Carlisle in the centre, ten destroyers sailing outside the columns. The court of appeals, however, considered it proven that the four "had mutually agreed to ruin the party by starting a fire", and that it was of "decisive importance with regards to the question of guilt that it had not been possible to prove that no other person or persons than Kaveh had torn the paper or started the fire in the stairway." Professor Christian Diesen is of the opinion that it is possible that Mohammadyeh had "become involved in a sequence of events he had no control over and would have been judged differently if the fire had not had such devastating consequences." An AC-130H Spectre, Nail 22, flew a reconnaissance mission over the peak prior to the landing and saw no enemy activity, but it was called away to support other troops before Razor 03 and 04 arrived at the landing zone; MAKO 30 team leader was uneasy at the speed with which the sweep was conducted and wondered whether they had the right mountain but he dismissed his doubts and trusted the Spectre's technology. At around 0245 hours, as Razor 03 flared to land at the LZ and was immediately fired upon by machinegun and RPGs, an RPG struck just behind the cockpit, starting a fire in the cabin.
