Pike has to change out of his wet clothes, so ends up wearing the vest of a flag-bearer's uniform and a bear-skin rug (which has a bear's head on it). Suddenly, they hear the sound of hounds howling. Mainwaring tells them not to be worried, and they go upstairs to find somewhere to sleep. Once in a bedroom, Mainwaring claims a single bed for himself, informing the others to sleep in the main double bed, on the couch and in a chair by the fireplace.

After meeting Kirchherr, Lennon filled his letters to Cynthia Powell (his girlfriend at the time) with "Astrid said this, Astrid did that", which made Powell jealous, until she read that Sutcliffe was in a relationship with Kirchherr. When Powell visited Hamburg with Dot Rhone (McCartney's girlfriend at the time) in April 1961, they stayed at Kirchherr's house. In August 1963, Kirchherr met Lennon and Cynthia in Paris while they were both there for a belated honeymoon, as Kirchherr was there with a girlfriend for a few days' holiday. The four of them went from wine bar to wine bar and finally ended up back at Kirchherr's lodgings, where all four fell asleep on Kirchherr's single bed.

In this performance, which lasted from 29 September 1978 through 30 September 1979, the artist locked himself in an wooden cage, furnished only with a wash basin, lights, a pail, and a single bed. Viva is the tenth studio album recorded by the British vocal duo Bananarama. It was released by Fascination Records on 14 September 2009 in the UK. Viva is Bananarama's fifth album as a duo of Sara Dallin and Keren Woodward, and their first new album since 2005's Drama. Also, for the first time since 1992 both Sara and Keren started to play bass guitar on some tracks on the album. It contains the singles "Love Comes", "Love Don't Live Here" and other new tracks co-written by Dallin and Woodward, as well as three cover versions – "Rapture" (originally by iiO), "The Runner" (originally a 1979 hit for The Three Degrees) and "S-S-S-Single Bed" (originally by Fox).

They supported Girls Aloud on the tour for their Tangled Up album and fellow labelmates Jonas Brothers at one of their recent live dates in London. Their first single, "If This Is Love" was released on 28 July 2008 and peaked at number 9 on the UK Singles Chart.

The protagonist, known only as "Our Hero" during the entirety of the story, lives a solitary life, and has not had sex for over two years. Within most of the book and film versions of Whatever, Our Hero draws on recollections of Schopenhauer and Kant to lambast the commodification of human contact, punctuating his inner monologue with bouts of nausea and masturbation. He is wracked by the implications of decisions that would seem minor to the average person, such as disclosing his lack of a sex life through the purchase of a single bed. He is teamed up with a disturbing, unattractive, desperate 28-year-old virgin, Raphael Tisserand, to deliver a series of seminars on the use of IT. Raphael looks up to Our Hero for ever having been able to hold down a relationship, and listens to his musings on love with tragic, but ultimately inspirational consequences.

The hotel is built in South Indian temple architecture and has four entrances similar to the temples in South India, accordingly named as 'Vallavan' (North), 'Sembiyan' (East), 'Killi' (South), and 'Chola' (West). In early June 2018, Minaj released the cover art for the album on Twitter, shot by Mert and Marcus, which features Minaj topless, wearing pasties, with a Cleopatra-inspired head-dress, and revealed that her next tour would be a double-header with rapper Future.

The band uploaded a video to their Facebook profile on July 8, 2012 stating that they're finished recording and the new album will be released later this year. Their self-titled album was released on October 9, 2012, with a single, "Bed of Nails", being released on September 11, 2012. David Stephens of We Came as Romans appeared as a vocalist on the track "C4". Texas in July supported Falling In Reverse at the Snickers presents Six Flags FestEvil FrightFest New Jersey on September 29, 2012 with Norma Jean, We Came as Romans, Born of Osiris, I, the Breather, My Ticket Home, Palisades, Visions, Horizons, I Am King, First of the Fallen, and Dream for Tomorrow. To close out 2012, Texas in July provided support to For Today on "The Unshakeable Tour" (October - November 2012) with other support from Impending Doom; and announced their first tour of 2013 on November 19, 2012 providing support on Of Mice & Men's North American tour (January - March 2013) presented by Tilly's, with additional support from Woe, Is Me, Volumes, and Capture The Crown.

The poppet valves required less horsepower for fast operation and were able to distribute steam flow with precision valve operation when going at high speeds. The T1's were further burdened by excessive wheel slip on one of the two engine sets when the locomotive operated at high speed or when the engine started moving. The Pennsylvania Railroad tried to address the problem by changing the spring bed arrangement on the T1, from being a single bed that supported only the eight drivers, to two beds; the forward bed supporting the pilot truck and first engine and the aft bed supporting the second engine and trailing truck. Days after López was formally sentenced and imprisoned, he wrote an op-ed for The New York Times titled Even in Jail, I Will Fight for a Free Venezuela in which he describes how he was twice visited by then President of the National Assembly and PSUV official, Diosdado Cabello, shortly after the Venezuelan government called for his arrest with Cabello telling López that he should seek refuge at a foreign embassy; with López saying that he later decided to turn himself in on 18 February 2014. He also called for international attention on the state of Venezuela's economy, corruption and crime, sharing his beliefs on how to help improve Venezuela. Texas in July single, "Bed of Nails" was featured as part of Equal Vision Records' "New Sounds 2013, Vol. 2 - EP" compilation via iTunes on April 9, 2013. The band played the LAUNCH Music Conference at the Chameleon Club in Lancaster, PA on April 25, 2013; and is currently providing direct support to Structures on their Canadian headliner (May 2013). The band played eight solo shows on their trek home following the Canadian tour (May – June 2013); and supported Impending Doom at the Pennsylvania Deathbed Festival in Allentown, PA on June 29, 2013. As of March 2013, the band entered the studio to record; and on June 18 it was revealed that they will be releasing a deluxe edition of their self-titled album on July 16, containing 3 new songs. The band headlined a "Northeast Mini-Tour" (July 5–11, 2013) with support of local acts; and will also be playing the final leg of the Van's Warped Tour 2013 (July–August 2013). David Stephens of We Came as Romans provided guest vocals for during the song "C4" starting July 26, 2013 in Tampa, FL and announced that he would be for the remainder of Van's Warped Tour 2013.
