Skulker hunts down rare and unusual ghosts and has vowed to hunt down Danny for his rare half ghost status. He uses raw power and weaponry, but understands the way of the hunt, so he is able to utilize his brain to take advantage of his situation as predator to one-up his prey. Having a sense of loyalty, he often works for Vlad Plasimus and occasionally serves as a "leader" and spokesperson for the ghosts.

The title was apparently inspired by the band being rejected for a gig as a house band at a resort in Tahiti because they were "too fat". Too Fat for Tahiti spawned the tracks "Naughty" and "Hëj" that received considerable support from the national youth radio station Triple J and both were voted into the network's annual listeners' poll, The Hottest 100, at number 50 and 80 respectively. The album was subsequently nominated for Best Independent Album at the ARIA Awards and Skulker was nominated for Best New Live Act at the Australian Music Awards. Skulker then toured Australia exhaustively before recording a new album The Double Life that was released in early 2003.

Ember is known for teaming up with other ghosts to show off her divine ghost powers. In the series, she has teamed up with Kitty, Penelope Spectra and Youngblood on several occasions, usually attacking authority in society. In the episode "Girls' Night Out" she is shown to be dating Skulker.

The pale-footed bush warbler is extremely shy and is a great skulker, meaning it is very difficult to see even during the breeding season. This species breeds from May to July. The bird is usually found either by itself or in pairs in low bushes and grass clumps. It is also known as lowland species.

The call of the male during breeding is a lark-like and repeated trill that is accompanied by fanned tail and a fluttering flight. Other calls include a chack and a zink note. One running gag in the show is that since he has Tucker's PDA in his armor, while he has more power, he gets interrupted a few times into doing research on the purple back gorilla, much to his frustration. In an alternate timeline in "The Ultimate Enemy" he had combined with Technus to become "Skulktech 9.9", with Technus serving as Skulker's operating system.

Early 2004 also found the band opening for Pink in Sydney and Newcastle and toured nationally supporting The Superjesus. At this point Batti decided to depart the band and moved to Canada to pursue other interests. Following the replacement of Batti with new guitarist Gregory Boulting, Skulker toured the east coast of Australia and recorded extensive demos of new material that have never been released. The band members have since decided to go their own ways and pursue further interests.

The brown-cheeked fulvetta (Alcippe poioicephala) (or brown-cheeked alcippe as the fulvettas proper are not closely related to this bird), is included in the family Alcippeidae. It was earlier also known as the quaker babbler. A rare and skulker subspecies from northeast India 'Alcippe poioicephala fusca' from Pungro village in Nagaland, India. This species is one of those retained in the genus Alcippe after the true fulvettas and some others were removed; the group had turned out to unite quite unrelated birds.

Thomas Thompson, who had been master of Despatch, had written an initially anonymous letter charging Hawkins with having willfully murdered a seaman, William Davie. Davie had been ill and Thompson charged that Hawkins's negligence and inattention between 9 and 25 December 1805 had brought about Davie's death. Hawkins advanced evidence that Davie was a skulker and under a surgeon's treatment for venereal disease, while also resorting to quack medicines. The group's original members met at Cheltenham Girls High School in northern Sydney in 1994 and decided to form a band. They had been pitched as Australia's premier all-female band. The original line-up consisted of Greer Skinner on lead vocals and guitar, Annette Harada on bass guitar, Naomi "Batti" Battah on guitar and occasional lead vocals and drummer Angela Blackshaw. After an initial period establishing itself on the Sydney live circuit the band came to the attention of independent label Chatterbox Records and in 2000 Skulker released the album Too Fat for Tahiti.

In 1994, St. Patrick moved to Los Angeles to begin his acting career. In Los Angeles, he first worked as a personal trainer then in 1996 joined the West Coast Theater Ensemble. Prior to being cast in 2001 as Keith Charles in the HBO series, Six Feet Under, St. Patrick was cast as Detective Marcus Taggert on General Hospital (1997) and as Adrian Sword on All My Children (1998–2000). He was the first voice of Skulker (2004) on Danny Phantom and starred as the principal detective in the Fox fall drama series, Reunion (2005).

Red Jezebel has played many shows since its formation in 1997, and has supported some of pop and rock's biggest names, including Art of Fighting, Bluebottle Kiss, Blueline Medic, Brad, Deadstar, Even, Gerling, The Living End, Mach Pelican, The Mavis's, Motor Ace, Powderfinger, Sidewinder, Skulker, Something for Kate, The Superjesus, Tumbleweed and Keane. In 2005, the band completed three interstate tours and performed at the Southbound festival in Busselton. In 2006,the band tour was the main support for Eskimo Joe, and for Dan Kelly and the Alpha Males during their first Western Australian headline tour. Following this, the band toured nationally with Little Birdy.

In 2000 Chatterbox came close again when the Sydney all-girl rock act Skulker was nominated in the 'Best Independent Release' category for its album "Too Fat for Tahiti". By now, the label had built a considerable roster of local acts that also included punk legends The Hard Ons and the progressive metal band Alchemist. Chatterbox was also courting foreign acts, one of the first to sign to the label being latter-day glam rock act Toilet Böys. After this, Chatterbox has attracted a string of independent and alternative artists from all genres and in 2006 picked up Nashville Pussy as part of its growing list of international signings.

The bay wren (Cantorchilus nigricapillus) is an attractive and highly vocal wren species, readily observed in forested areas, especially along watercourses, in the lowlands and foothills of parts of southern Central America and northwestern South America. Its distinctive vocalizations draw attention to this inquisitive species, which is nevertheless an expert skulker. The species is here assigned to the relatively new genus Cantorchilus; however, many authorities still treat it as a species of the genus Thryothorus. Some aspects of its taxonomy and behavioral ecology have been well studied, confirming that its seven recognized subspecies can be grouped into two distinct clades and giving insights into the functions of the antiphonal duetting that pairs of this species, like those of many Neotropical wrens, take part in.
